Network Storage (NAS) & Plex
Well, if you are a fan of the show…you will know that Alan has a real thing for back-ups. I mean…it is a borderline unhealthy relationship with backing up his files. But, for this episode, that obsession may just benefit all of us as he explains his latest step in backing up his files via a NAS (Network Attached Storage) device…and its additional use of it for a Plex server. What is a NAS? What can you do with one? Why might you want one? Will this turn you into a backup freak like Alan? Well, you will have to watch/listen to find out. Plus, Brian tries to contribute something to the episode with some helpful tips….and much to Alan’s dismay, backing up your files is not one of them.
