[00:00:00] What you want, when you want it, where you want it.

[00:00:06] This is The MESH.

[00:00:09] Hey I'm Amy Chang.

[00:00:10] I'm a nationally board certified health and wellness coach and this is Healthy AF.

[00:00:15] In this podcast I'll be bringing you all things health from the newest health strategies

[00:00:20] to how to tackle those personal roadblocks that just will not let you move forward.

[00:00:26] So buckle in.

[00:00:27] We're going to be inspired and instructed and Dad Gum, we're going to have a little fun

[00:00:32] on Healthy AF.

[00:00:37] Hey everybody and welcome to Healthy AF.

[00:00:39] Thanks for being with me here again.

[00:00:42] Last podcast about spirituality.

[00:00:45] We've talked all about some deep stuff this month even in just a five and 10 minute

[00:00:54] podcast.

[00:00:55] And this tool that I will give you today is one of my most favorite tools.

[00:01:03] It's so helpful.

[00:01:04] I use this with my clients a lot.

[00:01:06] I use this in my personal growth and development a lot and it was given to me by a dear mentor.

[00:01:12] I will forever be grateful for all the time she has given to me and in my own peace

[00:01:23] and serenity and growing into a fully useful human being.

[00:01:28] And that is the whole Pono Pono prayer.

[00:01:33] Now when she first told me about the whole Pono Pono prayer I was like stop the presses

[00:01:37] because I think you stuttered.

[00:01:38] I don't understand what you just said.

[00:01:42] If you try to spell it properly on the Google machine, you'll find it.

[00:01:45] It's not that hard to find.

[00:01:49] And you'll find a beautiful story and the story was that there was a psychiatrist who

[00:01:56] worked with the Krimelian Saint in Hawaii in a prison.

[00:02:02] And he wrote in their charts every day for statements.

[00:02:07] Didn't spend any face to face time with them and sure enough more of them rehabilitated

[00:02:16] than they expected.

[00:02:19] I don't know about all the details around that.

[00:02:23] You can Google it and find out for yourself.

[00:02:27] But I do know it's been life changing for me just for easy statements.

[00:02:31] And here they are.

[00:02:34] I'm sorry.

[00:02:36] Please forgive me.

[00:02:39] Thank you.

[00:02:40] I love you.

[00:02:44] So it's as easy as that.

[00:02:46] You can leave it right there or you can write things down.

[00:02:50] You can do it for anyone.

[00:02:53] You can especially do it for people who have hurt you.

[00:02:56] You can do it for yourself.

[00:02:58] So some of mine sound like this.

[00:03:03] I'm sorry, Amy, that I didn't take care of you.

[00:03:09] Please forgive me.

[00:03:12] Thank you for doing the work and growing up.

[00:03:18] I love you.

[00:03:21] Some of mine that might be with people who have challenged me might sound like this.

[00:03:35] I'm sorry that I enabled you.

[00:03:38] Please forgive me.

[00:03:41] Thank you for teaching me how to really love people.

[00:03:47] I love you.

[00:03:49] See how that might work?

[00:03:53] There is a real peacefulness to be had in working with these four statements.

[00:03:59] So that wraps up our spirituality month.

[00:04:03] It's really one of my most favorite things to pass along.

[00:04:08] And we'll put a link in the show notes for the whole point of point of prayer.

[00:04:13] I hope that brings you something in your life, some way to open up your heart, some way to

[00:04:19] let go of stuff, some way to communicate to yourself, take care of you because you're

[00:04:24] important.

[00:04:26] Give yourself some grace.

[00:04:28] Like, subscribe, share this podcast.

[00:04:31] We'll see you later.
