[00:00:26] Hey there. Welcome to Healthy AF. I'm so glad you're here with me today.

[00:00:31] Like I have said on the other two podcasts this whole month, we are talking about spirituality and I am let you know if you've listened to my podcast long or if you know me personally, you know, I will dive into a deep conversation and be here for hours.

[00:00:49] It's one of my happy places. So I'm really happy to make little snippets of spirituality and share them with y'all. I hope that you are willing to jump in and dive deep.

[00:01:03] We talked on the first spirituality podcast that it's actually important, like for your happiness for your health for your well-being if you don't have a sense of purpose and connectivity to a greater something than you, no matter what you call it.

[00:01:20] Then you're missing a big piece of your health puzzle. And then the second podcast, the first first part to this one, it was when you find your toes in that mushy poop pile that you do not like.

[00:01:34] How fast does it take you to get to looking for that golden nugget?

[00:01:40] And we talked about how you can't really be in that spot of understanding that there is something there for you to learn even when you're irritated if you don't have the key concept of spirituality and connectedness.

[00:01:58] So here's another thing that develops out of looking for the golden nugget.

[00:02:04] And really it's imperative to also have that whole theory of when something goes horribly wrong and I don't like it, there's something for me to learn, right?

[00:02:14] They feed into each other.

[00:02:16] Is this last little concept of faith and trust?

[00:02:20] I can't imagine finding my feet or even up to my knees or mid thigh of poop pile.

[00:02:38] The big ones, your kid is sick, your marriage is ending, your parent is dying, your dog died.

[00:02:49] Your job ended.

[00:02:51] I can't imagine being in one of those poop piles and instantly looking for the nugget of what is there for me to learn.

[00:03:03] And how does this move me forward?

[00:03:06] If I did not have the faith that actually I was okay, that everything was okay and it was going to be okay.

[00:03:20] I don't know why people are wired to either feel like nothing is okay and nothing will ever be okay or everything is okay and everything is okay right now.

[00:03:37] But I know that putting that mindset shift in my life has saved my butt.

[00:03:47] It has saved me from sleepless nights.

[00:03:51] It has saved me from drinking too much, eating too much,

[00:03:57] wasting away in procrastination, numbing out with Netflix and in general just being stagnant and meh.

[00:04:14] That idea that it is okay, I am okay, it is going to be okay and I am going to be okay.

[00:04:26] So when I put all of that together, that I am connected to a bigger picture,

[00:04:32] that in every poop pile there is a golden nugget, I just have to find it.

[00:04:37] And that indeed I am okay right now and I am going to be okay.

[00:04:42] There is some peace and serenity to be found in that.

[00:04:46] And where there is peace and serenity, there is thriving.

[00:04:50] So I wonder, what are you thinking?

[00:04:55] Are you thinking that it is okay?

[00:04:59] If you are not, what would it be like for you to switch that mindset to really having the faith and the trust that it is okay.
