[00:00:05] What up, what up, what up? Welcome to the latest episode of Unplanned and Unashamed with Ray Money and Isaiah Pennell.

[00:00:15] Yes, but it was, I went, I drove to Florida. I drove eight hours, so it was still, you know, some work because you had to drive so many hours.

[00:00:24] Gotcha.

[00:00:25] But the kids enjoyed it, so it was cool.

[00:00:29] I think we need to call the podcast Figuring It Out and abbreviate it to FIO.

[00:00:36] FIO.

[00:00:37] That's it. We just figuring it out.

[00:00:39] The FIO Show. The FIO Show.

[00:00:43] Hey man, that's pretty much what I do every day. I be just trying to figure it out.

[00:00:48] I do the same thing. I just figure it out day by day.

[00:00:52] I don't know what I'm, you know, just figuring it out.

[00:00:54] I'm piecing it.

[00:00:56] Yeah.

[00:00:57] I was, I mean, yeah, my vacation was good, man. How was work, man?

[00:01:00] It was good. It was good. I'm prepping for a show up in Virginia.

[00:01:04] I was in Virginia, August the 4th. So I've been, you know, studying my material because I have some new stuff in there that I want to work out.

[00:01:13] I have a new bit about, so I work at a nursing home and there was this guy that proposed to his girlfriend at the nursing home in the dining room in front of a room full of old people with dementia.

[00:01:28] So like half of the people involved ain't going to remember it.

[00:01:34] They ain't got no witness.

[00:01:35] They ain't got no witness.

[00:01:38] No witness at all.

[00:01:40] But yeah, they, he, they was eating supper and I forgot what they had for supper that day.

[00:01:46] It was probably like, you know, pinto beans and cornbread or something.

[00:01:49] And he just got down on one knee in the whole dining room and popped out the ring.

[00:01:54] And I'm thinking, honey, if I was you, I would have said, hell no, you got to step up your game home, boy.

[00:02:01] Oh man.

[00:02:01] So you'd be putting the pressure on him, man.

[00:02:03] That's why that's what he had.

[00:02:07] Now, was it, you was telling me a story.

[00:02:09] One time we talked on the phone.

[00:02:12] Wasn't you late for your marriage proposal?

[00:02:17] No, no, no.

[00:02:17] My wife was like, wife was like, she on the other side of the camera.

[00:02:27] Hey, watch it, man.

[00:02:28] Let's not get into it.

[00:02:29] Oh, you don't, you don't want to.

[00:02:30] About what I said.

[00:02:32] Yeah.

[00:02:33] Because now you be all jokey, jokey on your little podcast.

[00:02:37] And then the podcast is all, we're going to be arguing.

[00:02:42] Yeah.

[00:02:43] I don't want to turn into Chris Rock.

[00:02:46] No, I'm kidding.

[00:02:50] So, so you don't want to tell that story.

[00:02:52] We're just going to steer clear of that.

[00:02:54] Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no.

[00:02:55] No, I proposed to, I proposed to my wife in front of the church.

[00:03:00] And look at her, bringing me a fan.

[00:03:02] Thank you.

[00:03:04] It's hot in here.

[00:03:05] She turned the AC off.

[00:03:06] She's like, there's a leaf jacket too.

[00:03:11] She get cold though.

[00:03:12] But I, I proposed in front of the church.

[00:03:17] We had a, what do we do?

[00:03:22] I had to set it up where I can have like the projector with, with some pictures and stuff from, from previous times of dating and stuff.

[00:03:33] And then, huh?

[00:03:38] She was oblivious to us.

[00:03:39] So it didn't even matter.

[00:03:40] Let me just tell you something.

[00:03:42] She was just so, she had no idea what was going on.

[00:03:47] She's just oblivious to it all.

[00:03:49] She was like, wait, we late for church.

[00:03:52] And then, uh, cause we would go to church, but you know, we just, I tried to make it as much as just like a regular day.

[00:04:04] A regular day of just us going to church and then, uh, the regular Sunday.

[00:04:09] And then, um, I just invited all our family and, uh, let me see.

[00:04:14] I had a few people on online and then, uh, like, so they could watch the zoom basically.

[00:04:22] So, and I had in the church, so I had to make an announcement.

[00:04:28] So I planned it out with the, with the past and everybody.

[00:04:32] And then, uh, so you were doing it at the beginning of the service?

[00:04:37] No, no.

[00:04:38] At the announcement in the middle.

[00:04:41] Gotcha.

[00:04:41] So after like, so after the, in the middle of the, in like in the middle of the, the service.

[00:04:49] So we had, uh, it was like after, after they had did like some of the, look, I ain't gonna lie.

[00:04:58] We was late.

[00:04:59] So I don't know what happened beforehand, but normally they do all the singing and praise and worship and all that good stuff.

[00:05:07] And then they kind of go and start to go into the announcements and some of the church, kind of the, like some of the church business.

[00:05:15] Uh, yeah, we, so, and then we have the announcements and the welcomes and all the other things.

[00:05:20] And then, um, one of the announcements was that.

[00:05:24] So we did the during the middle and then we kind of, you know, the pastor brought me, we had one more announcement.

[00:05:33] Yeah, I hear you.

[00:05:34] I was late for church the other day.

[00:05:35] Yeah.

[00:05:36] They, they was done well into service when we got there.

[00:05:41] They was, they was, well, they was still like in, you know, praise and worship and singing.

[00:05:46] And I go to a non-denominational church.

[00:05:48] So they sing for like 40 minutes and stuff.

[00:05:52] Oh yeah.

[00:05:53] Yeah.

[00:05:53] You could have, you could have ate lunch and then came back and singing praise and worship that long.

[00:05:59] I could have had an egg on steak and baked potato for lunch.

[00:06:03] And then they still came back and they still would have been singing Wade in the Walker.

[00:06:08] I think I heard one time, somebody was like, uh, if you, it take that much for you to get into the spirit.

[00:06:15] And now with some change, you aren't, you just been away from church too long.

[00:06:19] Right.

[00:06:19] That's what that is.

[00:06:21] You need to come with it already on the edge.

[00:06:24] We just, two songs, you already there.

[00:06:27] Well, our church does like three or four, but they spend like 15 minutes per song.

[00:06:33] Oh, 15 minutes per song.

[00:06:35] Yeah.

[00:06:35] That could, that could, they go through each one of the lines in the hymnals.

[00:06:39] Right.

[00:06:41] Y'all gonna go through the whole song?

[00:06:43] You can, like, let's skip some of these verses right here.

[00:06:48] I'll be like looking down at my watch and be like, daggone, they're still going.

[00:06:52] Okay.

[00:06:53] I'm gonna ask you what's your praise and worship like?

[00:06:55] What is y'all, what's y'all at your church?

[00:06:57] What is it like?

[00:06:58] So we actually have a band, like we've got a guitar player and somebody on the keyboards.

[00:07:03] Okay.

[00:07:03] And you go for, you go to a black church?

[00:07:05] No, no.

[00:07:06] The keyboard.

[00:07:07] Yeah, we do have a guitar.

[00:07:08] And when the preacher is preaching, he'll get on the keyboards and like play the keyboards

[00:07:12] and stuff while the preacher is preaching.

[00:07:14] Oh yeah, that's definitely a black church.

[00:07:16] You ain't gonna tell me no difference.

[00:07:17] It's, there is a lot of black people, but it's a mixture of like, like there's, but yeah,

[00:07:26] the guy will get on the keyboards and just start playing while the preacher's preaching.

[00:07:30] And everybody's like, preach it, shout it, you know.

[00:07:33] So.

[00:07:34] Yeah.

[00:07:35] That's cool, man.

[00:07:36] Like I just, just recently I, uh, I performed in Cherokee, North Carolina.

[00:07:41] And, uh, we went to, uh, we started things, trying to get out and about to go take the kids.

[00:07:46] And since we travel, go to church in some of the areas that we go to, you know, so we're just not always missing church.

[00:07:52] So we just guessing.

[00:07:53] And so we started this at, uh, while I was in Cherokee and performing at the casino.

[00:07:58] And I just went to one of the churches there and it was cool, man.

[00:08:02] Cause it was some natives there.

[00:08:04] So they did some of the, uh, some of the, uh, like the praise and worship.

[00:08:10] They sing the song and then they say some of the prayers and stuff in, in Cherokee.

[00:08:14] Gotcha.

[00:08:15] And I was in, in, in the, in the, and that's the native song.

[00:08:17] And it was interesting to, uh, to see, I never seen, uh, seen done like that before.

[00:08:22] So it was pretty cool.

[00:08:24] That does sound cool.

[00:08:25] I would like to attend the, like a primarily native American worship service.

[00:08:31] I bet that'd be real cool.

[00:08:34] Yeah, well, I mean, right then I was like, look, man, we, we were into, you know, venture off in anywhere.

[00:08:43] So my, uh, great grandfather, he used to take moonshine to the Cherokee Indians and, you know, they have back in like the 1930s and stuff.

[00:08:56] And you can't bring alcohol into the reservation unless, you know, it's at the casino.

[00:09:02] So he would like, you said, who did this?

[00:09:04] My papa, my great grandfather.

[00:09:06] He would say, your great grandfather was a bootlegger.

[00:09:09] Yeah, basically.

[00:09:10] He was a bootlegger.

[00:09:12] He was a bootlegger.

[00:09:13] He was smuggling liquor to the Cherokees.

[00:09:16] Hey man.

[00:09:18] And then it, man, he probably big in the Cherokee community.

[00:09:20] Oh, he was back in the day.

[00:09:22] My, my grandma has a big picture of him and one of the chiefs and stuff.

[00:09:27] And he has on this big feathered headdress and everything.

[00:09:31] Oh yeah.

[00:09:32] You got it.

[00:09:33] They done, they done made the plug family.

[00:09:35] Your great papa was the Cherokee liquor plug.

[00:09:39] Yeah.

[00:09:39] She has a picture hanging up in the living room.

[00:09:42] Just, it was him and my great uncle Hoot.

[00:09:46] That was his nickname Hoot.

[00:09:48] That's how you know you.

[00:09:49] Yeah.

[00:09:49] Hoot.

[00:09:50] Oh, who is it?

[00:09:51] That was the real one.

[00:09:52] Yeah.

[00:09:52] Cause he had the Hoot.

[00:09:54] Hey, he's a marketing genius.

[00:09:56] But yeah.

[00:09:56] What's his name?

[00:09:57] Who?

[00:09:57] Yeah.

[00:09:58] Who?

[00:09:58] Yeah.

[00:09:58] Cause I got it.

[00:10:02] So yeah, he would take moonshine and then in return, they would teach him how to make

[00:10:07] arrowheads.

[00:10:08] So.

[00:10:08] You know how to make arrowheads?

[00:10:10] So one.

[00:10:11] Do you know how to make arrowheads?

[00:10:12] I have no clue how to make arrowheads.

[00:10:16] So, but yeah.

[00:10:17] The great papa took all that liquor and.

[00:10:19] Did I learn how to make arrowheads?

[00:10:21] That's exactly what happened.

[00:10:23] He would say, here's moonshine.

[00:10:25] You teach me how to make arrowheads.

[00:10:27] And then one day he went back up to Virginia and he had this idea.

[00:10:31] He made his own arrowhead and dipped it in dirt.

[00:10:36] And then he sold it for like 200 bucks cause they thought it was a actual legit Cherokee

[00:10:43] Indian arrowhead.

[00:10:45] They didn't know the difference.

[00:10:47] You come from, you come from a lone line of criminals.

[00:10:50] Let's see how they are.

[00:10:52] He made some.

[00:10:53] And scammed people.

[00:10:55] Well, a bunch of my grandfather's moonshineers.

[00:10:59] So yeah, I do come from a lone line of criminals.

[00:11:03] Hey man, let me tell you something.

[00:11:04] They're the smooth criminals though.

[00:11:07] They're like that Michael Jackson, the smooth criminal.

[00:11:11] I just messed up.

[00:11:15] Maybe.

[00:11:15] I mean, it's all perspective.

[00:11:19] Some people call them criminals.

[00:11:21] Some people call us activists.

[00:11:24] No, I mean, I don't know.

[00:11:28] Some people call them.

[00:11:30] I don't know, man.

[00:11:31] If you like alcohol, that's the man.

[00:11:38] So did you do anything fun on vacation with the kids and stuff?

[00:11:44] Man, it was a, they had a great time.

[00:11:48] I was spending money.

[00:11:50] So it kind of, we did to, we went to a, a pirate, like pirate show, like pirates of

[00:11:59] the Caribbean type show where they, uh, dinner theater.

[00:12:04] We go into these things like before, like we want to, uh, it was a medieval times one

[00:12:12] where they joust and do stuff like that.

[00:12:15] So that was cool.

[00:12:16] But then we, um, we went to the pirate when it was all right.

[00:12:19] It wasn't really, I don't know, I guess, but the, uh, I guess the highlight was just,

[00:12:28] we were just at where we were at.

[00:12:29] We, uh, we took one.

[00:12:31] We did one of the little, little timeshare things.

[00:12:34] Yeah.

[00:12:35] We did the timeshare for the vacation.

[00:12:37] Oh man.

[00:12:38] It was nice too.

[00:12:39] It was nice.

[00:12:42] So we spent a few days just, uh, just at the hotel.

[00:12:46] I mean, just, they had like a, they got like four swimming pools with, uh, tennis courts

[00:12:53] and basketball and ping pong.

[00:12:55] Yeah.

[00:12:55] All the type of stuff.

[00:12:56] And we were just trying to spend some family time.

[00:12:58] And then we took a, uh, drive a road by and walk through like Disney Springs to like

[00:13:04] the little shopping area and stuff.

[00:13:05] So you went to, you went to Orlando area, right?

[00:13:10] Mm-hmm.

[00:13:12] I've, I've been through Orlando, but I've never actually like been in Orlando.

[00:13:19] I drove through.

[00:13:20] You never been in Orlando?

[00:13:21] Yeah.

[00:13:22] Well, I drove through it, uh, going to the John Reap cruise.

[00:13:26] Cause that's where we landed was in the Orlando airport, but I've never actually like been in Orlando.

[00:13:33] Mm.

[00:13:34] Hey man, you better get you one.

[00:13:36] Look, you need to start your Hilton Marriott.

[00:13:39] One of these little honors programs.

[00:13:40] They send you these little time shift trips.

[00:13:43] You can go for like two, three days.

[00:13:45] Or no, baby.

[00:13:46] About three, four days.

[00:13:47] Does the Baymont have a time shift thing?

[00:13:51] Is that where you are now?

[00:13:53] No, I'm at home now.

[00:13:54] Hey man.

[00:13:56] Last week.

[00:13:57] That's where I stayed at.

[00:13:58] Remember I was at the Baymont.

[00:13:59] I had a problem with Baymont.

[00:14:00] What's your problem?

[00:14:01] One time, man.

[00:14:02] What?

[00:14:03] Man, I don't like Baymont at all, man.

[00:14:04] Like one time I went to, you know, you stay, we stay in different hotel spans.

[00:14:10] This is what has upgraded me to doing it.

[00:14:12] I've been in some in there and one of them, uh, had, had some bugs in there.

[00:14:18] And I, cause I check, I generally check all the rooms as soon as I get in.

[00:14:21] And so I generally pay, but I didn't know that you, you had to, uh, you could check them before you pay.

[00:14:28] I didn't know that.

[00:14:29] So I paid, I went and checked the room and it had bugs.

[00:14:32] I'm like, nah, I don't want to stay here.

[00:14:34] I was like, can I get a refund?

[00:14:36] I literally just walked in and walk and walk right back to the office.

[00:14:39] I had kids and other guys in the car.

[00:14:42] And then, uh, cause it's generally traveling, my wife and everybody travel on the road with me.

[00:14:46] So it's, uh, uh, at this particular one, I don't know where we're at.

[00:14:53] I ain't gonna, I ain't gonna sit in there.

[00:14:55] It doesn't even matter.

[00:14:56] But it was, I went back to the front and I was like, wait, uh, the room got buzzed and I'd rather not stay tonight.

[00:15:03] And I was like, Hey, let me just get a refund.

[00:15:07] It was less than two minutes.

[00:15:09] I went to open the door, check the room.

[00:15:11] Like, nah, I'm good.

[00:15:12] And, um, she was like, no, I called man.

[00:15:17] You have to talk to management.

[00:15:19] And then I was like, all right, cool.

[00:15:21] The manager's now he's going to be in tomorrow.

[00:15:24] I'm like, well, I'm not staying tonight.

[00:15:25] I don't know what you need to do.

[00:15:26] I'm going to go somewhere else and I'll come back tomorrow for my money.

[00:15:30] I come back tomorrow, the next day.

[00:15:33] And the manager don't know nothing.

[00:15:35] Now I'm like, look, we are, I don't know who you need to get back up here.

[00:15:40] Well, you just took my money.

[00:15:41] I'm like, I didn't need to stay.

[00:15:42] And I talked to him and I got called the police and all type of other stuff.

[00:15:46] But I'm like, all right, Baymont, you assholes.

[00:15:50] You still owe me some money.

[00:15:52] Calling out the Baymont.

[00:15:53] Clean your room.

[00:15:54] I'm going to be honest.

[00:15:55] When I stayed in the Baymont last time we did the podcast, I didn't check for any bugs.

[00:16:00] I walked in, I took off the shorts and I just ran straight for the bed.

[00:16:06] I was like, man, let me tell you something.

[00:16:09] It is a traveling from hotel to hotel.

[00:16:12] You like you bound to catch something.

[00:16:15] You've got bad bugs or something.

[00:16:17] Cause people travel in different, just spend the way they're going.

[00:16:19] They travel differently.

[00:16:20] I don't, I don't always, sometimes I travel solo and I don't care the price.

[00:16:24] I'll just take a cheat.

[00:16:25] Well, I used to, I'm learning now, not do the cheat room all the time, but I still was.

[00:16:30] Cause I'm just cause it's just me.

[00:16:33] I don't care.

[00:16:34] I've slept in a car before.

[00:16:35] So I'm like, all right, let me get somewhere.

[00:16:37] But you mess around and get bed bugs.

[00:16:40] So I check it just, uh, before anything I check, I go and check the room first.

[00:16:45] Cause it'd be looking nice on the outside, but you get in there.

[00:16:48] Wait, that's how it is at the, uh, a wilderness in Pigeon Forge here.

[00:16:55] We're calling out hotels now.

[00:16:57] The wilderness in Pigeon Forge.

[00:16:59] When it first opened up, me and my family stayed there and I had to have been about 10 or 11.

[00:17:07] And mom, she's like, she'll check sheets, change them, everything.

[00:17:12] Like she's a stickler about it.

[00:17:15] And I don't know how we called it.

[00:17:18] Cause I can remember her checking the sheets, but somehow we ended up with scabies.

[00:17:22] Cause the people before us had them.

[00:17:24] Scabies.

[00:17:25] Yeah, scabies.

[00:17:26] And man, let me tell you something.

[00:17:28] I am, uh, I've become more and more over the years.

[00:17:31] You end up playing, you end up staying.

[00:17:33] The more you stand on tape, like, nah, I got to go.

[00:17:36] Cause you just, ugh.

[00:17:38] I don't, I get tired of the inconsistency, I guess.

[00:17:40] And it's like, all right, some.

[00:17:42] And the wilderness.

[00:17:43] Like it wasn't.

[00:17:44] Go ahead.

[00:17:46] You said scabies.

[00:17:47] Mm-hmm.

[00:17:49] That's wild.

[00:17:49] Yeah, the wilderness had just opened up.

[00:17:52] So, and it looked like a five-star hotel.

[00:17:54] They had a nice indoor water park.

[00:17:58] And then when we got back, we was riding in the car from Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

[00:18:02] And I just started scratching.

[00:18:04] I'm like, oh my gosh, why am I so itching?

[00:18:07] And we had to go to the, our pediatrician, like our child pediatrician.

[00:18:13] Yeah.

[00:18:13] And one of his nurses had to take like a little, uh, scraper and scrape all the bites and stuff.

[00:18:20] It was disgusting.

[00:18:22] What?

[00:18:23] Yeah.

[00:18:23] They have to like, scrape all your bug bites.

[00:18:28] You got, uh, you got escaped.

[00:18:32] They went to the wilderness and you got a real wilderness experience.

[00:18:38] They should have added that in the brochure.

[00:18:40] Waterfalls and, waterfalls and palm trees and, no.

[00:18:47] Waterfalls, palm trees, indoor water park, a big, nice water slides.

[00:18:52] And then scabies.

[00:18:53] That sound nice, man.

[00:18:54] Oh, it was nice.

[00:18:55] Except for the scabies.

[00:18:57] That was, and then.

[00:18:59] Except for that rash on your ass.

[00:19:00] Yeah.

[00:19:00] Except for those big old bug bites all over my left ass cheek.

[00:19:03] Those wasn't very nice.

[00:19:08] Hey, where's that?

[00:19:09] God, no.

[00:19:09] He might get you some bug spray and how much were the rooms?

[00:19:13] I don't remember, but that was expensive.

[00:19:16] I know that.

[00:19:16] Window water park?

[00:19:17] Yeah.

[00:19:17] They had an indoor water park.

[00:19:19] And then they had like a.

[00:19:20] We're going to get some itch cream and go on anyway.

[00:19:27] And they have a lazy river.

[00:19:28] That's their plan.

[00:19:29] They have a lazy river on the outside.

[00:19:32] I mean.

[00:19:32] They got a lazy river?

[00:19:33] Yeah, it's a nice river.

[00:19:34] Where'd you get them from?

[00:19:35] Did you get it from the.

[00:19:36] Like the.

[00:19:36] How did you know where you got them from?

[00:19:38] Um.

[00:19:39] Well, I think it was just the people that stayed in the room before us had it.

[00:19:45] I mean, how do you know?

[00:19:46] How do you know?

[00:19:47] That's where you in the room is where you got them from.

[00:19:49] Oh, well.

[00:19:50] That's a good.

[00:19:51] Can you get them from anywhere else?

[00:19:53] I'm not sure.

[00:19:54] We.

[00:19:54] So maybe we might not have got it from the room, but that's what we are thinking.

[00:19:59] Oh, I say it brought the scapes.

[00:20:01] No, I just play.

[00:20:03] I brought the scapes back.

[00:20:05] I just play.

[00:20:07] Where the.

[00:20:08] Like you could have gotten like.

[00:20:09] Like how do you catch scapes?

[00:20:10] What is.

[00:20:11] What is.

[00:20:11] What is.

[00:20:12] It's just like a little bug that gets in under your skin.

[00:20:17] And then it like.

[00:20:19] Hatches other bugs and poops under your skin.

[00:20:22] Like it's a nasty bug.

[00:20:24] It's a bug that poops under your skin.

[00:20:26] Yeah.

[00:20:28] Look, I'm.

[00:20:29] I'm itching now.

[00:20:30] Thank you.

[00:20:31] Thank you.

[00:20:32] Yeah.

[00:20:33] We calling out all the hotels today.

[00:20:36] Baymont.

[00:20:36] Hey.

[00:20:37] Just let you know.

[00:20:39] Just.

[00:20:39] Just as a safety precaution.

[00:20:40] I say all these going to be video.

[00:20:42] Uh.

[00:20:43] Podcasts.

[00:20:45] And then.

[00:20:47] Well, to make it even worse.

[00:20:50] Three years later.

[00:20:51] So that happened when I was 10.

[00:20:53] So.

[00:20:54] I was about 13.

[00:20:55] We stayed at the wilderness again.

[00:20:58] Cause we didn't learn our lesson.

[00:21:00] From catching the babies.

[00:21:02] We're in the water park.

[00:21:04] And they have like little.

[00:21:07] Restaurants that you can go up to and get like pizza or a burger or.

[00:21:12] Just simple, quick stuff.

[00:21:14] So we got this pepperoni pizza.

[00:21:17] And went back and set it at our table.

[00:21:20] And we wondered back off.

[00:21:22] Well, when we were walking back towards our table, we saw a rat, not a mouse, a rat about that long.

[00:21:30] Crawling under our table.

[00:21:31] Crawling.

[00:21:32] Right where our pizza is at.

[00:21:34] That was part of the decoration.

[00:21:36] That was part of the decoration.

[00:21:39] That was part of the decoration.

[00:21:40] He worked there.

[00:21:41] He's an employee.

[00:21:42] He had a little name badge and everything.

[00:21:45] It's the wilderness.

[00:21:46] What you.

[00:21:46] You don't stay to see no animals?

[00:21:49] This is me if I'm the manager at the wilderness.

[00:21:52] You ain't seen no animals.

[00:21:54] What you expect to get.

[00:21:55] You ready to get all this and no animals?

[00:21:57] Right.

[00:21:58] Yeah.

[00:21:59] He had a little name badge and everything underneath that table.

[00:22:04] But yeah, that was the last time we stayed at the wilderness is when that big old.

[00:22:08] I mean, it was a.

[00:22:09] How.

[00:22:09] Okay.

[00:22:10] So you were.

[00:22:11] You were young.

[00:22:12] You don't even know.

[00:22:12] I want to look up the wilderness.

[00:22:13] I want to see how much these tickets are.

[00:22:16] Oh, they're expensive.

[00:22:18] And it's still like a top hotel in Pigeon Forge, Surveilleville, Gatlinburg, that area.

[00:22:29] What is it?

[00:22:29] Is it the wilderness in Pigeon?

[00:22:33] It's the wilderness at the Smokies.

[00:22:36] I want to see what it looks like.

[00:22:39] Wilderness at Smokies.

[00:22:40] Stays from $46.

[00:22:44] Oh yeah, man.

[00:22:46] That's what come with it.

[00:22:47] What do you mean?

[00:22:48] We look at the wilderness at the Smokies.

[00:22:53] Is that what you said?

[00:22:54] Yes, sir.

[00:22:55] I want to see what the tickets cost.

[00:22:59] As of today.

[00:23:02] Which, do you know which part you stayed in?

[00:23:04] I don't remember.

[00:23:07] Yeah, let's just pick one.

[00:23:08] The wilderness.

[00:23:15] Let's see.

[00:23:21] Oh man, they ain't got no rooms.

[00:23:25] All right.

[00:23:27] This must be a great deal.

[00:23:28] Oh, could you not find how much a room was?

[00:23:38] I'm looking now.

[00:23:41] Double queen couch.

[00:23:43] Oh wait, that's for...

[00:23:45] Now when we go up, we just rent a cabin or something.

[00:23:49] We said screw the hotels and all that.

[00:23:52] We're just going to get a cabin from now on.

[00:23:57] Wow.

[00:24:02] I can't even...

[00:24:04] I haven't found an opening.

[00:24:09] Wait, so they're like booked out?

[00:24:12] That far?

[00:24:13] Oh, here we go now.

[00:24:16] This is like August 8th.

[00:24:17] Double queen.

[00:24:19] This is like the smallest room.

[00:24:22] Four people is a double queen.

[00:24:24] Like a baby hotel room.

[00:24:27] Let's see how much is.

[00:24:36] Coming in on Friday, checking out on a Saturday.

[00:24:44] $2.79.

[00:24:47] So for two...

[00:24:49] One night.

[00:24:51] Two adults.

[00:24:55] $347.44.

[00:24:57] And we stayed like Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

[00:25:02] I think.

[00:25:03] Ooh, you baller.

[00:25:04] Well, this is a time ago, right?

[00:25:06] Yeah, this was a long time ago.

[00:25:08] So it was probably about...

[00:25:10] Man, this many people for $300 a night.

[00:25:14] I'm sure...

[00:25:16] They must have cleaned up their act, I guess.

[00:25:21] Wait, because that was what?

[00:25:22] How old are you now?

[00:25:23] I'll be 23 in September.

[00:25:25] So that was like 12 years ago.

[00:25:28] By 20?

[00:25:28] Oh yeah, they doing...

[00:25:31] Maybe they getting the...

[00:25:33] Maybe they stepped up the game a little bit.

[00:25:35] Let's hope they stepped up the game.

[00:25:38] You go back, the mouse is a supervisor.

[00:25:40] Yeah, there you go.

[00:25:42] He's running the damn thing.

[00:25:44] He's like, I'm in charge now.

[00:25:46] I got my own office.

[00:25:48] I got my own little babies running things.

[00:25:53] Oh, y'all got a problem.

[00:25:54] Excuse me, let me get Mr. Whiskers for you.

[00:25:58] What?

[00:26:03] Three.

[00:26:03] And then the housekeepers are a bunch of little scabie bugs just running around.

[00:26:10] Oh man.

[00:26:13] That's good, man.

[00:26:13] I had...

[00:26:14] I've had a few hotel type businesses.

[00:26:18] One time I found a pair of drawers.

[00:26:21] Not my drawers.

[00:26:23] Somebody else's drawers.

[00:26:24] In the bed.

[00:26:26] This is...

[00:26:27] You're quality in...

[00:26:28] In Dothan, Alabama.

[00:26:29] You assholes.

[00:26:30] Oh, I've...

[00:26:31] I've stayed at a hotel in Dothan, Alabama one time.

[00:26:36] Man.

[00:26:37] And there was like a Mexican restaurant right beside it.

[00:26:40] And the Krispy Kreme.

[00:26:41] I don't remember the name.

[00:26:42] But I've stayed at a hotel in Dothan, Alabama.

[00:26:46] Let me tell you something.

[00:26:47] But the whole...

[00:26:47] The hotel was so...

[00:26:49] So packed, they didn't have another room.

[00:26:51] Just for me to go to.

[00:26:53] And I just had to...

[00:26:54] Give me the...

[00:26:55] Come on, just give me the sheets.

[00:26:58] And you found somebody else's drawers in the sheet?

[00:27:02] Man.

[00:27:02] My wife...

[00:27:03] My wife put a leg up under the covers.

[00:27:06] We got under the covers.

[00:27:08] And normally we just check...

[00:27:09] Check it around the edge.

[00:27:10] Now I gotta strip the sheets and stuff off to make sure...

[00:27:13] And thoroughly inspect.

[00:27:15] The room seems...

[00:27:17] Moderately clean.

[00:27:18] You know, it seems clean.

[00:27:21] But...

[00:27:22] It's still not like an expensive hotel, so...

[00:27:26] But you find somebody else's drawers.

[00:27:28] You know, if you find drawers in the bed,

[00:27:31] that means...

[00:27:32] When do them drawers come out?

[00:27:34] Draws just don't come off in the bed.

[00:27:36] Somebody had them on their ass and they got hot.

[00:27:38] They're getting ready to do something.

[00:27:40] They're like, my balls are hot.

[00:27:42] Just take it off the door.

[00:27:44] Like that UFC fighter.

[00:27:46] My balls are hot.

[00:27:48] A clean pair of drawers don't get under the covers.

[00:27:51] It's Alabama in June.

[00:27:52] I gotta take these off.

[00:27:54] Man.

[00:27:58] That's...

[00:27:58] And they were sweating because...

[00:28:00] They got hot.

[00:28:03] Either that or they was getting ready...

[00:28:05] They was getting nasty time.

[00:28:07] To get these off of me.

[00:28:08] And they got pushed down to the bottom of the bed.

[00:28:11] You nasty assholes.

[00:28:15] That is nasty.

[00:28:18] Motherfucker.

[00:28:19] And you know, I would've...

[00:28:20] They be like, oh no.

[00:28:22] They gonna try to highlight these...

[00:28:23] No, these ain't my drawers.

[00:28:25] I don't even wear this size.

[00:28:26] Oh, they wasn't your size?

[00:28:28] I was about to say, if they're your size,

[00:28:29] you should've watched them and took them home with you.

[00:28:33] No, they ain't mine.

[00:28:34] That was a pair of underwear.

[00:28:36] I'm not...

[00:28:37] I'm not putting on nobody else's drawers.

[00:28:40] That's just...

[00:28:40] That's where the lines start.

[00:28:46] All you had to do was take them and watch them real quick.

[00:28:50] Isaiah.

[00:28:54] A free pair of boxers.

[00:28:57] Nah, I ain't messing around.

[00:28:59] You know how mentally that shit gonna fuck you up?

[00:29:01] You put somebody else's drawers on and they print bigger than yours.

[00:29:06] Now your drawers on and they fit bigger right now.

[00:29:11] You gotta know who...

[00:29:15] That's like one time.

[00:29:19] My family was staying at a beach house.

[00:29:24] At a beach house?

[00:29:25] Uh-huh.

[00:29:26] I think it was Emerald Isle maybe or Oak Island.

[00:29:29] I don't remember.

[00:29:31] Anyway...

[00:29:32] Man.

[00:29:32] My aunt, she was married to this guy named Mo at the time.

[00:29:38] Mo.

[00:29:39] And Mo was a 6'4", 250 football player, black guy.

[00:29:46] And he was looking through like the linen closets and stuff.

[00:29:51] And he found a bikini that had been left.

[00:29:56] But it looked like it belonged to like a 10-year-old or something.

[00:30:00] Like it was like a child bikini.

[00:30:03] And my uncle looks at him and goes, Mo, you need to put that bikini on and walk down in that bikini.

[00:30:12] So he put that bikini on and walked down.

[00:30:16] They said he had everything hanging out in that daggone 10-year-old bikini.

[00:30:23] Oh, Lord.

[00:30:29] Geez, um...

[00:30:30] They said you want to see...

[00:30:32] My uncle said you ever want to see anything funny?

[00:30:35] Just have him put on a bikini, a child-sized bikini.

[00:30:42] I see that.

[00:30:44] We ain't got the same humor.

[00:30:46] I don't want to see no...

[00:30:51] No grown man with his balls hanging out.

[00:30:55] Well, that's what happened at the Paralympics.

[00:31:00] That blue guy...

[00:31:01] Did you see that?

[00:31:04] Hey, uh...

[00:31:05] I said you got a lot of stories where people's balls fall out.

[00:31:13] And it must be sweeping the nation because...

[00:31:18] Like I said, it happened at the Paralympics.

[00:31:22] With all those...

[00:31:24] At the Paralympics.

[00:31:26] When all those drag queens was lined up.

[00:31:29] And they had that blue guy in the middle.

[00:31:31] And his balls was hanging out.

[00:31:35] On TV.

[00:31:36] I haven't seen...

[00:31:37] I haven't seen none of this.

[00:31:40] No, man.

[00:31:40] He was spray painted in blue.

[00:31:43] And he had everything hanging out.

[00:31:45] And, you know, there's controversy.

[00:31:47] Well, it's the Last Supper.

[00:31:48] Well, it's diagnosis.

[00:31:50] We need to focus on...

[00:31:51] Oh, I heard something where...

[00:31:53] I heard something about that where they were doing like...

[00:31:55] They had a...

[00:31:57] A Last Supper type deal.

[00:31:59] Mm-hmm.

[00:32:00] Oh, man.

[00:32:01] I ain't hip on tonight.

[00:32:03] I've been watching the news lately.

[00:32:05] I don't want...

[00:32:06] I only found out through Facebook because somebody posted it.

[00:32:10] And then a comedian friend of mine, you know, mentioned that.

[00:32:14] Like, why are we bringing this up when this dude's dick was hanging out on live TV?

[00:32:25] And he...

[00:32:25] Like I said, he was spray painted blue.

[00:32:28] So he brought like a whole new meaning to BBC.

[00:32:35] Big blue.

[00:32:37] Big blue.

[00:32:42] Oh, man.

[00:32:45] We got...

[00:32:46] Man.

[00:32:47] Yeah, man.

[00:32:47] We got going on, man.

[00:32:49] I don't watch the news.

[00:32:50] This is the thing.

[00:32:51] I'm...

[00:32:52] More now.

[00:32:53] I'm starting to.

[00:32:54] Right.

[00:32:55] That's good.

[00:32:55] Well, I don't keep up with the news a lot either.

[00:32:58] Like a lot of...

[00:32:59] Or like...

[00:32:59] A lot of breaking news that I see is something that somebody shared on Facebook.

[00:33:05] Like...

[00:33:05] Oh, for real?

[00:33:06] That's where you get all your news?

[00:33:07] I get it.

[00:33:07] I get it.

[00:33:08] Social media.

[00:33:10] So...

[00:33:10] But most of the time, like I'm watching streaming services and stuff instead of watching

[00:33:15] the news.

[00:33:16] Mm-hmm.

[00:33:17] And last time I did John Reap's podcast, we talked about it, about should streaming services

[00:33:24] do like breaking news announcements?

[00:33:27] Like if you're watching Netflix, should there be like a red strip that comes on the bottom

[00:33:33] that says breaking news, you know, something, something happened?

[00:33:39] See, I think that's the thing.

[00:33:41] You...

[00:33:42] If you do that, you have to...

[00:33:46] Maybe you should set it up where you could have like...

[00:33:48] You could turn it on and off if you want that type stuff.

[00:33:51] Because what you're going to presume is breaking news.

[00:33:53] That ain't breaking news to me.

[00:33:56] Like...

[00:33:58] Breaking news.

[00:34:00] I'm like all of that, it ain't going to necessarily matter to me.

[00:34:03] Right.

[00:34:04] So I need to have...

[00:34:05] Be able to turn that on and off.

[00:34:07] I feel...

[00:34:08] I don't think it's necessary for streaming services to do breaking news announcements.

[00:34:13] Because I like to be oblivious.

[00:34:15] Like even if there's like a nuclear war going on and I'm watching Netflix, I don't want to

[00:34:21] know about it.

[00:34:22] Just let me be happy and watch my Netflix while I still...

[00:34:25] Yeah, you know...

[00:34:27] Okay, so this is a great...

[00:34:28] This is a great question.

[00:34:29] So I got...

[00:34:30] I'm gonna ask you this.

[00:34:32] I often...

[00:34:32] I asked my wife, I was like, yo, so when is a good time to give somebody some bad news?

[00:34:38] Right.

[00:34:39] Like, when is the best time?

[00:34:40] Like you call like...

[00:34:42] Like people just recently, man.

[00:34:44] It's actually my aunt's funeral is today in El Ramon.

[00:34:49] I've just been exhausted traveling and stuff coming back.

[00:34:53] I can't go there.

[00:34:55] And I don't like going to futiles anyway.

[00:34:56] But I say this, like my mom called and told me that my aunt passed away, like right...

[00:35:03] Right before her show.

[00:35:05] Like right...

[00:35:06] Like she didn't know that I was going on stage then at that time.

[00:35:10] But it's the thing like, yo, how do you play?

[00:35:15] Do you ask somebody, hey, you got...

[00:35:17] You want some bad news right now?

[00:35:19] Can you stand some...

[00:35:20] Or you just drop it on them?

[00:35:21] Right then and there, it is what it is.

[00:35:23] I would rather like just have it dropped on me.

[00:35:26] That way I don't have to like really think about it.

[00:35:29] Like if I'm getting ready to do something, just drop it on me.

[00:35:32] Then and there.

[00:35:33] And then I'll think about it later.

[00:35:36] Like if I'm...

[00:35:37] Right then and there.

[00:35:38] Right.

[00:35:38] Like if I'm doing comedy and you're like, oh, your aunt died.

[00:35:43] I'll be like, okay, time to go on stage.

[00:35:45] And then we'll think about it later.

[00:35:47] Oh man, so like it wouldn't matter like if it was your mom.

[00:35:51] Oh yeah, now if it was my mom, that's a different story.

[00:35:54] If it was my mom, like I would stop bedding my tracks.

[00:35:58] I mean there's a hierarchy of like family members.

[00:36:05] Hey, you ain't lying though.

[00:36:07] Right?

[00:36:08] Like if it was, if somebody said, oh, your fourth cousin that you've only met a couple

[00:36:14] times just passed away.

[00:36:17] You go ahead and play on Netflix.

[00:36:19] Right.

[00:36:19] I'm going to play on Netflix.

[00:36:22] He going to pause it for a second.

[00:36:24] I'm going to pause it for a second and be like, oh, that sucks.

[00:36:26] So you can go pee.

[00:36:28] It ain't even...

[00:36:29] He's like somebody got told you this.

[00:36:31] You didn't stop to take a moment.

[00:36:33] Isaiah stopped to go pee.

[00:36:34] Give me a second.

[00:36:36] Come back.

[00:36:36] What you said again?

[00:36:38] Oh.

[00:36:38] Give me a second.

[00:36:39] I got to go drain the main vein.

[00:36:41] Okay.

[00:36:42] What'd you say?

[00:36:44] You come back, start the show right up.

[00:36:46] He's like, all right.

[00:36:48] What y'all going to do about it?

[00:36:49] Yeah.

[00:36:50] What's the plan here?

[00:36:51] Man.

[00:36:53] That's really kind of wild though.

[00:36:54] When you think about it, you're a cold piece of shit I think.

[00:37:00] Not that place.

[00:37:01] We all do that man.

[00:37:02] It's kind of true though.

[00:37:04] I mean there is like a higher up.

[00:37:05] I mean, I mean, everybody kind of do that.

[00:37:08] Like if I was to be like, Ray, you're a fifth cousin that lives in, I don't know, Denver,

[00:37:15] Colorado.

[00:37:15] You've only met him once.

[00:37:16] He just passed away.

[00:37:18] You probably wouldn't have the same reaction if it was like, you know.

[00:37:21] Of course not.

[00:37:22] I didn't.

[00:37:24] Man, that does, man.

[00:37:25] I'm like, oh shit.

[00:37:27] I mean, some of them, like I've had people, but I've then also had like people that I've

[00:37:32] had someone pass like the, I don't know.

[00:37:35] I met dude, David A. Arnold.

[00:37:39] I met dude for, we worked like five shows together.

[00:37:41] Now over for like a month or so before he passed away.

[00:37:47] And then, but it was just so close to seeing somebody talking and then like, oh shit.

[00:37:52] Right.

[00:37:53] That he was gone.

[00:37:55] You know, you got a chance to, you know, talk with somebody and you're like, I go, I'm

[00:37:58] talking to you like, oh shit.

[00:38:00] If, I mean, one of my past, wait, I'm just talking to him.

[00:38:04] I mean, maybe not you Isaiah, I know your piece of shit, but it would affect me.

[00:38:12] Yeah.

[00:38:13] Yeah.

[00:38:13] Now that, that would affect me.

[00:38:15] Like if it was like somebody that I was just talking to the day before and they're

[00:38:20] like, oh, something happened to him.

[00:38:21] I'd be like, oh crap.

[00:38:23] You know?

[00:38:24] It's all.

[00:38:25] But if it's somebody that I haven't like thought about in a while or, you know.

[00:38:30] Hey man, I'm gonna do my best to say, oh, be my man.

[00:38:37] Say, oh.

[00:38:41] Hey.

[00:38:41] That is mean to me though to say that, but I mean, we all do it.

[00:38:46] There's some people out here.

[00:38:47] Ain't we the awesome?

[00:38:49] I mean, sometimes you can see people get into an accident and then people just be like,

[00:38:53] oh shit, get on around that shit.

[00:38:55] Right.

[00:38:59] They're not like, oh, should we call the cops?

[00:39:03] They're like, no, we got Arby's getting cold.

[00:39:06] We need to hurry up and then.

[00:39:09] We don't want our roast beef sandwiches getting cold.

[00:39:13] I'm gonna eat ice cream.

[00:39:14] My ice cream, no.

[00:39:18] They just licking their rocket on us.

[00:39:22] We gotta make it.

[00:39:23] I can't cry, my ice cream's running down my face.

[00:39:28] Hey man, it's the hardest people out here.

[00:39:30] Right.

[00:39:31] Now like with the wrecking stuff, I'll like, you know, I can't be like, oh, let's get around

[00:39:37] this, you know.

[00:39:40] All right.

[00:39:41] Like I'll be like, oh, that's, you know, like it hurts to see that.

[00:39:46] Yeah.

[00:39:48] Yeah.

[00:39:48] All right, man.

[00:39:50] Yeah.

[00:39:50] I mean, that's the thing.

[00:39:51] I've been in a lot of bad accidents.

[00:39:53] So that's the, it's always a little bit different for me.

[00:39:56] So I be helping people and shit.

[00:39:59] So.

[00:40:03] Yeah, man.

[00:40:04] But that's the, I don't know.

[00:40:05] It's a, I guess it all depends on if you, if it's happened to you, then that's when

[00:40:12] you're more sympathetic to it.

[00:40:16] Until then, isn't it?

[00:40:21] Until then I'm honking the horn.

[00:40:23] Get the F out of the way.

[00:40:25] He's starting to show back.

[00:40:30] You'd be mad that you made me miss some of it.

[00:40:34] Now I gotta rewind it.

[00:40:36] I just missed my show.

[00:40:38] And I'd especially be pissed if it was like wrestling or Cobra Kai or something.

[00:40:43] I might be like, I just missed wrestling.

[00:40:45] You're a huge Cobra Kai fan.

[00:40:48] Oh, I love Cobra Kai.

[00:40:50] Okay.

[00:40:51] First of all, do you, do you know any more martial arts?

[00:40:54] I know zero martial arts.

[00:40:58] So you over there studying moves.

[00:41:00] Yeah.

[00:41:00] I'm watching Cobra Kai.

[00:41:01] I'd be like, sweep the leg, sweep the leg, sweep the leg.

[00:41:06] I'll be gearing up for the crane kick and stuff.

[00:41:12] But yeah, I know zero martial arts, but I love, love, love Cobra Kai.

[00:41:17] I think I saw the first season and like, it was all right.

[00:41:22] I just hadn't yet a chance to, to, to watch any more of the episodes.

[00:41:29] And like, I'd be missing a lot of the shows.

[00:41:31] Like I thought the only thing that I'd probably watch now cause it's late and I don't be wanting

[00:41:34] to, is this show called alone?

[00:41:37] I've seen some pieces of that.

[00:41:40] It's a wilderness show.

[00:41:41] It's just people outside cooking and sleeping in the tent.

[00:41:46] That's pretty much it.

[00:41:47] That sounds very riveting.

[00:41:51] Very riveting.

[00:41:56] That's the whole show is just them sleeping in the tent, cooking pork and beans.

[00:42:02] And then that's it.

[00:42:05] Well, it's more so they are, they're trying to figure out like,

[00:42:10] they don't get, have anything.

[00:42:11] They just drop them off by themselves with cameras.

[00:42:14] Oh, so they have their own food.

[00:42:16] They don't even like a can of something to be like.

[00:42:20] No, no, no.

[00:42:21] You don't, you don't have anything.

[00:42:23] Like you have like five items.

[00:42:25] Uh, well you get like a tent and a sleeping bag, but, and like, not even a tent.

[00:42:29] It's a, a tarp, a tarp, a sleeping bag.

[00:42:34] And then you got your clothes and then you got to make, and I'm thinking like a knife

[00:42:37] and a saw, like stuff to cut with.

[00:42:40] But other than that, you got in some, like, not even a fishing pole, just the, like some line.

[00:42:46] Like wire.

[00:42:48] And that's what they, you have to stay out there.

[00:42:50] Some people be staying for like a hundred days.

[00:42:52] They build a lot of cabins and.

[00:42:55] I couldn't do that.

[00:42:56] They be making, they be hunting their food and I'm like, and they like shoot with bow and arrows.

[00:43:01] But they, cause you only get like nine arrows.

[00:43:03] How long do you think you could last out there like that?

[00:43:08] In the wilderness?

[00:43:09] Afternoon?

[00:43:11] After five hours.

[00:43:12] Soon those mosquitoes get, soon those mosquitoes get the hitting.

[00:43:15] I'm like, man, I ain't, I ain't.

[00:43:17] You're tapping out.

[00:43:19] I'm tapping out.

[00:43:20] Hey man, let me see.

[00:43:21] They had one episode and I had seen, generally this is the majority, of course, this is white people show.

[00:43:27] Black people ain't do it, but I started to see some black people.

[00:43:30] I saw one black dude.

[00:43:32] And I don't think it was like season two.

[00:43:34] He was talking trash.

[00:43:35] And he's like, yeah, man, we dropping off in bad territory.

[00:43:38] He like, he was in the military.

[00:43:39] He's like, man, if you, if you see a bear, man, if I see a bear, y'all better help the bear.

[00:43:44] I was like, man, when he got out there, the first episode, first like five minutes, they drop him off.

[00:43:52] And I think he took maybe like, maybe a hundred yards and then he said, oh man.

[00:43:57] And he got into the woods and then he's like, oh man, that's basket.

[00:44:00] I got to get out of here.

[00:44:02] He went back to the beach.

[00:44:04] I would laugh.

[00:44:05] I would laugh for about 10 seconds.

[00:44:09] If I couldn't watch like my Netflix, I'd be like, fuck this.

[00:44:13] I'm out of here.

[00:44:14] Take me back.

[00:44:18] Take me back to civilization.

[00:44:19] Not like I used to.

[00:44:20] I used to walk through the woods and, and, and hunt and fish.

[00:44:25] Well, I'm not still fishing now, but I ain't doing it in so long.

[00:44:29] We'll be out there.

[00:44:29] There's no, I get my, I get my food from your grocery store.

[00:44:34] Yeah.

[00:44:34] I get mine.

[00:44:35] All of my food come with instructions.

[00:44:36] Right.

[00:44:39] It got a, it got a timing button on it.

[00:44:43] On my food.

[00:44:44] It's like preheat oven at 375 microwave for two minutes.

[00:44:51] Yeah, man.

[00:44:53] Well, no, I mean, that's the, I've been watching some of this.

[00:44:56] I mean, I, I, I'm just playing.

[00:44:57] I mean, I'll do some, like I'll fish sometimes here and there.

[00:45:00] I wasn't used to be using the fishing, but you know, you get some stuff, you be working on other stuff.

[00:45:05] You don't get a chance to do it like you used to.

[00:45:07] Right.

[00:45:08] But that's the, I enjoy watching it so I can still, I don't know.

[00:45:13] Cause do you know, like the different plants and stuff that are outside your house?

[00:45:19] Some plants I can tell, but then there's some that I'm like, I don't know what these are.

[00:45:24] Yeah.

[00:45:25] Like this is what they're doing in the show.

[00:45:27] They walk it through and they like, yeah, I know this is such and such plant.

[00:45:31] And it does.

[00:45:32] And he'll take it and bite it.

[00:45:34] Wait, they'll bite it.

[00:45:36] They'll bite the plant.

[00:45:37] I mean, they, they eating all the food.

[00:45:39] That's picking up stuff, mushrooms and blueberries.

[00:45:42] What if they get like the wrong plant or the wrong mushroom?

[00:45:46] And then you just see him over there in the corner, just passed out.

[00:45:49] They, that's it.

[00:45:51] They got an emergency button.

[00:45:53] So you better get sick.

[00:45:54] Or they go.

[00:45:54] I think every, every so often, like the, there's a crew, emergency crews, like way off on the other side of a lake.

[00:46:03] Or something where they, uh, probably a few miles or something down the road.

[00:46:08] But, but I mean, so far.

[00:46:09] And what if they're like too late and the people or the person has done made it to the upper room?

[00:46:16] You just said the upper room.

[00:46:19] What are they going to do?

[00:46:20] They're going to come and film your dad ass.

[00:46:22] The upper room.

[00:46:25] The upper room.

[00:46:26] Cause look, they got bears out there.

[00:46:28] Like they got.

[00:46:29] Yeah.

[00:46:29] What if somebody gets mauled by a bear and, uh, they get there too late.

[00:46:33] It's just.

[00:46:34] They signed the waiver.

[00:46:39] No people will come out with one little single sheet of paper at the court.

[00:46:44] He knew what was going to happen.

[00:46:48] That's it.

[00:46:49] And they're going to show that episode as a commercial.

[00:46:54] No, actually that would be a good episode.

[00:46:57] Like if somebody just got mauled to death by a bear.

[00:47:01] I'd be watching.

[00:47:02] They give them probably.

[00:47:03] I think they give them like some bear, a horn and some bear spray.

[00:47:07] Like, but you guys are horn is a bear spray.

[00:47:10] If that, if that pepper and that, uh, and that sound don't, don't make them terrified.

[00:47:18] Then you about to be lunch.

[00:47:20] Right.

[00:47:21] You, you about to end up a bear turd in the middle of nowhere.

[00:47:24] That's what's about to happen.

[00:47:27] Yeah.

[00:47:27] You going to be a bear.

[00:47:27] Like this.

[00:47:29] Yeah, man.

[00:47:30] Like this one, uh, one episode, like a bear came up to the ears of the tent,

[00:47:34] came up to the tent and you know, they got to throw the extra, extra music in there.

[00:47:38] Oh, the little production music.

[00:47:44] Everybody.

[00:47:45] And then they change it to the next episode.

[00:47:47] And then the bear went away.

[00:47:51] But yeah, my stepdad, he likes alone.

[00:47:54] And like I said, I've seen bits and pieces.

[00:47:57] I like, like the 30 minute shows, like real quick.

[00:48:01] Just, you know, you can binge watch them just one after the other.

[00:48:05] And that's what I like about Cobra Kai is every episode is like 35, 40 minutes and you can just

[00:48:11] watch.

[00:48:12] Yeah.

[00:48:12] You can watch them real quick.

[00:48:15] Like, it's like a old, like 80s show.

[00:48:17] Kinda like how they was like 35 ish minutes.

[00:48:22] Cobra Kai is the same way.

[00:48:24] So that's a good time thing.

[00:48:26] Right.

[00:48:26] And I think Cobra Kai, and I know a lot of people are going to hate me for this.

[00:48:33] Cobra Kai and Outer Banks are the two best shows on Netflix.

[00:48:38] I know there's a lot of.

[00:48:40] Cobra Kai and Outer Banks.

[00:48:41] Hmm.

[00:48:45] I love.

[00:48:45] How much you got?

[00:48:46] Both of those shows.

[00:48:46] What is Outer Banks?

[00:48:47] Outer Banks is like a treasure hunting show.

[00:48:50] But like all the care, all like the main characters in the show are in like their late

[00:48:55] teens and stuff.

[00:48:57] So it's about a bunch of like 17 and 18 year olds trying to find treasure and fighting

[00:49:05] bad guys and stuff.

[00:49:07] And it's a good show.

[00:49:08] And it's all set in like bullet.

[00:49:10] It's set in the Outer Banks, but it's filmed in Charleston, I think so.

[00:49:17] Hmm.

[00:49:19] In Charleston.

[00:49:20] Okay.

[00:49:21] Like last season they found the El Dorado.

[00:49:26] So they found like this lost city that's full of gold.

[00:49:30] And then the season before that, they found something else.

[00:49:33] And it's a good show.

[00:49:35] It's adventurous.

[00:49:36] Yeah.

[00:49:37] It's adventurous.

[00:49:38] And there's a lot of like drama around it because we're their teens.

[00:49:44] They play on that too.

[00:49:45] But at the heart of it, it's just like a action treasure hunting adventure show.

[00:49:52] Hmm.

[00:49:53] That's kind of like this show.

[00:49:54] I was watching the Where is the Mole?

[00:49:57] I think Who is the Mole?

[00:49:59] On Netflix too.

[00:50:00] That's one of the shows.

[00:50:01] Look, they're trying to some, there's a group of people lying, trying to get some money.

[00:50:07] They are one person in the group.

[00:50:09] They're doing like these challenges and he's different like Malaysian and different places

[00:50:14] and they going through caves and all type of stuff.

[00:50:18] And then, uh, uh, or they like propelling down a building or some shit.

[00:50:25] And then, but they, they doing all this, these, uh, these different, uh, tasks and these to earn money.

[00:50:32] And then there's someone in the group that is trying, that is the Mole and they trying to sabotage,

[00:50:38] which would make them lose money out of their pot.

[00:50:42] And so each, each, and then it's kind of like a game of Clue too.

[00:50:45] So you got to try to figure out who the Mole is.

[00:50:47] Gotcha.

[00:50:48] It's a pretty cool show, man.

[00:50:49] Like, kept my attention.

[00:50:52] And it's on Netflix.

[00:50:54] I'll have to check that out.

[00:50:55] It's on Netflix.

[00:50:57] Y'all have to check that out.

[00:51:00] But, well, yeah, that's pretty much a, I mean, between this, uh, for the last few weeks, man, I got some exciting news.

[00:51:08] Got some exciting news.

[00:51:09] I don't even know when it's going to drop, but I got some exciting news.

[00:51:12] It's going to probably drop before December, but December 22nd, 2024.

[00:51:20] I got, I met the Comedy Zone in Charlotte, North Carolina.

[00:51:24] I'm headlining the club.

[00:51:25] Uh, and I'm also planning on shooting a special of some sort there.

[00:51:31] So y'all pull up.

[00:51:34] Yeah.

[00:51:35] And you said this December 22nd, 2024.

[00:51:40] Yeah.

[00:51:40] It's a Sunday.

[00:51:41] Gotcha.

[00:51:43] Show starts at 6 PM.

[00:51:46] Gotcha.

[00:51:47] Doors open at 5 PM.

[00:51:48] I just got the details.

[00:51:50] Um, I guess this is a, now a good time to even just, uh, put it out there, start it.

[00:51:54] It's like, what, July now?

[00:51:57] Go ahead and promote it.

[00:51:58] I mean.

[00:51:59] Yeah.

[00:52:00] I got to start promoting it.

[00:52:01] Uh, like, uh, I saw, uh, who was that?

[00:52:05] I saw somebody who was like Chris Rock was going to be somewhere in February.

[00:52:08] I said February.

[00:52:12] How far out is like, should you be promoting stuff?

[00:52:16] Cause that February, that's a little like.

[00:52:19] I don't know.

[00:52:21] I don't know.

[00:52:21] That's what I'm trying to.

[00:52:22] I don't know.

[00:52:23] I mean, I've seen Chris do it and I see other people.

[00:52:26] I'm like.

[00:52:28] I mean, I feel like if it's like still the same year.

[00:52:33] I mean, that seems fine.

[00:52:35] But if you're like promoting a year out in advance, it's a little.

[00:52:40] But they, that's the thing is that's, that's what they do it for movies summer 2025.

[00:52:46] You be like, what?

[00:52:48] I can't wait to see that movie.

[00:52:49] Right.

[00:52:50] They did the same thing with Deadpool and Wolverine.

[00:52:53] Like they promoted it in like 2023.

[00:52:56] I'm like, I want to say it now.

[00:52:57] I don't want to have to wait that long.

[00:53:01] Yeah.

[00:53:01] So that's the thing is you letting them know well ahead of time.

[00:53:06] And then I guess somewhere in the middle, you got to start ramping it up to, to coming.

[00:53:12] Oh man, we got to get our tickets.

[00:53:15] So they put it, put them on notice, I guess.

[00:53:18] Right.

[00:53:21] And 40, 46, 20, 46.

[00:53:26] Like what?

[00:53:28] In 2046, Jaws 18 is coming out.

[00:53:32] Let y'all niggas know right now.

[00:53:41] It might be, it might be 20 years from now, but go ahead and get your damn tickets.

[00:53:46] The tickets will be much more expensive then.

[00:53:49] Could you imagine how much a movie ticket is going to cost in like 2046?

[00:53:56] What?

[00:53:57] Could you imagine the cost of a daggone movie ticket by then?

[00:54:01] And 2046, a movie ticket is going to cost a piece of ass.

[00:54:08] You're going to have to give up something.

[00:54:09] You're going to be like, hey baby, will you get me in to see this new movie?

[00:54:13] I really want to see it.

[00:54:15] They're not going to, the price is going to be so high.

[00:54:18] Do you know how much stuff costs now?

[00:54:21] Man.

[00:54:23] 2046.

[00:54:24] It's expensive now.

[00:54:25] Could you, I mean, in the future, like it's going to cost like 40 bucks just to see a daggone superhero movie.

[00:54:34] What?

[00:54:35] I don't know.

[00:54:37] But yeah, you're right.

[00:54:38] It's going to cost a piece of ass.

[00:54:39] That's what it's going to cost.

[00:54:41] I don't know.

[00:54:46] 2046, that's hard to think about it.

[00:54:47] Right.

[00:54:49] Yeah, that is a while down the road, but I mean, you know, that's...

[00:54:52] Maybe like 20 years from now.

[00:54:55] Like, you say you're 23?

[00:54:57] Yeah, 23.

[00:54:58] You're going to be 23.

[00:55:01] You done went through all your 20s and 30s.

[00:55:03] Right.

[00:55:04] I didn't skip through all of that.

[00:55:09] That's a long time.

[00:55:10] You still going to get there though.

[00:55:12] You going to see...

[00:55:13] Now me, I drink a lot.

[00:55:17] Maybe.

[00:55:18] Wait, so how old are you going to be 20 years from now?

[00:55:22] 20 years from now, I'm going to be 57.

[00:55:26] No, 58.

[00:55:28] So see, like you could...

[00:55:30] You'll still be around in 2046 to see how much a movie ticket's costing.

[00:55:36] I'm trying to get in shape now, so maybe.

[00:55:40] Trying to live a healthier life.

[00:55:42] But yo, you'll have to like donate an arm and a leg just to see some kind of comedy movie.

[00:55:48] You'll have to...

[00:55:51] Look, it's going to be just that.

[00:55:53] The movie's going to be so expensive that we're going to be able to have to send one person to watch and they're going to have to come back and tell us about the movie.

[00:56:02] It's going to be...

[00:56:03] Everything 20 years from now is going to be so expensive that we'll have to bring back the bartering system like in the 1800s and stuff.

[00:56:13] Man.

[00:56:14] As soon as this AI hit, none of us are going to have no job.

[00:56:19] We're going to be like, here's my cow.

[00:56:21] Let me go see this.

[00:56:24] Man, we ain't none of us going to have no job.

[00:56:28] Right.

[00:56:28] Now look, if y'all want to see a movie, this is what people at home are going to see this.

[00:56:33] If y'all want to see a movie, send me.

[00:56:34] I'll come back and tell y'all all about it.

[00:56:38] You'll do movie reviews for everybody.

[00:56:41] Just give Ray a movie and he'll go for you.

[00:56:46] And I'll do the same thing.

[00:56:47] I'll go for people too.

[00:56:49] That way you don't have to see it.

[00:56:51] Just give me a ticket and I'll go and watch it over.

[00:56:55] You know, that's what's going to happen.

[00:56:57] It's going to revert back.

[00:56:58] We're going to be listening to...

[00:56:59] I mean, I already listened to books on tape, on audio.

[00:57:04] We're going to be listening to movies and shows on radio like they did in the 30s.

[00:57:10] Break out the radio and have to tune it to some station.

[00:57:16] Nah, it's not going to go back like that.

[00:57:19] It can't because there's too many people right now that already make their own content.

[00:57:25] We're just going to be watching homegrown content like we do now.

[00:57:28] Just some lady in the house cooking something.

[00:57:33] But yeah, if somebody wants to go see a movie, just pay me and I'll go see it for you.

[00:57:38] Especially if it's a dirty flick.

[00:57:40] If it's a skin flick, I'm doing nasty.

[00:57:45] You're going to get scabies again.

[00:57:50] In the theater.

[00:57:52] If it's a skin flick, I'll jump up real quick and be like, I'll see it for you.

[00:57:56] Nah, I know where the scabies went.

[00:57:58] You want to go to the movies and see a nasty movie?

[00:58:01] You and 40 other horny people in the back with popcorn.

[00:58:08] I'll see girl gone wild for you preacher.

[00:58:19] I was here to come back so there were some big tits, right?

[00:58:22] That's how I remember.

[00:58:24] There was big tits.

[00:58:25] That's it.

[00:58:29] But look, man, I think that's it for me today, man.

[00:58:33] I got running close on time.

[00:58:36] I do have to show you something real quick.

[00:58:39] So I got this record the other day.

[00:58:45] You got what?

[00:58:46] A record.

[00:58:49] Like, oh, word.

[00:58:51] Is that your people's record?

[00:58:53] Yes, sir.

[00:58:55] That's cool.

[00:58:56] So I pre-ordered it.

[00:58:59] I've been into that.

[00:59:00] I'm going to add them to my album music right now.

[00:59:17] 49 Winchester.

[00:59:18] I like country music, so I'm going to check them out.

[00:59:25] I pre-ordered it and it came in the mail the 26th, I think.

[00:59:32] Which album is that?

[00:59:34] It's Leaving This Hard.

[00:59:39] But now if you didn't pre-order it.

[00:59:43] No, I can still hear a few songs on Fast Asleep.

[00:59:49] That sounds like something I'd listen to.

[00:59:51] That's actually a slow song and they use the Czech orchestra from Czech Republic to play like violins and stuff in the song.

[01:00:04] But now the album drops August the 2nd.

[01:00:12] That's when.

[01:00:12] August the 2nd.

[01:00:13] Yeah, so if you didn't, if people didn't pre-order it, then August the 2nd is when it comes out.

[01:00:23] Man, I'm going to listen to what I can listen to and I'm going to check out.

[01:00:26] Man, we should see if we can, you say we can get them on the show?

[01:00:29] Oh, I think we can get them on the show.

[01:00:31] Because I'm pretty sure when like our first episode drops, he'll listen and then when this episode drops, he'll listen to this.

[01:00:42] And I'm pretty sure we'll, we could get them on the show.

[01:00:47] I've been unlisted to more of that music by then because I, I didn't listen to, I listened to so much music and so many different varieties of music.

[01:00:56] I do too.

[01:00:57] So that's my, like you, like the Billboard 100, I think you had, yeah, Simi, like Shibuzi was it, country music.

[01:01:08] Yeah, he was number one, a bar song.

[01:01:11] That was like number one on the charts.

[01:01:14] Yep.

[01:01:15] And somebody at work the other day was like, I haven't heard it yet.

[01:01:18] I'm like, how haven't you heard it yet?

[01:01:19] It's everywhere.

[01:01:24] I don't know.

[01:01:24] That's what it is, man.

[01:01:26] It's a, it's starting to, people starting to cross over in the music.

[01:01:29] So into the different genres of music.

[01:01:32] Well, that's how my cousin is like they're 49 Winchester at heart.

[01:01:37] They are a country band, but like when you hear the guitar solos and stuff, you get, you don't get like a country vibe.

[01:01:44] And then when you hear their piano player, you don't get like a country vibe.

[01:01:48] So it's all these different styles of music coming together to create ultimately at the end of the day, country music.

[01:01:59] Yep.

[01:02:01] That's what's up.

[01:02:02] So yeah, folks, pre-order, leaving this holler.

[01:02:08] Thanks for listening to the unplanned and unashamed podcast.

[01:02:11] If you like what you've heard, make sure to subscribe, rate, review, and follow.
