[00:00:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Hey everybody it's me Kathleen Madigan welcome to Madigan's Pubcast. You grab

[00:00:13] [SPEAKER_00]: yourself a drink, pull up a bar stool, let's talk about what's been going on.

[00:00:30] [SPEAKER_01]: It is episode 193. How fun is that? Isn't that crazy? What are we drinking? Well

[00:00:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm double-dipping today. I had a taste for a Bloody Mary. I got up

[00:00:44] [SPEAKER_01]: very early to do a bunch of press and I don't know why. And then I want a beer

[00:00:48] [SPEAKER_01]: back. The beer, it's uh, I have another beer just in case. This one, yeah this is

[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_01]: from a term a senior termite. Oh yeah a sermite. A sermite if you will. Named Kathy.

[00:01:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a chocolate golden stout from Big Oyster Brewery in Loose

[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Delaware. I think I'm saying that right. Lose? Where do you live? Lose. I live in Lose.

[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Let me put my phone over here. And then I got a regular beer to back. But what's in the

[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Bloody Mary, this is crazy and I have to read you guys this description. So the

[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_01]: vodka, well this was given to me by termites Trina and Mike. Wait till, I'm

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_01]: saving this. I don't think my sister, I don't know if my sister-in-law listens to

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_01]: this podcast but she's from Philly and they have a thing there called Scrapple.

[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Well she found it in a frozen food section in Missouri and just lost her

[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_01]: mind. She was so so fucking excited and the rest of us that aren't from there

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_01]: were like mmm okay yeah well I'm glad you like it.

[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_01]: What, so this is Scrapple vodka? It's in your Bloody Mary. I know it tastes great.

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean I don't have a problem. This is what they should do with all their Scrapple.

[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Make vodka out of it. What is it? Because if you've never

[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_01]: spent time in the Philadelphia area probably or Pennsylvania really, I'm gonna

[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_01]: tell you what it is. It's a pork based meat product that is officially

[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_01]: classified as a mush. Well I don't mind it. It's like hash. It's like hash. Kinda.

[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Mush is a cornmeal based pudding that is boiled, set and then sliced and often

[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_01]: pan-fried. There are mushes out there that are more bread like but Scrapple is

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_01]: meaty. It looks like gray meatloaf. Who in the fuck would describe their product

[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_01]: as looking like gray meatloaf? You slice it and fry it in a pan. As it cooks the outside

[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_01]: turns crisp while the brown center stays soft. It is most commonly served as a

[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_01]: breakfast meat. I've had it in the Reading Terminal Market. There's a really great

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_01]: breakfast place in there. It's also where I saw Greg Olson, the commentator

[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_01]: walked by me and I was like oh wow isn't he something? Former tight end.

[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Seahawks. Right. I forgot about that. Anyway it's commonly served as a

[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_01]: breakfast meat. Lots of people eat it with ketchup but I've also seen it with

[00:03:20] [SPEAKER_01]: mustard slathered in something like sweet also like jelly or apple butter.

[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Where did it originate? It has a unique association with the Pennsylvania Dutch.

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_01]: A German ethnic group who immigrated from the United States starting in the

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_01]: 17th century. By the way everybody in South St. Louis who would sweep their

[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_01]: porches a lot, this is just old-school racism. My dad would go look at those

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_01]: scrubby Pennsylvania Dutch. I was like exactly. It means like I was like nine

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_01]: and I'm like what's a scrubby? The Pennsylvania Dutch and it's not a

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_01]: they're neat freaks. I don't know why my dad judged that so harshly and I liked

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_01]: that his racism was about races that nobody even discusses anymore. His

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_01]: racism was outdated. That's how old. Look at those scrubby Pennsylvania Dutch. I'm like dad who cares?

[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway I got up so it's the Pennsylvania Dutch. They initially settled around

[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Lancaster. If you'd like to see tons of Amish people go to Lancaster. They

[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_01]: eventually spread west into Ohio and Indiana and south into Delaware, New

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Jersey and Maryland. The Amish and Mennonites are subsections of the

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Pennsylvania Dutch. I actually know an Amish person who became a comedian. His

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_01]: name is Chris Voth in Denver. He was Amish. No I'm not kidding. Yeah because there was

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_01]: another comedian that didn't know him and was like yeah what's up with that

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Chris guy? He's funny and stuff. He's very funny. He goes he's funny and stuff but

[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_01]: backstage sometimes it's a little awkward. I'm like well he was Amish.

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_01]: He's not quite all in yet. Give him time. It's gonna take about 30 years for him to

[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_01]: assimilate properly or maybe Chris was just like that anyway. I don't find him

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_01]: awkward. It was just a comedian said it to me. It made me laugh because I thought

[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_01]: he was implying like...anyway so Scrapple Vodka. Thank you for that. Now I have a

[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_01]: new Christmas present idea for my sister-in-law. She'll be so excited.

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah Dory doesn't know about it. She's Philly through and through too. And look

[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Kristen and her very cool son Thomas got me this. It's a sad trombone for sad

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_01]: stories. If it's a frightening or alarming story you get the goat.

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_01]: But and then Mike and Trina brought me a Christmas screaming goat but I'm

[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_01]: not opening that till the holidays. Yeah that will not...I know it's adorable. I

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_01]: wonder what he's gonna scream. Just scream? But he's got a sweater on so it

[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_01]: counts as Christmas. They do look alike. Yeah well I'm not opening that. I'm gonna wait

[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_01]: till Thanksgiving. That's the official start of the Christmas season. Also

[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_01]: before we get going here we have a new t-shirt. Turbines. It's on the website.

[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Everybody keeps quoting this joke so I thought fine it says Madigan's podcast

[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_01]: on the front it has a mermaid and then the back says I don't know somebody saw

[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_01]: one once and there's a mermaid. Yeah that's that's an old joke but everybody

[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_01]: seems to like it so it's a black t-shirt with cool accent colors. Thank you.

[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_01]: They're on the website. Sometimes I take merch to a town but it's not very often

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_01]: because it's a pain in the ass quite frankly. And then if you're gonna commit

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_01]: to it you got to have a whole truck and a person and everybody's merch guy is

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_01]: always weird. Yeah yeah sorry merch guys but except Louis Blacks. So Louis went to

[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_01]: grade school he's known Lenny since they were like in fifth grade or

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_01]: something like grade school and then Lenny retired and Lou's like well hey do

[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_01]: you want to just go for fun out on the road and you know you'll get paid. Lenny's

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_01]: retired he's fine he doesn't need the money and Lenny was like yeah I'd love

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_01]: to do it I want to go see the country blah blah blah. So Lenny what was an editor

[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_01]: and a journalist and worked for like the Washington Post and all this crazy shit.

[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah yeah Lenny yeah and then my friend Jim was over at my house and he goes is

[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_01]: that Lou's merch guy it was on C-SPAN and there was a dais of all these

[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_01]: journalists and stuff and I go yep that's Lou's merch guy Lenny the most

[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_01]: overqualified merch man in the history of ever. All right we're gonna try a few

[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_01]: treats here then we're moving on. Wrap snacks these are a lot of gas stations if

[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_01]: you'd like to try it this is Snoop Dogg's cheddar barbecue tortilla chip I

[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_01]: think they've gone too far with this. Gail and Harry they're from

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Montauk. Oh no. Snoop went too far. Oh man they're yeah oh oh well yeah they're

[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_01]: good for I was like oh well they're not they're expired they're not expired.

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_01]: And then Philly cheesecake. Philly cheesesteak. Let's see this is from another Kathleen who's a 26 year old term

[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_01]: nobody's named Kathleen under 50. Look at a 26 year old bringing my name back.

[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I know I asked my brother I said if you have a girl what do you name her Kathleen?

[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like gross you don't name people after your aunt. Why? That's what I said

[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_01]: you don't think we have an older Pat somewhere that your uncle fuck you mean

[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_01]: idiot. Let's not talk to Patrick about naming people. Yeah we can't talk to Patrick about naming people.

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_01]: What do you like them? You like them? No they're gross. You don't like them? I'm sorry I'm glad you guys bring them I like to try them you're saving me

[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_01]: $1.79 let's see how much that was oh $2.69 mark it off the list.

[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Young Kathleen wants me to do another story time I will at some point but

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_01]: there's too much going on right now way too much going on. Are you busy? Just a little by the way I forgot to

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_01]: well I'll get to that after here's where I'm going this is that these are the all

[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_01]: the 2025 day drinking tickets are on sale and the on sale went great thank you

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_01]: what is it it's called date the day drinking tour because that's my new thing

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_01]: that went great and if you want to go there's more left everywhere but um

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_01]: here's what I'm going in the near future meaning like this weekend Columbus

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Ohio yay Lexington to Kentucky unfortunately I'm battling the Kentucky

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Georgia game oh yeah I wouldn't wouldn't blame people but you could do maybe both

[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Dallas Texas we had a little change of opening acts there my friend Aaron and

[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_01]: his wife the baby was supposed to be next month and now it could be a day so

[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Aaron can't do it and instead Google John Novosad from Denver Colorado also known

[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_01]: sometimes as hippie man he's gonna do Oklahoma Dallas and I'm so excited he's

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_01]: so funny I was excited what Aaron too but replacement wise sometimes you can't

[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_01]: get good people at the very last minute boom it's better to 27th Foxwoods casino

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_01]: fun Tarrytown New York it's about an hour away from New York it's on the

[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Hudson River it's just an idyllic town now it's not cheap to live there no no

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_01]: it's pretty pricey because you could take the train and be in the city in a

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_01]: half an hour how great is that then you can get on the train and boom be out in

[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_01]: happy land by the river and my friend Laura nobody ever makes me a dinner

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_01]: she made a reservation at this place called the Red Hat right down by the

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_01]: river it was a perfect night outside to sit outside and drink and it was it she

[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_01]: brought a friend it was a great a great time and then super awesome surprise I

[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_01]: got to meet Meredith of era yeah she likes comedy she came to the show and

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_01]: then came backstage and drank a little bit with us and the opening act Andrew

[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Stanley very very funny Andrew is very young he's 32 and we've been hanging out

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_01]: backstage for like an hour and Andrew goes wait a minute he looked at Meredith

[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_01]: he goes it just dawned on me you're the lady who used to host who wants to be a

[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_01]: millionaire and she's so funny she's like Andrew I thought you were smart from

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_01]: listening to your act but now I'm thinking maybe you're not that smart

[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_01]: hello Andrew it's me Meredith she was so funny and smart um so that was really

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_01]: she has she has a game show 25 words or less and I was supposed to go do what I

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_01]: promised I would because they were taping in Atlanta and then my dad got

[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_01]: sick and I couldn't do it so I'm gonna redo that at some point and good for

[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Meredith it was super fun I hope she stays in touch well I did get her phone

[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_01]: number but I have a tendency to flip numbers so I texted probably two people

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_01]: before I got ahold of Meredith yeah it wasn't a it was just a picture

[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_01]: somebody's got a picture of me and Meredith in their phone and they're

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_01]: probably going who are these and then Wilmington Delaware I got to see my

[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_01]: friend my sister's friend Michelle who I've known since she was 14 yeah cuz

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_01]: she's my sister's BFF there's like a click of them that was super fun and the

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_01]: shows were great sold out great and I got to go to Chick-E's and Pete's if

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_01]: you're not an East Coaster it's just the greatest one of the greatest sports bars

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_01]: ever and they have a cheesesteak sandwich that's what they're kind of

[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_01]: known for and the crab fries are great cuz they make french fries and just dump

[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Old Bay seasoning on them I mean that's all you need to order when you go in

[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_01]: there just get a basket of Old Bay fries or crab fries whatever they want to call

[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_01]: them but really that's what it is um yes and I'm very proud of my friend Andrew

[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Stanley he's gonna tape a special and he sold out one of his shows already the

[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Buckhead Theater in Atlanta boom good for him all right that's it we're gonna

[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_01]: move on let's get this Scrapple News out of here well people need to know cuz

[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_01]: it's good it's like getting offered grits in the south except it's much more

[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_01]: specific to Pennsylvania like the whole south offers you grits the entire south

[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_01]: well let me move some of this shit no grits is a grits reminds me of army food

[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_01]: well I don't mind it if I dump a whole bucket of butter and then salt on it but

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_01]: if you got to do that was it good to begin with well I don't know about all

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_01]: that I feel like it's what you could make buckets of it for $2 and that's

[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_01]: what the south did and then they serve it and act like it's upscale sometimes

[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_01]: if they put cheese on it Waffle House has cheese grits yeah yeah that's good

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_01]: shrimp and grits a very fancy I like it like that before we get into anything I

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_01]: have a new candle sent to me by my friend Billy he's the equipment manager

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_01]: for the Blue Jays um the Toronto baseball team it's George Kittle and if

[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_01]: you don't know George he's a tight end on my fantasy team and in real life

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_01]: well in real life he plays for Kathleen Madigan in fantasy he plays with San

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Francisco 49ers I won both of my things yeah and then in the pick'em pool I I'm

[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_01]: in fifth I got 13 out 15 right boom it was just an on-fire weekend George only

[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_01]: got me a point so it's not very good for a tight end game one yeah but

[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Christian McCafferty wasn't even playing imagine when that happens I still can't

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_01]: believe Lewis took Cleveland to win I was like oh he's gonna go to like 24th

[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_01]: he's just gonna drop there's 37 people in the pick'em thing the pick'em pool

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_01]: deal and I haven't spoke to him today because I've been doing a lot of press

[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_01]: and he was busy yesterday and it's gonna be a hard talk for him a lot of there's

[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_01]: been a lot of losses in his camp he lost one of the leagues I'm aware of I don't

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_01]: know about his expensive super she she won I don't know Lewis better hunker

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_01]: down and get on that waiver wire right now yeah it was very funny too cuz we

[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_01]: taught my cousin Connie how to play cuz she always said well I want to know and

[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_01]: then my cousin Mike's a total gamble monster and I thought I don't know if

[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_01]: this would be enough to keep Connie's attention like some people join and

[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_01]: then they're like that's too much it's really not on the apps it can look

[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_01]: overwhelming but it's not she I beat her by one point yeah and she's like well

[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_01]: congratulations I'm off to the waiver wire I like wow she already knows the

[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_01]: words the waiver wire if you don't play is where you can go pick up people

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_01]: instead of the people you have you can go switch out your kicker or whatever

[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_01]: yes Queen News dolly's wines have launched in the UK her Prosecco and her

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_01]: rosé range so if you happen to be I know we're kind of jumping some sharks

[00:17:18] [SPEAKER_01]: here yeah we went from moonshine to protect Prussia

[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_01]: seth up prosecco I can't even say I hate Prosecco well I don't hate it it's just

[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_01]: too sweet yeah so she's there that's what she did this week I mean the woman's

[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_01]: insane the business that is going on I don't I know she gets up early and I

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_01]: built people always said well if you get up early you get more done well I don't

[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_01]: know Queen News Taytay okay yeah she behind me um she did she did not sit

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_01]: with Brittany at the Kansas City game but she got her own little box but she

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_01]: did go to the US Open and sit with them and hug them showing what I think

[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_01]: should be shown you can be friends with people that politically disagree with

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_01]: you my chimpanzee pinky Tito mark my pickleball partner every day he and I

[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_01]: fight over something in politics every day every day we want to have a show

[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_01]: called because when he gets really really when he has a point and he thinks

[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_01]: he's got a good one he goes oh no Kelly watch this so and then he has a point

[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_01]: that I know we heard from Tucker Carlson and he's embellished some of that and

[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_01]: then I have to refute all that and then we laugh and laugh and laugh and then

[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_01]: great I don't think he people were really trashing him and I thought they're

[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_01]: just then I'd look at their profile picture and I thought you're just

[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_01]: jealous he said smart stuff it's just I don't know he his voice is kind of high

[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_01]: it's weird yeah like you can go fix that you can go get a voice lesson and then

[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_01]: know what ice stands for for permission to compete on Dancing with the Stars

[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_01]: well I don't know I don't know why they're not saying there's she still has

[00:22:20] [SPEAKER_01]: an ice pending case and we're gonna let her I know she's a sociopath but she is

[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_01]: them about 10 days to get it through the system and for everything to be

[00:22:49] [SPEAKER_01]: approved by the time I got approval it was very close to starting so I had it

[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_01]: flew to LA pretty much the next day and I decided why not where'd she get the

[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_01]: money to fight LA I don't think Dancing with the Stars pays for plane tickets

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_01]: anymore not in season 33 all that started season 1 they probably did that

[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_01]: shit got cut out as soon as they figured these idiots will come to us when I

[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_01]: asked about facing potential backlash for her controversial casting she said

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_01]: it's just not that serious if someone is upset about that casting on a dancing

[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_01]: show I don't know what to tell them well I don't think she should be able to

[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_01]: stay I mean you did your prison time but then you gotta go home that's part of the

[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_01]: deal right dancing in Munich dancing in Heidelberg let's make it more like the

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_01]: and then the first day they had floods I just I for the life of me I cannot

[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_01]: figure out why anyone would put themselves through this but I wouldn't

[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_01]: have done it at 20 yeah Burning Man's rich list fly off in private planes as

[00:24:09] [SPEAKER_01]: hard-up revelers face poo reality meaning there's no bathrooms left that's

[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_01]: what it says yeah the Black Rock Desert is now a dumping ground for trash after

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_01]: 70,000 festival goers vacated this site on Monday September 3rd it's reported

[00:24:25] [SPEAKER_01]: that the festival's wealthy attendees made a swift exit via private jets while

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_01]: the less fortunate partygoers endured long lines amidst their own waste yeah

[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_01]: every year burners leave behind vehicles ruined tents bicycles even odors worn

[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_01]: out furry costumes as they depart from the sun-scorched temporary city

[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_01]: following nine days of debauchery yeah everybody else was sitting in traffic for

[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_01]: a minimum of five hours and then they don't clean it up I mean I I don't know

[00:25:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I think I'm too oh wait yeah I always say I'm too old for that but I would not

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_01]: have done it when I was 25 no I'm not I don't like a situation where I can't get

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_01]: out and I learned that from going to servers apartment parties in comedy

[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_01]: loved him when they'd show him at a game I was and I don't know why we had a wolf

[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I think I looked it up once and I don't even remember why we had a wolf chief

[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_01]: super van Xavier Babajar was sentenced to 17 and a half years in prison without

[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_01]: parole and three years of supervised release Thursday for committing a

[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_01]: string of armed bank robberies cost United States 17 and a half years tis

[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_01]: it's a lot yeah he entered a plea deal in February in which he admitted to

[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_01]: stealing more than $800,000 well Anna Anna schmuck face stole 400,000 she's on

[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_01]: dancing with the stars let's get some little support for the wolf huh he

[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Kansas the Chiefs travel so the wolf needs to go to he became a staple and

[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_01]: was adored by fans at Arrowhead and on social media when he crafted a person of

[00:27:11] [SPEAKER_01]: a hard-working generous bachelor it began in March 22 that's how fast they

[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_01]: caught him and convicted him though two years that for the law that's really

[00:27:24] [SPEAKER_01]: fast yeah he had a gambling addiction that's what his lawyer said okay yeah

[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_01]: well it's not an addiction to gambling it's not an addiction to the Chiefs it's

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_01]: an addiction to fame oh it's so layered he did get Matt he did get a little

[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_01]: violent with a Nashville Credit Union employee and here's the thing well

[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_01]: here's what I would yeah he robbed one of them he told the teller the employee

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_01]: that he would blow your brains out if they didn't give him a die pack if they

[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_01]: gave him a die pack you know the stuff that explodes in the money he would come

[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_01]: back and put a bullet in their head here's what the wolf didn't know Titans

[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_01]: tickets are like a dollar there was no need to rob a bank you could just go

[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_01]: for him not happy that people got to get killed over this but you tell me what

[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_01]: else you can't let them in I think we've learned that over the years if you are

[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_01]: an indigenous group don't let the newcomers in it's nothing but trouble

[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_01]: well two loggers and peruse Amazon have been killed to it with bows and arrows

[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Spears and arrows and two others are missing after a class with the Mashco

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Piro an indigenous community that is long isolated itself a local

[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_01]: advocacy organization said on Tuesday they were attacked by arrows by members

[00:29:44] [SPEAKER_01]: of the tribe yeah well you know I'm sorry for the loggers because they're

[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_01]: probably just doing a gig yeah but who's ever in charge of them nope it's got to

[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_01]: stop the miniature of culture needs to step up but that's our count that's what

[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_01]: says in the article I didn't make that up I would be impressed too if I'd made

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_01]: that up I'm the minister of culture tonight we'll be drinking beer and

[00:30:13] [SPEAKER_01]: playing bingo feel that that's cultural all I do I feel like it's a Midwest

[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_01]: southern cultural phenomena we've passing around a can of cheese with to

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_01]: the winners only the winners update Kevin Costner's crying and he's very

[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_01]: emotional and he doesn't know how he's gonna make her eyes in chapter 3 oh you

[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_01]: know what here's what we have to say to Kevin Kevin don't make a three-part

[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_01]: series in a movie theater you're not you take off the hat stop it he's melded into

[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_01]: this thing where I believe he believes he's he thinks he's that man in

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Yellowstone he needs an intervention a cowboy intervention Kevin you're just a

[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_01]: man you don't live in 1864 it's 2024 oh yeah he was over at the Venice Film

[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Festival is he dating Susan Sarandon good I can't imagine that I don't know

[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Susan Sarandon was always one of my dad's favorites yeah he thought she was

[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_01]: smoking hot she's smoking hot yeah and she still looks good she says stupid

[00:31:41] [SPEAKER_01]: shit every now and then but she's super mouthy like that but it always makes me

[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_01]: laugh because it's always ill-timed and then she has to apologize and say what

[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_01]: she really meant she the ping-pong person I know he created the ping-pong bar and

[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_01]: you know she gave him the money for that yeah ping-pong is a passing fad you don't

[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_01]: build your bar around fucking ping-pong maybe gambling well right a regular bar

[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_01]: might have pool or ping-pong or darts and fun stuff yeah but this was like a

[00:32:13] [SPEAKER_01]: social club you know the fancy schmancy yeah with mocktails instead of bottles

[00:32:20] [SPEAKER_01]: of beer it's not coming up when you made that up paddles you want to start that

[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_01]: rumor all right well with horizon American saga chapter 2 premiering at

[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_01]: the Venice Film Festival today Kevin has making the rounds with an emotional plea

[00:32:36] [SPEAKER_01]: for chapter 3 they already had to delay the and it's too bad because I loved

[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Yellowstone but he didn't write produce direct and act in that this is all by

[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_01]: himself this is his fan his little vanity project he's waited his whole

[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_01]: entire adult life to do and I like him I mean I wished it would have worked yeah

[00:32:56] [SPEAKER_01]: but if you read every single review I haven't read one that's good um and he

[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_01]: quit Yellowstone for this why would I don't understand when people get the

[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_01]: greatest roles of a lifetime why do you quit I mean I I mean after I guess after

[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_01]: five years maybe you're tired of it I get it this was not was Yellowstone better

[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_01]: than Robin Hood Prince of Thieves for sure I did not see that and a solid C

[00:33:32] [SPEAKER_01]: okay now after financing most of the half-made film series himself he spent

[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_01]: 38 million and rallying for outside investors there's no denying he takes

[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_01]: the future of his Western legacy very seriously he got teary-eyed and cried as

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_01]: he spoke about the future of it but see that I don't know if you're acting well

[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_01]: there's gonna be four total he's begging for money for three you realize two is

[00:34:02] [SPEAKER_01]: harder than one it's hard to go west three is the same thing it gets harder

[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you this chapter three is devastating it's devastating kids you

[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_01]: get to know all these people and life keeps coming at them you will see that

[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_01]: and it's that way I don't think any of this is gonna end well but this is where

[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I think egos get involved and you got to go look I tried it didn't work the

[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_01]: people say nay go call Yellowstone people and see if you can get your gig

[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_01]: back that's what I would do call them crying use your tears in the appropriate

[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_01]: place they would take him back say a prayer to Jesus or maybe he could say a

[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_01]: prayer to this kid the first millennial Saint has become sainted Carlos a cutest

[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Carlos the Pope said yes boom yep he's very cute he's a tech whiz so as a

[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Catholic now if your computer breaks you say a prayer to Carlos he will become

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_01]: the patron saint I'm sure of technology unless we already have one see if there's

[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_01]: a patron saint of technology I'm sure there probably is one but this kid should

[00:35:14] [SPEAKER_01]: get it we should bump who's ever already been and not whoever has been

[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_01]: given the job needs to be bumped yeah they're still doing tape recorders

[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_01]: dictaphone oh that's no fun um well this kid died in 2006 you can go um look at

[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_01]: his body if you want you won't go see him yeah well his body was exhumed in

[00:35:47] [SPEAKER_01]: 2019 and transferred to a shrine at the Church of st. Mary major the very spot

[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_01]: where st. Francis is said to have shed his luxurious clothing for a habit by

[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_01]: way of renouncing his wealth he remains on display in a glass case wearing blue

[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_01]: jeans and authentic athletic zip-up and Nike sneakers more than 41 people have

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_01]: visited Carlos's tomb during the celebration of his beatification

[00:36:13] [SPEAKER_01]: beatification isn't one of the steps to get to say no that's when he was just

[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_01]: hanging out waiting he was in a waiting room his website did all the Catholic

[00:36:22] [SPEAKER_01]: stuff and his parents weren't even that Catholic it is a little strange yeah I

[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_01]: mean they were Catholic but they weren't like uber-duber go to church like my

[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_01]: grandma's what the mass every day every day you think they'll I'm sure they are

[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_01]: over Catholic update big lots declare bankruptcy we knew it was coming if you

[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_01]: listen to this podcast we have our little business articles and it's uh it's

[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_01]: it's time but they they oh and Red Lobster too well Red Lobster already did

[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_01]: but they've shuttered more than a hundred locations and LL flooring is

[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_01]: going down I'm gonna go over there tomorrow LL flooring is one of the

[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_01]: biggest flooring stores in the United States of America I've been in one

[00:37:18] [SPEAKER_01]: they're awesome but their Home Depot's biggest competitor but for some reason

[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_01]: they couldn't get their shit together and they are also they're having a huge

[00:37:26] [SPEAKER_01]: closing down sale at 442 stores so if you need want some floors I gotta get

[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_01]: some floors in my little Ozark house yeah Mike the builders gonna start

[00:37:39] [SPEAKER_00]: calling yelling at me if I don't get my shit I know that's why because he'll

[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_01]: always say where you at on the road and then I sent him a picture somewhere he's

[00:37:55] [SPEAKER_01]: like oh I wanted to go there I'm like Mike I don't think you've gone very many

[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_01]: places I like that he likes to see it though he wants to know what is

[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Wilmington Delaware look like I'm like just any picture if it's just a downtown

[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_01]: but he likes it he's a great guy I'm so fortunate that I just met there he just

[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_01]: randomly met a builder I've only built two houses my life this one and the one

[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_01]: of building the Ozarks and both times I just pulled up and there was a nice man

[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah a real nice guy usually we're about the same age like you got anything going

[00:38:28] [SPEAKER_01]: on after you're done with that one nope great now you do okay do we need to sign

[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Washington I said hey can you build this he's like sure Kathleen why cuz I'm

[00:38:45] [SPEAKER_01]: United States Army CB2 I'm like what's that construction battalion number two

[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_01]: we learned how to build in the army so if you want to get to your big let's get

[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_01]: down there betting on football with with Mike oh yeah we bet a 12-pack of

[00:39:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Mikultra but the he he thought Kansas City would win by ten or more I said

[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_01]: that's what they're seeking I don't know I kind of hope buying closes yeah I

[00:39:34] [SPEAKER_01]: would love a TJ Maxx or a Marshall's I love those yeah well I don't have one I

[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_01]: have to go to the next town I gotta go to the highway and get to go down two

[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_01]: exits I don't like it I want one on my main road what no I don't have to walk

[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_01]: it would be better if they could put one where I could walk to it that'd be great

[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_01]: me and miss Daisy could go I'll get a scooter and go with her miss Daisy is my

[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_01]: neighbor she sometimes gets water on the brain and she gets dizzy so her

[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_01]: nickname is called yeah it's fluid on the brain you have to have it drained as

[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_01]: a child in a bad way my parents would say well I won't even say but they had bad

[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_01]: names for those not bad name but you know think there weren't medical terms

[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_01]: let's put that way but she told me because she crashed her scooter into

[00:40:27] [SPEAKER_01]: the the subdivision entrance and she'd fallen off so me and my neighbors but

[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_01]: they were like we've already been drinking can you drive her home this is

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_01]: what happens when your neighbors are old I'm like it's 4-fucking-30

[00:40:41] [SPEAKER_01]: God guys I'm like yeah I'll drive her home but I told my neighbor Jeff I'm

[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_01]: like you get on a scooter and you drive that home you can do that he yeah they

[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_01]: weren't drunk it's just they had drink a drive I'm like you're technically it's

[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_01]: electric it's a battery that doesn't I don't know well she gets dizzy she said

[00:41:03] [SPEAKER_01]: because when there's too much water on her brain she gets dizzy and she can

[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_01]: wreck stuff like on her thing but on a good day her and I could get if I could

[00:41:11] [SPEAKER_01]: get a scooter too if I did have a TJ Maxx or Marshalls I could go get miss dizzy

[00:41:15] [SPEAKER_01]: and take her for a little shopping trip right all right what well what are we

[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_01]: watching there's a lot going on in this Cove let me tell you what a lot going on

[00:41:28] [SPEAKER_01]: we're gonna go a little tiny deep dive into chimp crazy cuz everybody watching

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_01]: it that I know loves it but we all don't really first of all I do not know how in

[00:41:42] [SPEAKER_01]: this country it is still legal to buy chimps there too so the lady it's

[00:41:50] [SPEAKER_01]: confusing because the chimps name is Tonka I'm just gonna assume everyone's

[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_01]: seen this because I can't go explain the whole thing if you haven't skipped

[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_01]: this part of the publicist and go watch it and then come back to the book yeah

[00:42:02] [SPEAKER_01]: just for fair warning Tonka is the chimp there was a chimp

[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_01]: preserve him in in st. Louis PETA found out they weren't being treated well

[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_01]: which was true PETA goes down does a great job saves like nine out of ten my

[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_01]: numbers are probably a little off but basically most of them 95% but there was

[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_01]: one missing and Tanya is the lady who took over the chimps from Connie who was

[00:42:31] [SPEAKER_01]: old older Tanya I don't know how else to describe this except I think something

[00:42:37] [SPEAKER_01]: went very wrong in these people's lives and they flat-out say I love the chimp

[00:42:45] [SPEAKER_01]: more than my husband more than my kids and the adult kids the husband's right

[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_01]: there the adult kids are like yeah I mean like my dad used to joke and say

[00:42:55] [SPEAKER_01]: well if it's you know if it's you guys or I'm going fishing yeah right but he

[00:43:03] [SPEAKER_01]: always took us I mean it was a joke this lady's not joking so she took Tonka and

[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_01]: then hit him in the Ozarks where I'm building the house but but I like to

[00:43:15] [SPEAKER_01]: point out to my brother Joe and his wife Amy Tanya's on your road she's not on

[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_01]: my road new new there's a little mic drop and her Safari Park which won't

[00:43:28] [SPEAKER_01]: make any money because nobody's in the Ozarks except fishermen from October 1st

[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_01]: till May 1st I mean there's no tourists to go it's they don't go down they go in

[00:43:37] [SPEAKER_01]: the summer and that's it um so I don't even see how that thing's gonna make any

[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_01]: money but anyway PETA found out about Tonka being held and kept and hidden

[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_01]: the big controversy is the filmmakers a was it a HBO guys there's a main

[00:43:55] [SPEAKER_01]: director guy he looks like somebody to he looks like James Cameron or something

[00:44:01] [SPEAKER_01]: he very much resembles some other middle-aged director and then there's a

[00:44:07] [SPEAKER_01]: go-between guy who also loves animals and they convince her to trust them but

[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_01]: he says they told her don't say anything on camera that you don't want put out

[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_01]: there well but she can't stop talking and then she admitted I do have Tonka

[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I've hidden him you want to see him he's in the basement and this poor chimp looks

[00:44:31] [SPEAKER_01]: so sad yeah cuz I thought how much money is PETA gonna spend you got nine

[00:44:36] [SPEAKER_01]: out of ten in that pretty good chugger but then when you see Tonka you're like

[00:44:39] [SPEAKER_01]: this is bullshit he should be happy like none of this should be happening to

[00:44:43] [SPEAKER_01]: begin with but now we have this situation well she said he had congestive

[00:44:48] [SPEAKER_01]: heart failure and he had had a stroke like well I don't know what kind of

[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_01]: stroke he had because she's like give me your McNugget bag and he hands her his

[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_01]: trash bag I mean he's his brain was working fine and he's in the cage like

[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_01]: going crazy and well they show it in the movie that she's hidden Tonka and

[00:45:06] [SPEAKER_01]: then she finds out in the movie they're the ones who tipped off PETA and said

[00:45:11] [SPEAKER_01]: hey she still got Tonka which they kind of knew but they didn't know where

[00:45:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Tonka was right well then they go get him and she's heartbroken they take him

[00:45:20] [SPEAKER_01]: to the Florida Preserve which is phenomenal they've there's islands and

[00:45:27] [SPEAKER_01]: all this greenery and and I'm sure it's swampy but I'm sure Tonka could take an

[00:45:32] [SPEAKER_01]: alligator a hot minute talking to bitch slap it and fly away

[00:45:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Tonka is living happily with 13 other chimps he's got a girlfriend Ursula he

[00:45:43] [SPEAKER_01]: has BFFs and some that not but they're all kind of dysfunctional chimps like

[00:45:46] [SPEAKER_01]: they're from entertainment they've been collect they never were socialized in

[00:45:51] [SPEAKER_01]: the wild well they weren't wild chimps so it's not like you got this ass kicker

[00:45:55] [SPEAKER_01]: from a jungle who's a wild chimp they're all misfit toys so Tonka's

[00:46:02] [SPEAKER_01]: doing great it does not have congestive heart failure so she just made that up

[00:46:06] [SPEAKER_01]: and well she said she had a vet come and then he I don't know if they ever said

[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_01]: if he had a stroke he is old but um here this is why she thinks they betrayed her

[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah I'm not gonna that there's a lot going on here she still raises exotic

[00:46:26] [SPEAKER_01]: animals in Sunrise Beach which is Lake of the Ozarks she's currently brokering

[00:46:31] [SPEAKER_01]: monkeys to their forever homes yeah but wait till I tell you what has happened

[00:46:36] [SPEAKER_01]: to her since I'm trying um I think it was filmed in 2022 I think yeah and this

[00:46:50] [SPEAKER_01]: is after the one in Connecticut ate that lady's face this is where they all

[00:46:56] [SPEAKER_01]: are now so we don't need to go through that sorry that article wasn't really you

[00:47:02] [SPEAKER_01]: need to know where everybody's at okay well I thought it was interesting well

[00:47:08] [SPEAKER_01]: hold on below is an update to all the chimp moms and everybody who's in it

[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Tanya Haddix I told you still raising um she also though went and visited

[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_01]: another chimp male chimp someone else's I don't know who's she doesn't say and

[00:47:23] [SPEAKER_01]: got in the cage with it and it just tore her ear off her hands in some all messed

[00:47:30] [SPEAKER_01]: up bandage her foot doesn't work it beat the shit out of her she's lucky she's

[00:47:35] [SPEAKER_01]: alive yeah I don't know what it will take for these people to understand

[00:47:39] [SPEAKER_01]: they're very dangerous right is a little one fine you want to hold the one in the

[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_01]: diaper yeah you know but she's mad they took me they took him from the only

[00:47:53] [SPEAKER_01]: home he knows the only mother he knows and he woke up in a sanctuary setting

[00:47:55] [SPEAKER_01]: and he doesn't know what happened well you don't know that he's unhappy I saw

[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_01]: the video of him he looks very happy I he has a son I'm gonna tell you about

[00:48:04] [SPEAKER_01]: that um Sandy Sandy Harold was the mom quote they all say they're there it's

[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_01]: of Travis the one in Stanford Connecticut that a Charles face off she

[00:48:18] [SPEAKER_01]: died in 2010 but she got another chimp what yep yeah she co-adopted she

[00:48:26] [SPEAKER_01]: co-adopted one and it lived in Florida and she spent all her money to go visit

[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_01]: it and even snuck it back to Connecticut it's like a weird addiction

[00:48:34] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah it's very strange um Charles sued Harold for 50 million but only received

[00:48:40] [SPEAKER_01]: four million in 2012 yep the lady the niece of Sandy currently works as a real

[00:48:50] [SPEAKER_01]: estate agent in Connecticut Dwayne Cunningham he is the go-between

[00:48:54] [SPEAKER_01]: producer on the show proxy director if you will he's an animal consultant he

[00:49:00] [SPEAKER_01]: used to work at the Big Cat Sanctuary yeah according to his Facebook he's an

[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_01]: animal consultant Connie Casey the older lady um let's see

[00:49:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Peter filed a lawsuit against her for poor living conditions in a settlement

[00:49:18] [SPEAKER_01]: agreement signed by PETA she provided included a provision that neither had

[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_01]: ex-boy Casey could ever own possess or exhibit chimps again and then Alan

[00:49:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Cumming the actor who's in it he hosts a show called the traders there you go

[00:49:34] [SPEAKER_01]: that's what happened everybody um yeah this is what a little something update

[00:49:41] [SPEAKER_01]: on Tonka chimp crazy's primate store talk star

[00:49:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Tonka was reunited with his long-lost son Caleb Caleb got they took him they

[00:49:56] [SPEAKER_01]: reconnected he got taken to the Florida sanctuary yeah I didn't know who was

[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Tonka meeting with were they selling these things for 50 grand a pop in 2022

[00:50:15] [SPEAKER_01]: he reconnected with his son Caleb like his father the younger chimp was bred

[00:50:18] [SPEAKER_01]: for the entertainment industry is an infant the primates were left at

[00:50:22] [SPEAKER_01]: separate facilities the organization refused both and so that's how they got

[00:50:25] [SPEAKER_01]: adopted separately after three decades and behind basements and crappy places

[00:50:32] [SPEAKER_01]: isolated from other chimps Tonka is now fit relishing in the sunshine on our

[00:50:36] [SPEAKER_01]: hundred fifty acre sanctuary with a gregarious group of 17 chimps who get the

[00:50:41] [SPEAKER_01]: state-of-the-art vet care Tonka will turn 33 on October 5th he's a Libra he's

[00:50:47] [SPEAKER_01]: a Libra hey he's enjoying his second act with

[00:50:51] [SPEAKER_01]: peace with family friends dignity and freedom chimps can live into their 60s

[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_01]: he could make it to Social Security and he worked he probably gets it he had gigs

[00:51:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I wonder if he has a number not a Social Security but he probably has a

[00:51:08] [SPEAKER_01]: number he should get his money back according to Caleb's bio he previously

[00:51:14] [SPEAKER_01]: lived at a while the wildlife way station an animal refuge in California

[00:51:18] [SPEAKER_01]: that closed in 2019 he was one of 42 chimps left that needed a new home the

[00:51:24] [SPEAKER_01]: North American primate sanctuary Alliance led chimpanzees in need finding

[00:51:28] [SPEAKER_01]: sanctuaries for the displaced chimps he was a bit nervous when he came to save

[00:51:32] [SPEAKER_01]: the chimps but soon adjusted where he enjoyed playing with a friend named

[00:51:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Jacob and soaking up sunshine with the addition of Tonka the trio moved to the

[00:51:41] [SPEAKER_01]: three acre dog island where they found the companionship of a large family a

[00:51:46] [SPEAKER_01]: happy ending all right good for PETA for making all that happen

[00:51:51] [SPEAKER_01]: that's enough of Jim crazy speak this is before I do all this shit they found

[00:51:55] [SPEAKER_01]: it just cuz everybody should know this I don't know why this isn't on the news

[00:51:59] [SPEAKER_01]: more there's a tiger that escaped to zoo in Mexico and it has made its way to

[00:52:05] [SPEAKER_01]: where Texas adult Bengal tiger is roaming around Texas yeah um well I'm

[00:52:16] [SPEAKER_01]: gonna tell you kind of where Reynosa Reynosa yeah imagine if you your was

[00:52:24] [SPEAKER_01]: your ring in the front yard oh are the deer out there

[00:52:26] [SPEAKER_01]: brah an escaped Bengal tiger feared to have crossed Mexico's border into Texas

[00:52:31] [SPEAKER_01]: has finally been spotted over the weekend this is this past weekend days

[00:52:36] [SPEAKER_01]: after the tiger was first reported missing from Reynosa's la fauna zoo in

[00:52:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Mexico officials reported the first sighting of the bit of the elusive big

[00:52:44] [SPEAKER_01]: cat Aaron de la Cruz director for whatever whatever the zoo it's too long

[00:52:50] [SPEAKER_01]: say the wayward tiger they got a first glimpse and they're setting up traps on

[00:52:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Sunday while the crews followed the tiger with an attempted to shoot it it

[00:53:00] [SPEAKER_01]: took off and hit amongst the trees mm-hmm they found muddy paw prints and

[00:53:07] [SPEAKER_01]: things he left behind oh he's already killed some pigs and

[00:53:12] [SPEAKER_01]: he's got to eat he's gotta eat the good for him he knows how to hunt yeah if he

[00:53:17] [SPEAKER_01]: was born in a zoo and shit he might not know how mm-hmm they told him nearby

[00:53:24] [SPEAKER_01]: residents to take precautions especially at night that's when the Tigers most

[00:53:27] [SPEAKER_01]: active and to stay away from mountainous areas but you got to google where the zoo

[00:53:32] [SPEAKER_01]: is if you really want to know prior to the weekend sighting Tony I guess Tony

[00:53:38] [SPEAKER_01]: the tiger get it was previously seen along the bag banks of the Rio Grande

[00:53:42] [SPEAKER_01]: after escaping the zoo putting Texas officials near high alert hmm it's south

[00:53:48] [SPEAKER_01]: of the zoo is south of Hidego Texas I'm sure I'm saying that wrong

[00:53:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Tigers are excellent swimming swimmers and can swim up to seven miles a day

[00:53:59] [SPEAKER_01]: yep it will not be hard to get across the Rio Grande no no so just saying heads

[00:54:07] [SPEAKER_01]: up Texas divers looked for treasure in the Titanic's wreckage and discovered a

[00:54:17] [SPEAKER_01]: stunning lost statue this is so cool researchers have uncovered the bronze

[00:54:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Diana of Versailles statuette once a centerpiece in the doomed Titanic's

[00:54:28] [SPEAKER_01]: first-class lounge and now mired in ocean muck it marks the first sighting

[00:54:34] [SPEAKER_01]: of the Roman goddess Diana statue since 1986 and highlights the sunken ships

[00:54:39] [SPEAKER_01]: ongoing decay the Georgia based RMS Titanic has the only legal salvage claim

[00:54:45] [SPEAKER_01]: to the Titanic the famous moon we know the ship and all that shit they hoped

[00:54:50] [SPEAKER_01]: uncovered it's only two foot tall it's a two-foot tall statue yeah it once

[00:54:57] [SPEAKER_01]: appeared in a photograph in 1986 but I haven't been seen since the team had no

[00:55:01] [SPEAKER_01]: idea of where the statue stat away from where it sat away from the ship but only

[00:55:05] [SPEAKER_01]: a few hours with only a few hours left on the final day of the 2024 expedition

[00:55:09] [SPEAKER_01]: and time waning the researchers were losing hope but fortune favored the

[00:55:15] [SPEAKER_01]: search and the team found and photographed the statue in the nick of

[00:55:18] [SPEAKER_01]: time cool so they have pictures of it should we go get it yeah oh it's a

[00:55:27] [SPEAKER_01]: graveyard I think it should be left alone but that's my Catholic creepy

[00:55:32] [SPEAKER_01]: side well I don't know yeah I don't know um the once more by the way the once

[00:55:39] [SPEAKER_01]: miraculously intact railing surrounding the bows for castle deck was missing a

[00:55:44] [SPEAKER_01]: 15-foot long section it's falling apart maybe we should go get it before it

[00:55:48] [SPEAKER_01]: falls apart I guess I don't know that's a lever question it could take me years I

[00:55:52] [SPEAKER_01]: could have I could write 17 termites should we go get which should we bring it

[00:55:57] [SPEAKER_01]: up yes I don't know it's kind of like grave robbing well everything in a coffin

[00:56:11] [SPEAKER_01]: is history so should we raid all coffins that was your logic no no the

[00:56:24] [SPEAKER_01]: ship is a coffin just saying no that's a legal response

[00:56:34] [SPEAKER_01]: a little jack coming at you tarantula warning for eight states yeah this is

[00:56:45] [SPEAKER_01]: how global one when people say there's no climate change bullshit like I don't

[00:56:49] [SPEAKER_01]: know what's causing it me and Mark will get in there you want to somebody should

[00:56:52] [SPEAKER_01]: record me and Mark talking about what's causing global when neither one of us

[00:56:56] [SPEAKER_01]: probably got anything more than a C in science he's like well Kathleen I mean

[00:57:01] [SPEAKER_01]: whatever we're doing if it's not gas if it's a cast cars well what about the

[00:57:06] [SPEAKER_01]: batteries from the electric I'm like yeah I don't know anything about any of

[00:57:08] [SPEAKER_01]: that mark just hit the pickleball you just hit the pickleball I don't know

[00:57:13] [SPEAKER_01]: what's causing anything yes he's like six foot seven thousand feet tall I just

[00:57:20] [SPEAKER_01]: stay in the back with a seltzer in my hand and hit shit that gets through I'm

[00:57:23] [SPEAKER_01]: like I just keep going you got it pinky and then he's like a giant orangutan at

[00:57:28] [SPEAKER_01]: the net well you can't go in the kitchen he forgets that sometimes but

[00:57:31] [SPEAKER_01]: you're not allowed in that space it he just boom his big old arms that's the

[00:57:38] [SPEAKER_01]: key shorties get yourself a big-ass tall partner get those seltzers right behind

[00:57:43] [SPEAKER_01]: the line it just shut up hit the ball neither one of us are qualified to be

[00:57:49] [SPEAKER_01]: having this conversation idiotic a whore see so like when I was a kid in Missouri

[00:57:54] [SPEAKER_01]: there were no armadillos they were only in Texas then they marched to Oklahoma

[00:57:58] [SPEAKER_01]: and then they marched to Missouri because now because the temperature has

[00:58:02] [SPEAKER_01]: gotten one degree warmer they can survive a Missouri winter and now

[00:58:06] [SPEAKER_01]: they're everywhere there were never tarantulas in Missouri when I was a kid

[00:58:09] [SPEAKER_01]: well these hairy spiders known as Texas brown tarantulas are able to enter

[00:58:14] [SPEAKER_01]: entering their mating season which leads from it runs from late August and up

[00:58:18] [SPEAKER_01]: until October they're crawling out have you ever seen a whole pack of them

[00:58:22] [SPEAKER_01]: crossing a highway oh my god I saw it in Oklahoma once it looks like you see so

[00:58:27] [SPEAKER_01]: you see the road which looks gray or black but then you see a much darker

[00:58:33] [SPEAKER_01]: shade but you see it moving and you're like what you can see it from a long way

[00:58:39] [SPEAKER_01]: away because they travel in giant bunches it's horrifying these the

[00:58:45] [SPEAKER_01]: spiders are bigger than four inches they're native to New Mexico Oklahoma

[00:58:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Arkansas Colorado Kansas Missouri no they're not they have moved there I mean

[00:58:57] [SPEAKER_01]: they were not there when I was a kid and they're mostly males they're running

[00:59:01] [SPEAKER_01]: around looking for a mate though so those are the states that are on on high alert

[00:59:06] [SPEAKER_01]: if you live in one of those states I don't the females can live up to 20 or

[00:59:10] [SPEAKER_01]: 30 years imagine having a 30 year old spider Jesus the males die a lot sooner

[00:59:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they're poisonous though but it wouldn't matter because as soon

[00:59:20] [SPEAKER_01]: as I saw one yeah I don't think so like to people they're too large to get

[00:59:27] [SPEAKER_01]: through narrow gaps in your doors so they're unlikely to come in your home if

[00:59:30] [SPEAKER_01]: it does come experts suggest you using a bowl and a paper to remove it safely no

[00:59:36] [SPEAKER_01]: no well I'm not gonna kill it I don't want smash it but I'm not no I'm just

[00:59:39] [SPEAKER_01]: leaving and burning the house down that's what I'm doing yeah they're not

[00:59:43] [SPEAKER_01]: aggressive and they're not jumpers so people shouldn't worry about them but I

[00:59:46] [SPEAKER_01]: can understand people viewing them as a pest if they find them in the house

[00:59:52] [SPEAKER_01]: they're shy unless provoked at this time of year they're just hunting for

[00:59:57] [SPEAKER_01]: food and a mate yeah I don't care what your reason is when there's no other

[01:00:04] [SPEAKER_01]: alternative they'll face off by standing on their back four legs and showing

[01:00:07] [SPEAKER_01]: their fangs well what's not fun about that this is typically a spider in the

[01:00:12] [SPEAKER_01]: human when the human part ways and no one gets hurt however they will bite as

[01:00:16] [SPEAKER_01]: a last resort resort sorry they can also release the spiny hairs on their body

[01:01:50] [SPEAKER_01]: you know who you didn't like and who you did like and the retired engineer sold

[01:01:53] [SPEAKER_01]: his house in Temecula California and submitted a 5,000 deposit to life at sea

[01:02:56] [SPEAKER_01]: changed to Amsterdam they didn't have the ship I do remember this yeah but now

[01:03:01] [SPEAKER_01]: we've gone into 2024 and no one's getting their money back yeah what are

[01:03:06] [SPEAKER_01]: these old people supposed to do right that is just man you need a better lawyer

[01:03:10] [SPEAKER_01]: sorry somebody's gotta get a better lawyer and you need a better PR person

[01:03:15] [SPEAKER_01]: 90 grand well he signed up for three years yeah you could have spent a lot

[01:03:23] [SPEAKER_01]: more I mean he just got a regular one we saw the writing on the wall and the

[01:03:28] [SPEAKER_01]: but they didn't have the boat they didn't have the ship it was all bullshit

[01:03:32] [SPEAKER_01]: so I don't know how these people do it can you imagine though you or I would

[01:03:38] [SPEAKER_01]: have just lived in it well you can't they're waiting for the final clearance

[01:03:42] [SPEAKER_01]: to launch the Caribbean and South America while some passenger passengers

[01:03:46] [SPEAKER_01]: who sold their homes are just left waiting yeah I don't know I'll do an

[01:03:54] [SPEAKER_01]: update yeah there is a class-action lawsuit but it doesn't seem to this is

[01:04:02] [SPEAKER_01]: a problem with the law moves too slowly this guy could be dead by the time I

[01:04:07] [SPEAKER_01]: know just saying this is what I'm saying buy this insurance but that won't even

[01:04:12] [SPEAKER_01]: pay off um no the world oldest man had his birthday yep he's 112 he's

[01:04:21] [SPEAKER_01]: absolutely adorable yeah he was born the same year the Titanic sank I don't

[01:04:33] [SPEAKER_01]: John Alfred Tennis would was born the same year the Titanic Sagan when New

[01:04:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Mexico and Arizona became US states he's now the world's oldest living man he was

[01:04:45] [SPEAKER_01]: born on August 26 1912 he's celebrating his 112th birthday he's marking the

[01:04:51] [SPEAKER_01]: occasion with friends and family at his care home in the western English

[01:04:55] [SPEAKER_01]: seaside town of Southport he said he felt yeah care home it's like care bear yeah

[01:05:03] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah he said I don't feel the age I don't get overexcited about that's

[01:05:08] [SPEAKER_01]: probably why I've reached it I just take it in stride like anything else the

[01:05:12] [SPEAKER_01]: father of one grandfather for a great crowd that would grandfather three was

[01:05:15] [SPEAKER_01]: declared the oldest man alive by Guinness World Records in April he's

[01:05:19] [SPEAKER_01]: also the world's oldest surviving male World War two veteran look at him he

[01:05:25] [SPEAKER_01]: says that to stay healthy practice moderation he likes to listen to the

[01:05:29] [SPEAKER_01]: radio and still performs many daily tasks such as getting out of bed managing

[01:05:32] [SPEAKER_01]: finances without assistance yeah he said he said I can't think of any special

[01:05:39] [SPEAKER_01]: secrets I was quite active as a youngster I did a lot of walking but to

[01:05:43] [SPEAKER_01]: me I'm no different to anyone else no different at all yeah commenting what he

[01:05:51] [SPEAKER_01]: thinks the world will look like in another 112 years he said oh good lord

[01:05:54] [SPEAKER_01]: well I want to stay more I want to stay more honesty between the various

[01:05:58] [SPEAKER_01]: countries they all put including our own all put on a bit of a show now and again

[01:06:03] [SPEAKER_01]: he's four years younger than the oldest woman blah blah blah we know all this

[01:06:06] [SPEAKER_01]: the oldest person that ever lived well they don't count the Asians and that's

[01:06:11] [SPEAKER_01]: bullshit there's one guy in China they said was 226 and I believe him yeah

[01:06:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Jean Jean Jean Calme from France lived 122 years but I still say that's because

[01:06:26] [SPEAKER_01]: um they don't count the Asians the old the ones that don't have any kind you

[01:06:32] [SPEAKER_01]: know yeah they say well you're gonna prove it well if I'm fucking 200 years

[01:06:37] [SPEAKER_01]: old how am I supposed to prove that more red lobsters are closing they're

[01:06:42] [SPEAKER_01]: closing 20 23 additional locations I know that's gonna join more than 100 that

[01:06:48] [SPEAKER_01]: closed earlier this summer where am I supposed to get my cheddar bay biscuits

[01:06:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna have to start going a lot more frequently okay this I know I have made

[01:06:58] [SPEAKER_01]: my own cheddar babies they were good but they're not as good no I don't see so

[01:07:03] [SPEAKER_01]: no um hold on I'm deciding I'm editing what I'm doing here oh everybody hold on

[01:07:16] [SPEAKER_01]: well that's a great story I'm gonna talk about this because I can't stand him this

[01:07:21] [SPEAKER_01]: is how I feel about Roger Goodell Roger Goodell is in charge of the NFL and to

[01:07:28] [SPEAKER_01]: me and I'll go ahead and say it I consider part of the NFL owners half of

[01:07:35] [SPEAKER_01]: them to be the mob and then there's a good side the Packers people own stuff I

[01:07:40] [SPEAKER_01]: like the Carolina Panther owner he doesn't seem to be in on it there's good

[01:07:43] [SPEAKER_01]: guys out there and good women out there Amy who owns the Titans she's not part

[01:07:48] [SPEAKER_01]: of it no she's got to get better picker people I mean you can't will love this

[01:07:58] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah he sometimes he talks like he's a nine-year-old boy like when Jack and his

[01:08:03] [SPEAKER_01]: friends would get together and go wait you see how far I can throw the ball I

[01:08:06] [SPEAKER_01]: had cat my arms a cannon it's a can I'm like that's how we'll love us speaks as

[01:08:12] [SPEAKER_01]: a full-grown adult man I got a cannon well yeah but will it's aimed at the

[01:08:18] [SPEAKER_01]: wrong people can you aim your cannon Jesus Christ but this is so bad and it's

[01:08:26] [SPEAKER_01]: super bad for people my age who then have to help your parents do this Roger

[01:08:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Goodell he defends the NFL Street so if you don't like sports this is really a

[01:08:41] [SPEAKER_01]: business article this is not about learning how to play for understanding

[01:08:44] [SPEAKER_01]: football or nothing this is if you liked football though this is what you have to

[01:08:48] [SPEAKER_01]: do now in an age when the NFL continues to do anything to make a buck I will not

[01:08:55] [SPEAKER_01]: even get into them going to Brazil and London how much is Roger how much are

[01:09:02] [SPEAKER_01]: they all pocketing and if you can afford to give a hundred bazillion dollars to

[01:09:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Dak Prescott that means you've got billions and billions of it or you

[01:09:10] [SPEAKER_01]: wouldn't give it to him I know they wouldn't they don't share on purpose

[01:09:14] [SPEAKER_01]: they don't do it out of the kindness of their heart because it doesn't exist but

[01:09:18] [SPEAKER_01]: these foreign games they're saying oh we're gonna grow the game globally what

[01:09:23] [SPEAKER_01]: no you're not you just got paid to go down there and do a football game and

[01:09:26] [SPEAKER_01]: now these people that play on these teams I know they get paid well but that

[01:09:29] [SPEAKER_01]: wasn't the initial agreement wait I'm what I'm flying to Brazil to do what to

[01:09:34] [SPEAKER_01]: put the Eagles to play whomever I don't even I can't remember the Packers I

[01:09:38] [SPEAKER_01]: watched the game then they didn't plan right because green is a big gang color

[01:09:42] [SPEAKER_01]: and they told them all the fans don't wear green both teams are green Jesus how

[01:09:47] [SPEAKER_01]: hard would it have been to get the Cardinals they're red and the Cowboys

[01:09:50] [SPEAKER_01]: they're blue oh great no green but sorry I digress there the Leagues

[01:09:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Commissioner doesn't seem to have any issue with asking leagues consumers to

[01:10:02] [SPEAKER_01]: shell out more money than they ever have before not only is it expensive to go

[01:10:07] [SPEAKER_01]: to an NFL game but if you want to watch every single game you're gonna have to

[01:10:10] [SPEAKER_01]: give up an arm and a leg this is what it's gonna cost hold on we just get them

[01:10:15] [SPEAKER_01]: he's such a he's I think he might be dumb because sometimes I think he says

[01:10:21] [SPEAKER_01]: things and believes it like he said the bottom line is you have to go where

[01:10:24] [SPEAKER_01]: your fans are our fans are moving off on to streaming platforms Netflix is a good

[01:10:29] [SPEAKER_01]: example of that Peacock is a good example right we all yes many of us

[01:10:34] [SPEAKER_01]: watch things on platforms but we don't want to watch 16 games on 16 different

[01:10:38] [SPEAKER_01]: platforms you did that Roger you did that we if you told us they're all gonna be

[01:10:43] [SPEAKER_01]: on Amazon fine then I can tell my parents set their shit up every week how

[01:10:50] [SPEAKER_01]: you know are we gonna watch the Chiefs well you let me go look and then we got

[01:10:56] [SPEAKER_01]: to set all that up this is how much the NFL has made YouTube TV paid them two

[01:11:03] [SPEAKER_01]: billion dollars for Sunday ticket Amazon 1 billion annually for the

[01:11:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Thursday night football game a hundred and twenty million for a playoff game

[01:11:14] [SPEAKER_01]: and a hundred million for the Black Friday game so so far I have to give my

[01:11:19] [SPEAKER_01]: parent that my mom and dad have it but a lot of people's parents don't or they

[01:11:23] [SPEAKER_01]: don't know how to sign in and then the calls start because it's just too hard

[01:11:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I know yeah that'll be the next thing there'll be codes flying on my phone is

[01:11:33] [SPEAKER_01]: five minutes before I'm supposed to go on stage and I'm like what who's doing

[01:11:37] [SPEAKER_01]: what goddammit Netflix 150 million for two Christmas games so they all have to

[01:11:44] [SPEAKER_01]: be signed into Netflix and ready to go on Christmas or they're not gonna have any

[01:11:47] [SPEAKER_01]: football so so far that we were up to 103 billion 150 million so far I'm not

[01:11:57] [SPEAKER_01]: done peacock paid him a hundred and ten million for a playoff game one I mean

[01:12:10] [SPEAKER_01]: peacock is NBC but sometimes it's only on peacock and it's not on NBC and they

[01:12:16] [SPEAKER_01]: all think they're so smart I put on Instagram a video where literally now

[01:12:22] [SPEAKER_01]: they're these corporations are trolling each other through tweets on my home

[01:12:26] [SPEAKER_01]: screen I'm like grow up go to your room settle your fight and let me know

[01:12:32] [SPEAKER_03]: what happened it literally said Disney doesn't want you to be able to enjoy

[01:12:38] [SPEAKER_01]: football this was on direct TV sing and I'm like dear God all I gotta do is go

[01:12:47] [SPEAKER_01]: to ESPN plus streaming and I watched the game do you people not are you not aware

[01:12:53] [SPEAKER_01]: that I can do that anyone can do that ESPN plus what is it $8 a month I pay

[01:12:58] [SPEAKER_01]: that too I'm probably paying for half the NFL 85 bucks a year well that's fine

[01:13:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care I mean if anyone had a doubt Roger Goodell is one of the most

[01:13:11] [SPEAKER_01]: disingenuous people in sports his latest claim that the NFL being on multiple

[01:13:15] [SPEAKER_01]: streaming services and channels is the league being fan friendly and is very

[01:13:19] [SPEAKER_01]: very positive with our fans no it's not and now every bar because they all have

[01:13:24] [SPEAKER_01]: direct TV I have direct TV and I only keep it because I like the format I

[01:13:27] [SPEAKER_01]: should just ditch it but whatever you know I'm childless cat lady I got it I

[01:13:33] [SPEAKER_01]: got an extra book every now and then I'm just gonna let myself be happy with my

[01:13:36] [SPEAKER_01]: a 21 billion dollar class-action lawsuit over Sunday NFL Sunday ticket

[01:13:41] [SPEAKER_01]: it's hard to understand how NFL games being broadcast on ABC CBS Fox NBC

[01:13:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Amazon Netflix Peacock ESPN ESPN plus NFL Network NFL plus Paramount TV YouTube

[01:13:53] [SPEAKER_01]: and Renzo can be considered fan friendly and that's exactly what he said on CNBC

[01:14:03] [SPEAKER_01]: it's all about beneficial to our growth it's like live golf shot you're not

[01:14:06] [SPEAKER_01]: trying to grow anything we stop lying but streaming also brings in

[01:14:12] [SPEAKER_01]: technologies that I think are gonna be really valuable to improve the

[01:14:15] [SPEAKER_01]: experience right the experience is watching a football game there's nothing

[01:14:19] [SPEAKER_01]: more we can do you could get a different quarterback than will Levis that would

[01:14:22] [SPEAKER_01]: be more entertaining but as far as technology go technology is not gonna

[01:14:26] [SPEAKER_01]: improve my viewing of a game it were as good as it can get he just takes the

[01:14:32] [SPEAKER_01]: money and run like if I was the players I'd be like wait how much are they

[01:14:36] [SPEAKER_01]: getting every year I think the Players Union knows it absolutely the players

[01:14:43] [SPEAKER_01]: themselves I don't know I mean I don't know what they're aware of but I think

[01:14:49] [SPEAKER_01]: and then this guy wrote a whole thing about if you're a Jets fan and you paid

[01:14:52] [SPEAKER_01]: for that PSL and Aaron the Jets are gonna be terrible again and you spent

[01:14:58] [SPEAKER_01]: all your money thinking Aaron Rodgers they just got their asses kicked they

[01:15:01] [SPEAKER_01]: might win this Sunday because they should really celebrate this week I mean

[01:15:08] [SPEAKER_01]: get geared up have a big-ass tailgate this week cuz you could actually you

[01:15:12] [SPEAKER_01]: could drop you hello New York people you could get on a plane and fly down

[01:15:17] [SPEAKER_01]: here and see your Jets for cheaper than going to a real Jets game you I guarantee

[01:15:22] [SPEAKER_01]: you get your ass on JetBlue and get down here there'll be a ticket for sale for

[01:15:26] [SPEAKER_01]: 60 bucks downtown somewhere swear to God it's just I know a lot of friends of

[01:15:34] [SPEAKER_01]: mine that have season tickets and they're all willing to give them up now

[01:15:38] [SPEAKER_01]: they're mad and well they're mad about the Titans they're mad about things in

[01:15:45] [SPEAKER_01]: the NFL you know they're mad about a lot of things yeah have a feel-good story

[01:16:00] [SPEAKER_01]: to make up for all that sorry it's a little ranty these two children they're

[01:16:06] [SPEAKER_01]: young they're very cute two girls walked three days for a pint of beer the

[01:16:15] [SPEAKER_01]: wilderness walk to Britain's most remote Britain's remotest pub it's far from

[01:16:22] [SPEAKER_01]: your local it's far from your local pub for Ali Turner and her friend Glynnis

[01:16:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Matheson it took a three-day trek through one of Scotland's

[01:16:32] [SPEAKER_01]: late great wilderness last great wildernesses to reach Britain's most

[01:16:36] [SPEAKER_01]: remote pub the pair who live in Dundee battled rain high winds and midges those

[01:16:42] [SPEAKER_01]: are the blow black flies oh god for a pint at the old forge in Inverie on the

[01:16:49] [SPEAKER_01]: western coast of Scotland despite the atrocious weather they said it was all

[01:16:54] [SPEAKER_01]: worth it for a portion of the community-owned pubs hand-cut chips Oh

[01:16:59] [SPEAKER_01]: French fries they went it feels very special when you finish that Jersey

[01:17:03] [SPEAKER_01]: here's my question what about the way home can I load my backpack with pints

[01:17:10] [SPEAKER_01]: cans you got cans you got any big cans there's no roads to the city the only

[01:17:19] [SPEAKER_01]: way to reach it is by vote boat or on foot over the summer months only a

[01:17:23] [SPEAKER_01]: handful of people attempt that it's 30 miles from the last town to this town

[01:17:29] [SPEAKER_01]: they were well equipped they do look like they know what they're doing but

[01:17:33] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah like Europeans and Canadians like I went hiking in all these places in

[01:17:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Canadians they are prepared they got carabiners they got bear spray their

[01:17:42] [SPEAKER_01]: clothes are right they've got walking things and their footwear is proper you

[01:17:48] [SPEAKER_01]: go into Smoky Mountains it's some guy flip-flops and a bottle off asking me if

[01:17:53] [SPEAKER_01]: there's a snack hut up at the top yeah no it's crazy dude there's a chicken

[01:17:59] [SPEAKER_01]: waffles and a Taco Bell no there's a snack look we're at none of them are

[01:18:04] [SPEAKER_01]: pretty one guy who had a stroller he's like how much further is a waterfall I

[01:18:07] [SPEAKER_01]: actually told him the truth I told all the other ones that were just idiots I

[01:18:11] [SPEAKER_01]: was like you're almost there keep going but the guy with the stroller I'm like

[01:18:15] [SPEAKER_01]: dude you can't you can't make you got to turn around there's bears out here and

[01:18:18] [SPEAKER_01]: shit and you look at your shoes what were you thinking anyway these two girls

[01:18:23] [SPEAKER_01]: look like they knew what they were doing the journey was miserable she told BB

[01:18:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Radio Scotland it was in the middle of the summer but we were freezing it was

[01:18:31] [SPEAKER_01]: so wet thick mud sucked at their boots and they had blistering night in a tent

[01:18:36] [SPEAKER_01]: before finding shelter in a bothy the next evening I don't know what that is

[01:18:41] [SPEAKER_01]: though it was well worth it it was one of the last wildernesses we feel it was

[01:18:45] [SPEAKER_01]: special when you finish that journey that they're lucky there's nothing too

[01:18:48] [SPEAKER_01]: dangerous in Scotland some big-ass deer yeah yeah there's nothing I don't think

[01:18:55] [SPEAKER_01]: there's nothing they can eat you they celebrated with a pint oh my god I

[01:18:59] [SPEAKER_01]: would have lived there I would have had to move in well I'm here no I can't walk

[01:19:03] [SPEAKER_01]: back and french fries from some of the 300 pounds of potatoes that are shipped

[01:19:09] [SPEAKER_01]: in every week the new pubs ownership was an added attraction the old forge was

[01:19:17] [SPEAKER_01]: taken over by the community in 2022 about 70 of the communities 130 people

[01:19:22] [SPEAKER_01]: are shareholders and many helped to raise 1 million in donation and grants

[01:19:26] [SPEAKER_01]: to buy and refurbish the pub it's just a nice story and it's a special community

[01:19:31] [SPEAKER_01]: there we go see look at the children doing cool stuff yeah some of the locals

[01:19:38] [SPEAKER_01]: involved in the community by a pub manager will O'Neill moved there 13 years

[01:19:42] [SPEAKER_01]: ago from Glasgow he told the documentary they're doing a documentary the intention

[01:19:46] [SPEAKER_01]: was have a long weekend but I fell in love with the place some people bought

[01:19:50] [SPEAKER_01]: shares not for a monetary benefit but to support the business the place has almost

[01:19:56] [SPEAKER_01]: a mythical value the strong community spirit and the people on their quest for

[01:20:00] [SPEAKER_01]: a pint that's great all right there's feel-good story termites I got some

[01:20:05] [SPEAKER_01]: thank yous to do first we'll do we'll do some quote well I'll do the thank yous

[01:20:19] [SPEAKER_01]: know they're young and I'm not they they flew from Kansas City to New York for

[01:20:27] [SPEAKER_01]: the US Open but they had just like flown to Kansas City and that's where I'd go

[01:20:33] [SPEAKER_01]: man we could just watch the US Open on the couch we don't need to because then

[01:20:40] [SPEAKER_01]: he's got a fly be it'll be back by Monday for practice in a Barbara

[01:20:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Walters interview Tay Tay said if a woman shares her experience in writing

[01:20:51] [SPEAKER_01]: she's over emotional or she might be crazy as if you say I don't know let's
