[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Baby cat is in the house and under the table and choppo is down there in the event

[00:01:24] [SPEAKER_01]: He wakes up and freaks out

[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I may have to take a pause

[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Because he doesn't like being in the house with the door not someone open, but it's 101 degrees

[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't get that luxury today and he could go apeshit. So I'm just warning you termites

[00:01:39] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Candy these are candy break gummy bears from Chuck John

[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Chuck and John now never heard a candy break. They look good

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_01]: It's hard to get close to a hair boo though. I got a lot of those

[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Mmm second best I've ever had

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Candy break

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_01]: These are really good. I put them up there with the hair booze

[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe a tie oh

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah

[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Really good not good on your crowns

[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, crowns in your mouth might want to be careful, but

[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I've never had ones that I'd said okay. Those are acceptable. No

[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes they have them in the snack bag

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Box on American or Delta. I don't remember which one and they're horrid

[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_01]: God

[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Or again god damn it if I'm eating a gummy bear, do you think I give a shit?

[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_01]: If it's organic or not

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_01]: No

[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, and then this is from Kim on Nashville termite the smokehouse beef brisket dip

[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Made with hickory smoked beef. I've never heard of a beef brisket dip

[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_01]: This could be a southern Midwest delight at a Super Bowl party

[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_01]: You really want to woo people over or just a taste of the south

[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's see. Wow

[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I kind of looks like some sort of tuna melt

[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's see

[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_01]: It's good. Yeah

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_01]: it kind of tastes like my beat my

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_01]: cheese beef ball that I made

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a little thick I would eat it up

[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Will it see that's why I'm not a cook. I don't know shit like that would put this in the microwave and wait and see what happened

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no put in the microwave. Let's say

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_01]: 17 seconds

[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yep, I will try it later

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Good. All right setting these things aside

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Where are we going on the road people?

[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Here's where we're going

[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_01]: This weekend this weekend is a big weekend the Venetian. I saw

[00:04:04] [SPEAKER_01]: My old home of ten years the mirage

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_01]: They were taking the sign down the road on a flatbed

[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Very sad little era that's over everybody liked the mirage because it was medium-sized. It wasn't so humongous

[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I will miss it and all my little friends there Victor the bartender

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Kana who was in charge of us

[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_01]: So many fun people

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_01]: And it was but the sign is going to the neon museum

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_01]: They have a neon museum in Vegas which I have never been to when I want to go to I will be in Vegas this weekend

[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_01]: This coming weekend Saturday

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Friday and Saturday

[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Labor day. Yeah

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, September 6th. Well, I'll just go through September Terry town that's sold out though

[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Wilmington that's sold up

[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Columbus, Ohio Lexington, Kentucky. I always get excited about Kentucky

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Columbus I have all my friends so I'm always excited about that too, but Kentucky. There's just always something weird going on

[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Oklahoma City so excited to see where they're building that thing this guy's great for thing Dallas always fun Fox Woods

[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_01]: That's three the casino. Yeah, it's always fun at three days before my birthday two days before my birthday

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll be in New York City a town hall

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_01]: October Troy, New York, Burlington, Vermont, Salt Lake City, Utah Spartanburg, South Carolina

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Wilmington, North Carolina

[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Edmund and then November Edmonton, Alberta Calgary, Alberta. Let's go Canadian termites. Yeah

[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_01]: So this week I was in New Hampshire I

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't even know where I am in those little states and then somebody drives me five miles and they're like, oh, welcome to Delaware

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_01]: What the fuck?

[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean that does not happen in the Midwest unless you live in the Mississippi

[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_01]: You could go to Illinois or Missouri in one flat hot second

[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_01]: The beach there is gorgeous. It was a wonderful 75 degrees

[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Just perfect for a beach walk and they have that flat stand the good stand. It's hard like South Carolina, but

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Love South Carolina. It's probably one of my favorite places Charleston and Kiewa

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_01]: However, water is not as pretty as it is in New Hampshire. Little browner. Well, South Carolina is kind of brown and murky and

[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then I read all these reports about sharks and I don't want to ever like North Carolina's got a shit ton of sharks

[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_01]: So in South Carolina to but so does New Hampshire because I follow these sharks on Twitter and they could

[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a bunch of them have been tagged the great whites

[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_01]: They've been tagged Mary Catherine's the biggest one and she she can go a thousand miles in a very short time

[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_01]: So just when you think you're safe, you're not and I saw people because the water

[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_01]: It's it's a it's a long tide and it's a lower beach like a flatter

[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_01]: shallow or it's almost like a cove and

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_01]: People were walking way way out and they're like at waist high and I'm like

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_01]: He could get you there. You don't need to go that far. You're too far

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_01]: If you lose an arm, we can't find it come closer

[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Come closer just you could get into water say up to your mid thigh and then well depending on how tall you are

[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_01]: You're not gonna be in that big of a danger zone

[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_01]: No, no and then I went to a bar there that's super fun called the goat and I wanted this glass and I got this glass

[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not gonna tell you how I got this glass because it won't get me in trouble

[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_01]: But it could get it as someone else in trouble, but let's just say I got it was yeah, it was

[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_01]: It is now mine

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And

[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_01]: They had very good fried shrimp a lot of fried food at the New Hampshire and as I said on stage

[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I've never walked on a beach where I thought I'm smoking hot

[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I will wear a thong

[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Rethinking it

[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_01]: There's some bigger folks down there that just when we get into fried fudge. We've gone too far

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_01]: We've gone too far America. We've got you ever get your fried food or your fudge, but we're not frying the fudge

[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean as a treat every now and then fine

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're very proud of their clam chowder, which is different than Boston's clam chowder very proud of that

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Well they put a giant piece of bacon on top

[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Instead of grinding it up and it has an orange hue versus white

[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I kind of prefer Boston's like I went to legal seafood at 6 a.m. At the airport and begged for them to give me chowder to take home

[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_01]: The answer was no

[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they didn't have it made I mean what time do I expect someone to get there three?

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_01]: You know you get over there and you're gonna make chowder for the for the people that want it to go

[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean you can't so many only so many things we can ask of people

[00:08:45] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a great the gig though. It's at this place called have to be it's so historic

[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And it feels like a giant giant saloon

[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean you can't you don't see it, but it seats 1700 people maybe 18

[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Louis Armstrong was there. I mean it's been going since the early 1900s

[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_01]: It's very cool Led Zeppelin Bob. We're I mean it's all mostly music. We don't get any shout outs on the walls

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_01]: No comedians get nothing, but that's okay. We lay low. We're like vipers in the grass

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't even know we're there. Yep, then we steal your gig

[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't even know what happens because we're so much easier than musicians. We're just saying I love mine

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Yep, that's why I got a lot of things backstage when we talk about that later

[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_01]: and

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It was also that was a wonderful gig. Thanks to everybody who came out. It was fantasy football draft

[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_01]: If you're not if you're not a fantasy person

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't worry. This won't take long, but I'm gonna tell you

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Here's who I got

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_01]: in

[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_01]: One league

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_01]: This is the league I care about

[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I have a friendly I have the nephews league and then like a comedian one. Yeah, my starting team

[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_01]: This is the comedian friend one

[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Louis Louis auto drafted

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Black the comedian and then he got mad and he got first pick

[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I said Louis there's nothing more the computer can do for you

[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_01]: You got first pick and you auto drafted so you don't have to think I

[00:10:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Lived I like to pick my people because I have emotions about these people

[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_01]: And there's certain people I don't want to root for and then there's a lot of people

[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I do that maybe I shouldn't pick them but I'm emotionally attached and then my friend Dory watched

[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Hard knocks about the lions and now she wants all the lions because she fell in love with them all and then

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_01]: But she's an Eagles fan. So really she wants all Eagles

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna she'll hit me up because I took a Philadelphia wide receiver Smith and

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_01]: She's gonna start she's gonna start picking around everybody's teams and gathering Eagles

[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And then I'm gonna make her trade me for somebody that's so awesome

[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_01]: And she'll say fine. Yeah, and then Lou will go

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And then the same way to re give you these people and like what he's proposed a trade Louis

[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_01]: You have to propose a trade. I got Patrick my homes

[00:11:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, in this league you can have two quarterbacks playing at the same time

[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_01]: It was a beginner league, but we're sticking with it Jonathan Taylor in Indianapolis

[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Etienne Jacksonville. He's wonderful Stefan Diggs who's now in Houston. Yeah, is it the Vonte Smith?

[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_01]: No on the Eagles. Is it the Vonte?

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Wide receiver. Yeah, was he a packer?

[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_01]: This is why I would get fired off those football

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Alabama

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_01]: George Kittle. Oh, he was a crimson tiger who I love and saw in person at the post Malone thing

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's just as adorable as you would think

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_01]: He almost looks like a drummer from the band Alabama like there are or maybe like a bass player from slipknot

[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Like he doesn't really look

[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_01]: He looks like wild. He doesn't really look like your typical athlete. I guess he's very cute though

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_01]: CJ Stroud of Houston

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Montgomery and Detroit running back Ray Rice why receiver just oh rush eat rice. Sorry. Yeah, you're right

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Who's Ray Rice? Ray Rice? No, I didn't

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think he was involved in that murder thing in Baltimore Google Ray Rice

[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_01]: With what's his face at that Atlanta club? He's a running back Ray Rice see you question my thought high

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Was he with what's his name that night?

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_01]: He's a Capricorn. Oh Jesus Christ. I have Justin Tucker as my kicker. That's a Baltum Baltimoreon

[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_01]: One of Louis's people except he's really a commander's fan, which is so sad

[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, his life is gonna suck till the day's dead when it comes to that and then I have the Jets defense

[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't really know why but I also

[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Last thing I sneaky so sneaky

[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I read on Twitter that you just miss Schuster was going to the chiefs

[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_01]: So I ran in and I put him on waiver claims

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And I got him because I got up before everyone else and then the children aren't school are getting ready for school

[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_01]: So I screwed all the children because when Jack sees this he's gonna be so mad because it's he's a chief now and

[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_01]: And then won't

[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Know he's too old for the children's league. He got moved up a league

[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_01]: With his own money. Yeah, and it's not cheap. It's like 150 buck buy-in. Yeah, you don't know with that kid

[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just like pry an air from his lungs. Jesus. He will not give you a dime

[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's the slowest one in the draft I could have killed him my sister

[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_01]: My sister's hexing me Jesus Christ. It's like he's on cocaine. What are you guys doing?

[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_01]: He's running around the house screaming it then his dad had to leave halfway through the draft

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_01]: So there's a total meltdown and then Emily who doesn't know anything about football. I was like, I'll totally help you

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_01]: But like well, okay called dad. How about that?

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And then some other just stars of my other pick. I took Lamar Jackson Brock Purdy. I love

[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I got some good people. It's gonna be a good year

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_01]: And if you don't know how to play face of you know, I think I might do

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_01]: There have been enough people that said it but it's almost too late. Is it too late?

[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you can start to the end of the first week. Okay

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Well shit, I don't know maybe I'll do a 10 minute tutorial if I would tell people how to start one so you can learn

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not hard and I hate apps. I hate upgrades. I hate apps

[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I hate change but these apps are pretty easy

[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And you have to follow my friend Adam rank

[00:14:40] [SPEAKER_01]: If you want to learn like who to take and or Cynthia Freud

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Freud Lydden I can never say the whole no. She's super smart on who to take

[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_01]: So it was a very good draft very happy with everyone

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_01]: My team is ready

[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, Juju's got to sign the paperwork because I looked at my app this morning and I'm like

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Why does it say in my thing? He's not on a fucking team. Yes. He is he's on smalls breakfast be your team

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he is

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_01]: He's in my team

[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and the other one I'm cat cat meow

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_01]: That's my team name. No cat meow meow

[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_01]: cat meow meow

[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_01]: The one nephew's powerhouse 2010

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_01]: My friend Heidi Heidi she's red red wine anyway

[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I like people's names and then my brother's texting about the pick them pool. It's a very busy September

[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know don't tell me there's not things to do people. I don't want to hear about anybody being bored

[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm so excited. I can't stand it

[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_01]: No, and we're gonna get to the show in one second and I got an snuck in another game of pickleball

[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I love it. Yeah, I love it. Yeah, I love everything about it. My drink is right there

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I play with other old people so after we get to about six or seven everybody's like you want to take a break drink some seltzers

[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_01]: The course are crowded. We're not holding anybody up

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then we have a little seltzer and then we go back and nobody's trying too hard because we don't want to tear

[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Knees or ankles. It's just a lovely little

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but there are like 20 something there's a lot of young people everybody says it's for old people

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I think old people just have the most free time, but there's a shit ton of young people up there

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're bashing it. I mean the one girl was had a double-handed backhand like yeah, like Serena Williams

[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, holy don't put me over there with those people. That's that's crazy talk

[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's violent. I don't not hear for violence for Christ's sake. All right, Queen news

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Well bad news for Queen share

[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah her recovering addict son Elijah blue almond seen drinking and smoking with mystery woman at Chateau Marmont a

[00:17:08] What

[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Deaths there's an issue with the wife share is not fan

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I believe she probably does hate her. I don't know but I here's the thing so

[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Because I lived in LA for a long time. I only went to Chateau Marmont twice

[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I never went to cool places because I actually preferred Barney's Barney's beenery

[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_01]: They have pitchers of beer best breakfast burrito in LA and their sports screens everywhere

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_01]: So if I would get home on a Sunday, I could go there at 10 o'clock all the games were on

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I called Barney's beenery quicksand because once I went in and I never came out and I could walk home

[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_01]: But there's Chateau Marmont's where the fancy people go the but it yeah, I don't even care like I'm single

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I can spend my money, but you know cocktails like $20. It's fucking ridiculous

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_01]: But they do have an outside part that feels good

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's just trouble up there and if you're there hanging out you're definitely drinking

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I would say 90% chance people can smoke, you know fine. I

[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_01]: liked my six back in the day, but

[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_01]: This guy has problems and that's not a place you want to be if you're a problem person

[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_01]: There's too many temptations. This is where John Belushi died for the record. It's Lindsay Lohan used to be

[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Dried out of there every other Friday. Yeah, hey cuckoo towns over there going nuts

[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Somebody said he looked he looked a lot better than last year the same time he passed out on the sidewalk

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not hard to look better than me and passed out on the sidewalk

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's 48

[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_01]: This is what I don't know with not just famous people

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Am I supposed to do with this guy's 48? Yeah, I'm his mom, but you know, I can't make him do shit. It's 48

[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_01]: He was pretty low-key except he looked like sunset Jesus wearing colored robes around the hotel

[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay

[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Sunset Jesus who I've met

[00:19:04] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a guy that dresses like Jesus and he walks up down Sunset Boulevard

[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I met him one day outside of Barney's and I offered to buy him a beer

[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I said you make me smile every time I see you would you like a free beer?

[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_01]: And he said absolutely and Jesus sat down there was outdoor tables

[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_01]: And he sat down and had a beer. Well, actually I give him a picture

[00:19:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they weren't expensive

[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's Jesus. I figure he can handle it, you know

[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Sunset Jesus real name Kevin Lee light was a local eccentric who was famous for wandering up and down Ellie's famous Sunset Boulevard

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Well dressed as Jesus

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Until his death from pneumonia in 2018. I did not know he died

[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah

[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Elijah spent most of his time at the pool chain smoking with a friend early night in the evening

[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_01]: He was friend with drive him to somewhere for a couple hours. It's just it

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I feel bad for everyone involved because you know these kind of little

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Eventually it can be worked out but it's gonna be a long weird ride. That's all I'm saying on that one

[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let's moving on. Let me get my paper straight straight

[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Snoops home he did a very good job. He deserves a break. Yeah

[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_01]: He's kind of old and I thought he was on the Suns. I put him on the Phoenix Suns

[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why and I'm like God. He's been playing forever

[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got to be tired

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, why is he why is he hanging out with Tay Tay? I mean they're probably the same age

[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And then one of them was locked in the base basement of a lake of the Ozarks house

[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Which is where I have a house and who knew right next to me there could be some lady hoarding it

[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_01]: She's hiding it from PETA. I can't wait. It's on HBO. It's called chimp craze or I don't know I

[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Bradley Cooper is not in it either

[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I

[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't know Blake Lively

[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, she's a southern Missouri youngster

[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Busted out of that. Yeah

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I like her music

[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Some of the songs are very strange, but then others I really like it's a mixed bag on that one

[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_01]: She's very upset

[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Because people are stalking her family

[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_01]: She's got she's very very

[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_01]: listen to this though

[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_01]: she's very

[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_01]: She's very and I'm not a hugger either. I'll do it

[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_01]: But my family just not like that. We're not touchy-feely people

[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like my dad would just pat me on the back and go see you next time Frank

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, Frank. We'll call call each other Frank because for one year he would look at my younger brother and go

[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_01]: What's up Frank and he meant it? I go do you have another family somewhere dad with a son named Frank and that's not even a name in

[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Our family it was very strange. So we all just started calling each other Frank

[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, she's very mad that fans are stalking her family and she's not gonna give up her morals

[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, I'll read it next week

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_01]: But she's very upset with what this is brought and it is bullshit like her parents are in a small town in Missouri

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Her sister I think is still there. You know that their people are stalking them. It's fucking weird

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Like very weird, I've had people kind of well they would come on my it's my dad's it was my dad's fault

[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_01]: All I had to do is scream stop answering people on Facebook

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Because some fans would go one step further, but it was always nice

[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It was well intention and he wanted to do it

[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_01]: But then there there then I'm getting messages your dad hasn't answered me in four days. What the fuck is going on

[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly where it should be

[00:32:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Update

[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_01]: This is crazy and I believe it

[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe because I spent so much time in Catholic schools. I do believe in weird miracles

[00:32:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Me and my sister were arguing not arguing debating about whether God gets involved in small things

[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Me and my dad voted no we think we always thought he was a little more cosmic, okay

[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Kate's small picture

[00:32:42] [SPEAKER_01]: She thinks if she prays really hard about like say she really all of her plants are dead

[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_01]: If she prays really really hard. I said you think God gives you shit about your garden from Home Depot

[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_01]: She does and I said well

[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I wish I could think like that and then my nephew who's young is like Kathleen

[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I think you're living in the absence of God and that's why I know whoa. Hey, hey, I didn't say that

[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I just said he's the CEO is a little out of touch and then my nephew goes well

[00:33:12] [SPEAKER_01]: That's why we have saints. I said right. I believe in that I contact all the stains quite frequently

[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I just figure God is God. I don't know whatever but I do believe in miracles

[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that said nephew is in my fantasy league. It's probably why he got first pick in that leaf

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Because he's got God and I don't that's why I ended up sixth

[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I am in the absence of God when there's only eight teams and I'm six clearly

[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not buddy enough with the right people

[00:33:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_01]: So I do believe though in miracles

[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Like crazy shit can happen

[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Mystery deepens in the case of the Missouri none

[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Who was buried five years ago, but whose body hasn't decomposed at all. This is highly atypical

[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_01]: You can go see it

[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_01]: The church is open

[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Listen to this. We covered this a long time ago, but now we're into the five-year period of this going on

[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I remember that yeah

[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_01]: None who died in 2019 has not yet decomposed according to the bitch of a bishop of the diet

[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_01]: diocese of Kansas City

[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_01]: St. Joseph sister will amena Lancaster the founders of the Benedictines of Mary Queen of the Apostles

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_01]: passed away on May 29th

[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_01]: 2019 her body was exhumed in April of 2023 when it was exhumed it was found to be remarkably preserved despite not being embalmed

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_01]: And being buried in an unsealed wooden coffin

[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_01]: The discovery sparked widespread interest in a pilgrimage to the small town of Gower, Missouri

[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_01]: So that's closer to Kansas City if you're thinking about going where land Kessers body was placed on public display

[00:35:00] [SPEAKER_01]: the bishop

[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Jimmy Johnson just like the coach

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's named Jimmy once James but Jimmy judge can commission a team of medical experts to investigate the case after a thorough

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Metal examination the team concluded that her condition was highly atypical for the time elapsed since her death

[00:35:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Within the limits of what has been observed the body

[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Does not appear to have experienced a decomposition that would have normally been on it

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Expected under such previous burial conditions. Yeah, here's what's crazy

[00:35:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Her her whole she's old school. She had on the whole black and white deal

[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Not just the veil or the habit

[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean she didn't she had the whole thing the clothes have not disintegrated either

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Nothing but the lining of the casket all of that is decomposed

[00:35:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, wow

[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_01]: The team inspected the casket

[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_01]: interviews were connected with the eyewitnesses to events immediately preceding the burial in the final report

[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_01]: The investigative team noted that the condition of sister will meet with during was notable for lack of any detected features any

[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Of decomposition

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Despite the casket's lining having completely deteriorated her habit or clothing showed no features of break breakdown

[00:36:15] [SPEAKER_01]: They still have concluded that the condition of her body is highly atypical for the interview of nearly four years since her death

[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's really really strange

[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Um and she's she's a black woman which is crazy because there's just not that many black nuns. I mean in the NSA's anyway

[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, especially in a small town

[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_01]: They're looking her the Benedictines of Mary Queen of the Apostles the religious order

[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Founded they are edified by the continued interest in their foundress

[00:36:51] [SPEAKER_01]: She founded them and she they look forward to the beginning of the process of canonization when the time is right

[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_01]: The nuns remains are in a glass case in the Abbey's church and she's able to be viewed each day per the abbey's website

[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_01]: We put the picture in this notes. It's great. She looks like a wax figure

[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Like in a Ripley's believe it or not or something

[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_01]: In the meantime we're happy they're welcoming guests

[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_01]: There you go. That's cool. Yeah

[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_01]: They should charge and raise some money and then give it back to this group of nuns

[00:37:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Holy shit, they found it. Yeah slid it in

[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_01]: This is from Heather research assistant based in Phoenix, Arizona if they haven't spontaneously combusted in

[00:37:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Amateur fossil hunter hundred stumbles upon seven foot mammoth tusk in a mississippi stream

[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_01]: What?

[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the first time a columbian mammoth tusk has ever been found in the state and there's a picture of this skinny man

[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_01]: In very murky shallow water

[00:37:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And then here's the tusk if I would have seen this thing the way it's laying

[00:37:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I would have thought it was an anaconda anaconda upside down and run for my life. Oh my god. It. Yep. It looks like a giant snake

[00:38:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, he initially believed it to be a mascadoon tusk

[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_01]: He later learned it was a fully intact tusk from a columbian mammoth the first ever found in the state

[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_01]: He often eddy his name is eddy. He also go often goes on fossil hunts walking along the rural creeks of mississippi with his eyes

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Peeled do you know how many snakes she probably stumbles upon?

[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Cotton mouse copperheads bad snakes

[00:38:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's south. I mean

[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, and then the cotton mouth because they're blackish brownish they go

[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_01]: That's a water snake

[00:38:34] [SPEAKER_01]: You'll know when it opens his mouth if I see that fucker opens his mouth open its mouth. We're way too late in the game

[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I've already had a heart attack

[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, no the whole thing he found he thought it was just part of it. It was exciting

[00:38:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I knew it was a tusk

[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_01]: It didn't occur to me that it would be a mammoth tusk instead of a mastodoon tusk until later

[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_01]: When I learned it was a mammoth not a mastodon. I got even more excited. I never

[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Found any part of a mammoth. I always hope to find but that's pretty rare down here

[00:38:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Um pretty rare is an understatement most fossil tusk I've found in the state are just fragments

[00:39:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Most are likely to be attributed to the more common mastodon

[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, how great is that awesome good for him like it? Yeah, he looks like a guy who would do this

[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean he just looks like a normal

[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_01]: 50-something white guy

[00:39:22] [SPEAKER_01]: With glasses just out there, you know being as

[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Strangeless, so

[00:39:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Breaking news we're moving on to news. Okay. This is crazy

[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And this was all over the news in new hamshire

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Northeastern town issues voluntary lockdown to just spread

[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_01]: To prevent the spread of potentially mosquito-borne disease eee triple e they call it which is encephalitis for the record

[00:39:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Which can kill you

[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, um

[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a town in massachusetts

[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_01]: They've enacted a voluntary lockdown. Uh the period from dust to dawn is considered peak mosquito hours

[00:40:02] [SPEAKER_01]: The advisory designates four communities at critical at critical risk. It's all they're all in massachusetts

[00:40:09] [SPEAKER_01]: There's one human case but throughout the state mosquitoes have tested positive for eee

[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Um an infected person who lives in oxford remains

[00:40:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Hospitalized courageously battling this virus all from a skeed bite

[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, the lockdowns are considered recommendations. There will be no enforcement if residents do not comply

[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_01]: We want to educate our residents in the series of the illness and make them aware of the risk

[00:40:33] [SPEAKER_01]: However, if they want to use the town fields outside these recommendations

[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_01]: They will have to show proof of insurance and sign an indemnity indemnity. I can't say

[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_01]: A form in this club. No in indemnification

[00:40:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Indimni I can't say

[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, it's just saying that you were told

[00:40:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Right because you were told you were warned um

[00:40:57] [SPEAKER_01]: There's three other there's uh schools are working to reschedule and adjust their sports schedules

[00:41:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, are you kidding with the craziness of today's parents?

[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, we have a soccer game come hella high water at six o'clock at night. Fuck you. Yep

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_01]: We are good little kevin is on his way to being you know

[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_01]: messy and

[00:41:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean no, uh

[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_01]: It's and sephalitis is caused by a virus that has spread through the bite of an infected mosquito

[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Only a few case. I mean they're they're telling them dust through dawn

[00:41:30] [SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy oxford, massachusetts

[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, here's what the symptoms include fever vomiting diarrhea headaches stiff neck seizures behavioral changes and drowsiness

[00:41:39] [SPEAKER_01]: They usually appear five to ten days after being bitten

[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I get I get

[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Annihilated by mosquitoes. I don't know why some people don't really get bit that much. I don't

[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_01]: They like me they like probably I probably smell like a cat

[00:41:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah

[00:41:56] [SPEAKER_01]: That's weird though. I've never heard of lockdowns

[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_01]: they're voluntary

[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_01]: But I would at least it'll make you think if i'm going out on to walk the dog at seven o'clock at night

[00:42:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Put on pants socks long sleeve shirt still doesn't stop your neck in your face though

[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you need the whole beekeeper deal for sure

[00:42:23] [SPEAKER_01]: News moving on speaking to the nfl

[00:42:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna make this fast because it's hard

[00:42:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And i'm gonna try to break it down for next week specifically but the nfl

[00:42:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I

[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_01]: To watch every game

[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_01]: You do you have to have youtube tv?

[00:42:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And then you buy the games

[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_01]: It's an add-on and i'm gonna next week i'm going to get you the prices rolls and the or now apple tv

[00:42:51] [SPEAKER_01]: You can get all the games through that, but you have to buy

[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_01]: their package

[00:42:56] [SPEAKER_01]: They're both I did a little preliminary math my math's always pretty sketchy, but you can count on a round about

[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_01]: A little bit of rounding

[00:43:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Lot of rounding to watch every game. It's gonna cost you about 900 bucks

[00:43:08] [SPEAKER_01]: And they say they're trying to grow the game

[00:43:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Bullshit Roger giddell and the nfl mob are it's so pathetic

[00:43:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Because if you know, you're a household

[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Mom dad people are working whatever two parents that are working and a couple kids

[00:43:23] [SPEAKER_01]: To for let's say somebody's a big nfl fan

[00:43:26] [SPEAKER_01]: And then to say I'd like to spend 900 dollars because i'm in fantasy football

[00:43:29] [SPEAKER_01]: That's why I want to see all the games because I have people on every team and I need all of it

[00:43:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I need every all of it. I need thursday

[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I need all of it all of this game

[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And I mean there's no other reason why would I be watching jacksonville against baltimore in a real world?

[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not my teams not even my league divisions nothing

[00:43:51] [SPEAKER_01]: But I have baltimore's kicker. I got a root on justin tucker. Come on

[00:43:56] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think I have any jaguars. Um

[00:44:01] [SPEAKER_01]: But 900 bucks

[00:44:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I have etion right he's jaguar three people

[00:44:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll stop all this board stock. I know it's confusing if you don't play or you don't care. Um

[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I just think

[00:44:14] [SPEAKER_01]: So here's um youtube is making a sunday ticket available

[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_01]: So youtube tv is its own thing in case you don't know that but then you have to buy the apps because like my brother was like

[00:44:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm cutting cable. I'm just going to go with youtube tv

[00:44:26] [SPEAKER_01]: But when you count all the apps you have to buy

[00:44:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know it all seems the same

[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_01]: If you want to sign up through youtube app on their iphone or ipad you're going to pay

[00:44:39] [SPEAKER_01]: $679 annually if you want a bundale sunday ticket in red zone

[00:44:42] [SPEAKER_01]: It's going to cost you $739 annually and those prices via very youtube tv

[00:44:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I just I think that's I think that's mean and you're not really trying to

[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_01]: You're not

[00:44:55] [SPEAKER_01]: growing the game. Um

[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll save that this one because it's more sports people probably get bored with that. Let's talk about starbucks

[00:45:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I know a lot of people like sports, but the ones that don't just don't and you're not you're not going to trick them

[00:45:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, we're moving on to starbucks. Let's let's have a chat about starbucks

[00:45:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll admit

[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Before a show I like to grab an iced latte

[00:45:23] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[00:45:24] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's six bucks. Yeah. Yeah, and you know whatever I have it but

[00:45:30] [SPEAKER_01]: To do that every day adds up for people like if you didn't do it

[00:45:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Starbucks because I travel every week is a is a known entity to me

[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I know what i'm getting if I didn't travel every week. I would just go get something by my house

[00:45:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Meaning not them

[00:45:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Right. Um, well they fired a new ceo

[00:45:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, his name

[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_01]: is brian

[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_01]: nicole

[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_01]: nickel nickel nickel nickel maybe

[00:46:02] [SPEAKER_01]: His total compensation as ceo could add up to 113 million dollars

[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_01]: What the average annual wage for starbucks starbucks barista is less around 49 000

[00:46:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Now here's the first thing what I read it. I'm like fuck brian

[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Nobody on earth is worth 113 million dollars unless you're like

[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Einstein or I mean are you cure and cancer or are in many people are those people should get 113 million dollars

[00:46:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Are you doing something for the greater good of humanity?

[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_01]: If you are

[00:46:36] [SPEAKER_01]: And you're smart enough to do it

[00:46:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Then maybe you get 113 million dollars in my opinion

[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_01]: But then I started reading what brian did and i'm like well

[00:46:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he is worth

[00:46:49] [SPEAKER_01]: He turned chipotle around

[00:46:51] [SPEAKER_01]: They were losing so so so so much money and he he's one of the people that's responsible for something

[00:46:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't I don't care for but I understand. He's responsible for the constantly rotating menu atago bell

[00:47:04] Well

[00:47:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't want a woman they cancel one of my favorites

[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, no brian moved on that's where he used to be

[00:47:16] [SPEAKER_01]: So they hired him away

[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_01]: He could um now the 113 million is all built in with stocks and bonuses

[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_01]: But his base pay will be 1.6 million

[00:47:24] [SPEAKER_01]: But if we also be able to earn a bonus of 7.2

[00:47:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Blah blah blah and and these are all very quickly within the first six months

[00:47:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Then he's gonna get a stock stock grant. He'll be eligible for 23 million dollar stock grant

[00:47:38] I

[00:47:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't know I if anybody can do it this guy does have a very good track record

[00:47:45] [SPEAKER_01]: And maybe if your starbucks 113 million dollars doesn't seem like that much money, which means we are paying too much for our coffee

[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[00:47:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Do I think the person working there should make as much as the ceo who's got to fix it? Well, no, but

[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I

[00:48:01] [SPEAKER_01]: So everybody was yay. Yay. Yay starbucks stock price rose i'm gonna go buy some stock in it

[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna see if brian can do it right, but then everybody got really mad what happened was

[00:48:15] [SPEAKER_01]: ceo the starbucks new ceo was a messiah

[00:48:19] [SPEAKER_01]: And then everyone found out about his 1 000 mile private jet super commute

[00:48:25] [SPEAKER_01]: He will be getting his own jet

[00:48:29] [SPEAKER_01]: To go from newport beach california, which is south of los angeles in los angeles traffic

[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_01]: That should take you nine and a half hours. Here's the thing though. There's an airport

[00:48:40] [SPEAKER_01]: In orange county california called the john wane airport and it is lovely

[00:48:43] [SPEAKER_01]: And he could fly to on stop well

[00:48:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if they

[00:48:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Well south west goes out a long beach. I know that i've taken it but he goes to seattle. He's got to be in seattle three days a week

[00:48:55] [SPEAKER_01]: But here's the thing starbucks

[00:49:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah

[00:49:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I would say no you have to be here talk about working from home

[00:49:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And you take a private jet. It's probably a two hour flight maybe further

[00:49:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Washington always looks closed on a map

[00:49:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Till you get on the plane it's like three. I think it was like three hours from l.a.

[00:49:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Alaska flies it

[00:49:22] [SPEAKER_01]: He could get on alaska

[00:49:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And he doesn't even have to go to lax

[00:49:28] [SPEAKER_01]: That's lazy

[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_01]: But here's the biggest thing

[00:49:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Starbucks, you know, they're telling me could you just bring your own cup in here? We're trying to save paper

[00:49:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, okay, but if we're really doing the green thing and we're going to go all in where you're not you're going to give me a

[00:49:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Paper straw that melts into goddamn seconds because of plastic. Okay. Okay. Okay your choice

[00:49:49] [SPEAKER_01]: You get to do what you do

[00:49:51] [SPEAKER_01]: But then you don't give him a private jet for one person flying back and forth

[00:49:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean

[00:49:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh their stock went up 25 percent

[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_01]: The minute he was announced

[00:50:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh-huh

[00:50:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It's been the the the good news was overshadowed by a public

[00:50:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Backlash over perks in his contract that allow him to work remotely from his home in newport beach and commute

[00:50:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm very yeah, I don't know. I know

[00:50:20] [SPEAKER_01]: But i'm old school like that

[00:50:22] [SPEAKER_01]: But i'm not saying you have to stay all day

[00:50:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm very lenient

[00:50:26] [SPEAKER_01]: You can even go day drinking but you have to come back

[00:50:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Just swing by like at three and then you could leave if could you what are your good hours? Like my good hours are 10 to noon

[00:50:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm on fire and then

[00:50:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh four to six is nap time. So maybe one to three

[00:50:44] [SPEAKER_01]: And I would be fine with that. I don't nap the whole time. I just watched

[00:50:49] [SPEAKER_01]: ESPN or the local news

[00:50:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Gotta get to walking the dog weather

[00:50:53] [SPEAKER_01]: This is a good time to walk your dog

[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_01]: um, anyway

[00:50:58] [SPEAKER_01]: He was not required to relocate to the company you agree. This is what the uh

[00:51:03] [SPEAKER_01]: The letter said in his offer you agree to commute from your residence to the company's headquarters

[00:51:09] [SPEAKER_01]: and you know

[00:51:10] [SPEAKER_01]: As required to perform your duties responsibilities

[00:51:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's eligible for business related travel travel between his city's residents and companies headquarters

[00:51:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And then i'm sure I don't know maybe he's got kids

[00:51:21] [SPEAKER_01]: And you go well my kids are in school. Do you think my dad would have given a flying rat's ass if we had to move schools?

[00:51:27] [SPEAKER_01]: No, no

[00:51:28] [SPEAKER_01]: This is gonna make you a better person

[00:51:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And we're all leaving it would have all been just been done and we would just go

[00:51:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's why I don't know

[00:51:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I maybe he doesn't want to live in seattle. I like it, but I like the rain

[00:51:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I love the overcast

[00:51:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Newport beach is very fancy

[00:51:47] [SPEAKER_01]: It's very fancy, but I also

[00:51:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't love the heat. I don't love sunny every day. Sometimes I don't feel sunny

[00:51:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Right, I'd like the weather to reflect my feelings

[00:51:58] [SPEAKER_01]: But sometimes I don't feel so divided sunny

[00:52:00] [SPEAKER_01]: You just want a day off of responsibility

[00:52:03] [SPEAKER_01]: And if it's raining you go, I can't do that. It's raining right

[00:52:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, and then they're saying what about your hypocrites?

[00:52:10] [SPEAKER_01]: He's gonna use the company jet on a daily basis to get to work. Well, let's see he would have to fly twice a week

[00:52:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh-huh minimum right on the jet

[00:52:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Um

[00:52:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, here's but here's somebody who's a somebody

[00:52:25] [SPEAKER_01]: It's somebody's all my page

[00:52:27] [SPEAKER_01]: CEOs decided to travel on a private jet for work instead of relocating somebody on twitter

[00:52:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Meanwhile, we're supposed to save the environment and have our coffee with a paper straw that gets soggy in minutes

[00:52:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. Yeah exactly. Um

[00:52:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And then somebody joked about the reusable cups and what a bunch of performative hypocrites

[00:52:44] [SPEAKER_01]: They're bio friendly environ friendly branding no company who truly cares about the climate would agree to this

[00:52:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. What do you say termites? Did we give him the jet at our termite meeting? Do we vote?

[00:52:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you just want to ruin the whole environment you want to say plastic straws and the jet you're doubly

[00:53:06] [SPEAKER_01]: You're doubling down

[00:53:08] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I god damn it. I want a paper cup. I want a plastic straw

[00:53:11] [SPEAKER_01]: If there's any kind of lithium I could go berry

[00:53:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, that'd be great

[00:53:18] [SPEAKER_00]: No use for a paper straw

[00:53:22] [SPEAKER_01]: The paper straws just don't give me one. It that's just a waste of trees. You're cutting down

[00:53:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they just melt and they yeah, they're really bad

[00:53:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I have a stainless steel one you can take for any drink. I can't say I love it though

[00:53:34] [SPEAKER_01]: It takes I know it makes drinking it's weird on your teeth. It tastes like i'm drinking like a screwdriver out of a can

[00:53:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I showed my friend in the delta lounge and she was like gross, right? I go. I know somebody gave it to me

[00:53:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought I would try it that I'll always have a straw

[00:53:51] [SPEAKER_01]: No, because everybody's getting skimpy on them. I have to steal them out of the delta lounge

[00:53:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Delta lounge friends of mine don't don't don't get down on me for that. I leave good tips

[00:54:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, um, but anyway, you know the little black straws for like for a little playing card. Yeah tiny they're tiny

[00:54:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, those were star six

[00:54:11] [SPEAKER_01]: The starbucks workers aren't going to forget about it

[00:54:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone will forget about everything and that's how it works these days unless it's like a murder or something

[00:54:20] [SPEAKER_01]: but

[00:54:21] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, should we should we?

[00:54:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Not pay these prices anymore. Should we not go but then I thought he treated his workers good

[00:54:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know off the look into that

[00:54:31] [SPEAKER_01]: The prices have gone up fume

[00:54:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Customers fume at starbucks after surging

[00:54:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Costs make the brand luxury and save someone 150 somewhere else

[00:54:43] [SPEAKER_01]: The they have 17 000 locations. I would have actually said more

[00:54:48] [SPEAKER_01]: There's one there's one area in houston where the comedy club used to be there were three on one corner

[00:54:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Boom boom boom. Yeah, louis used to do a big joke about it. Yeah

[00:54:58] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[00:54:59] Um

[00:55:02] [SPEAKER_01]: 62 of customers say they were eating out less

[00:55:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Starbucks so they count that I don't count starbucks is eating out. I mean, it's like a luxury little treat

[00:55:13] [SPEAKER_01]: $6 a pop is not a deal on coffee

[00:55:17] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[00:55:18] [SPEAKER_01]: This guy quit doing it and he saves $150 a month

[00:55:21] [SPEAKER_01]: That's pretty good

[00:55:23] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a lot of cat food. Yep just saying

[00:55:26] [SPEAKER_01]: This is it's a lot. Um

[00:55:30] [SPEAKER_01]: This is a great story

[00:55:33] [SPEAKER_01]: This is this is from paddles

[00:55:35] [SPEAKER_01]: For me you sent this to me

[00:55:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Bald eagle rescued in missouri was not injured. It was just too fat to fly

[00:55:47] [SPEAKER_01]: He ate a raccoon

[00:55:49] [SPEAKER_01]: They have the x-ray and I could see the little raccoons hands because they have really long fingers

[00:55:54] [SPEAKER_01]: he ate the whole so

[00:55:57] [SPEAKER_01]: They found this guy

[00:56:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Wildlife officials in missouri said a bald eagle had been rehabilitated after it was having trouble flying

[00:56:05] [SPEAKER_01]: They captured the bird near wilson's creek national

[00:56:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Battlefield, which is the southwest corner of the state about 50 miles from branson

[00:56:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It was unable to fly and animal experts initially thought it was injured

[00:56:17] [SPEAKER_01]: So in an open field he sat there

[00:56:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And as his head turned to look at the camera a large dark dog carrier

[00:56:25] [SPEAKER_01]: With its doors opened and they caught him a bond further

[00:56:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Exhabilitation the bird was found to be healthy

[00:56:32] [SPEAKER_01]: But it currently engorged from its latest meal. In other words too fat to fly

[00:56:38] [SPEAKER_01]: The bald eagle's diet is opportunistic and varied. They love snakes

[00:56:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I've seen them in the Ozarks where they'll have a snake in their mind

[00:56:46] [SPEAKER_01]: You can tell because it's just dangling from both sides. Yeah, but that's good. I want them come kill all the snakes

[00:56:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, they so show the outline of a small paw paw in the bird's stomach when they did an x-ray

[00:56:58] [SPEAKER_01]: It's believed to be a raccoon

[00:57:00] [SPEAKER_01]: A checkup found the bird's stomach to be distended. He feasted on raccoon roadkill

[00:57:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Gross

[00:57:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh

[00:57:09] [SPEAKER_01]: After like two days of calm downtime and just let it digest it

[00:57:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It was released again and it was found in compliance with federal and state laws

[00:57:18] [SPEAKER_01]: you could see um

[00:57:20] [SPEAKER_01]: The raccoon thing in the x-ray if you want to see it this show

[00:57:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, go ahead clean up roadkill. That's great

[00:57:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah

[00:57:31] [SPEAKER_01]: All right, zuckerberg. Let's go to my friend mark zuckerberg. Oh, yeah

[00:57:36] [SPEAKER_01]: speaking of

[00:57:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, he's not as evil as elon

[00:57:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, elon. I just don't even know what's going on on twitter anymore. I'm shocked. He hasn't kicked me off

[00:57:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't tweeted anything. They'd be kickoff-able. Um, but I don't talk very nice about them

[00:57:50] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just there's so much mean shit on there

[00:57:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And then there's nice things like

[00:57:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I became friends with henry winkler a long time ago, which is weird because and I told him this

[00:58:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, dude. I'm sure everybody says shit like this, but

[00:58:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I had a poster it was red of you on a motorcycle in my bedroom. He used to you and shan casidy

[00:58:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I did not know at the time. He was like 40

[00:58:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Years old he was much older. It was much older than he seemed in the show

[00:58:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, but like if you go to henry's tweet twitter feed, it's just nice

[00:58:23] [SPEAKER_01]: He's everything's positive not like too positive where you're like, okay. What are you on lithium?

[00:58:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah, he's just so there's nice things still about twitter

[00:58:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, and i'm still shocked when he retweets something like I just said oh i'm gonna be in vegas when he retweeted it and I mean it

[00:58:38] [SPEAKER_01]: It goes

[00:58:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know he's probably got a bazillion followers, but I just feel like

[00:58:45] [SPEAKER_01]: There's so much

[00:58:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Mean stuff on there that you're just it's shocking and then I think why did he do this?

[00:58:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I think he wanted to wreck it because it elan wanted to wreck it because it was like sports and entertainment

[00:58:57] [SPEAKER_01]: It was like it wasn't liberal

[00:59:00] [SPEAKER_01]: But it was just

[00:59:02] [SPEAKER_01]: There wasn't any right wing super right wing crazy shit on there

[00:59:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Right, and then it became political

[00:59:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know maybe it was more liberal than I noticed or maybe I wouldn't follow the right accounts

[00:59:13] [SPEAKER_01]: But I feel like he bought it to wreck it and he has enough money

[00:59:17] [SPEAKER_01]: To do that and just say watch this i'm gonna break your toy

[00:59:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Because even if you want it to be a super right wing crazy site

[00:59:24] [SPEAKER_01]: The problem is trump tried that

[00:59:26] [SPEAKER_01]: True social it didn't work no and no other liberal no other entertainment one worse if you want to call entertainment liberal then

[00:59:34] [SPEAKER_01]: That what is blue sky?

[00:59:36] [SPEAKER_01]: What people have told me try this try that none of it catches on

[00:59:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess it's just I have to go

[00:59:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean i'll stay what are we doing termites? Do we stay on twitter?

[00:59:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm staying till I guess the ship sinks. I don't know well

[00:59:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Zuckerberg my second least favorite person

[00:59:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Has long vacation on the shores of lake tahoe now. He's building a colossal compound there. How many compounds can a person have

[01:00:05] Zuckerberg

[01:00:06] [SPEAKER_01]: The hawaii one and he built like a seven foot statue of his wife. It's ridiculous

[01:00:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll never forget for you children. There was a man named john carrey

[01:00:16] [SPEAKER_01]: He was running for president and he's married to teresa hines

[01:00:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Teresa carry hind's carry

[01:00:22] [SPEAKER_01]: As in hind's the ketchup

[01:00:25] [SPEAKER_01]: So I used to do a joke in my act where I was like if I was john carrey

[01:00:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And in any debate I was in no matter what what the question asked of me

[01:00:33] [SPEAKER_01]: When they they said it's your turn to answer now. I'd say hi

[01:00:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for the question. You always got to thank the people

[01:00:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I'm just here today to say if you don't vote for me. I'm taking away all the ketchup

[01:00:47] [SPEAKER_01]: You want to eat hunts for the rest of your life god loved canza city and lemar hunt, but it ain't the same

[01:00:53] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just not it's just not and everybody knows it

[01:00:56] [SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, he was in a presidential debate and they said mr. Carrey

[01:01:01] [SPEAKER_01]: How many homes do you have and he didn't know?

[01:01:04] Wow

[01:01:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Not a good look john wish that should have been a basic question in the preliminary debate fake debate. Um

[01:01:12] [SPEAKER_01]: How many houses do you own homes? Whatever you have to tell the truth, but the problem is it was like seven

[01:01:19] [SPEAKER_01]: But I would say, you know, I'm not really in charge of that the ketchup queen

[01:01:24] [SPEAKER_01]: She's into that can I get a lifeline and call my wife

[01:01:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Can I call Teresa and then see yeah, well mark's building another compound the billionaire who's spent enjoying

[01:01:34] [SPEAKER_01]: He loves northern california resort town with his

[01:01:37] [SPEAKER_01]: So tahoe can be on both sides, but um his wife priscilla and the children

[01:01:43] [SPEAKER_01]: He shared a video for the july I don't care about that

[01:01:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, the residents are very mad

[01:01:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, and he bought all this shit through secret names

[01:01:53] [SPEAKER_01]: it's a

[01:01:54] [SPEAKER_01]: He bought two properties for a combined 50 million

[01:01:57] [SPEAKER_01]: 59 million he owns multiple homes. Oh, he owns one in palo alto too

[01:02:02] [SPEAKER_01]: The deals were closed and hidden behind limited liability corporations and other entities. So this this is how they do it. Um

[01:02:10] [SPEAKER_01]: They just don't put your name on it

[01:02:12] [SPEAKER_01]: But eventually you can find all that out these days

[01:02:14] [SPEAKER_01]: If you're determined you need the lady from don't fuck with cats she'll find out exactly what you need to know

[01:02:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Um

[01:02:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm getting to where the people are made it. It was its giant estate. It had it's only had four owners in its 100 year history

[01:02:29] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[01:02:31] [SPEAKER_01]: He's made big plans, but see then he's he just he he cordoned

[01:02:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Everything off like nobody's allowed to walk where they used to walk or it's just

[01:02:41] [SPEAKER_01]: it's kind of

[01:02:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, um

[01:02:47] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got big plans

[01:02:49] [SPEAKER_01]: He's gonna place a sprawling compound of 10 acres a 20,000 square foot 35 tall

[01:02:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Main residents with timber and glass facade a bunkhouse a gym a gatehouse multiple guest houses

[01:03:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Why he doesn't have probably have any friends if there are people showing up

[01:03:07] [SPEAKER_01]: It's because they want something. I mean when I think good time tonight. I don't think mark

[01:03:12] [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, I would say oh my god. You did not invite him

[01:03:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Is he coming to trivia fuck

[01:03:20] [SPEAKER_01]: God god damn it. It's supposed to be ryan and his girlfriend. These are the people that were invited

[01:03:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It's trivia tuesday, come on. We don't need those people

[01:03:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, hold on. Whoa, we're gonna talk about um

[01:03:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Topgolf what do you guys think about topgolf?

[01:03:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, well, let's talk about this one first

[01:03:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Because I think it's interesting and then I've got another one and then a feel-good story. No, we'll get out of here

[01:03:56] [SPEAKER_01]: So there's this guy

[01:03:58] [SPEAKER_01]: And he claims

[01:04:00] [SPEAKER_01]: He's a winner. This is not topgolf yet. This is a mystery

[01:04:04] [SPEAKER_01]: To be or not to be as in shakespeare

[01:04:07] [SPEAKER_01]: In the case of this porstress that really is the question for a window cleaner believes his family could own the only picture of

[01:04:14] [SPEAKER_01]: William Shakespeare painted during his lifetime

[01:04:16] [SPEAKER_01]: If authenticated it could be worth 200 million dollars

[01:04:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Stephen wadlow

[01:04:23] [SPEAKER_01]: 58 said his father bought the painting from the great two

[01:04:27] [SPEAKER_01]: tew estate in oxford shaw

[01:04:30] [SPEAKER_01]: In the 1960s hung it largely unnoticed in the living room for decades

[01:04:35] [SPEAKER_01]: But in 2012 his father peter watched a documentary about the playwright in which he couldn't help remark

[01:04:41] [SPEAKER_01]: He looks like our bloke above the telly

[01:04:45] [SPEAKER_01]: our bloke

[01:04:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, after

[01:04:49] [SPEAKER_01]: After he said this to his son, mr. Wadlow began trying to validate the painting

[01:04:53] [SPEAKER_01]: with x-rays dating it to

[01:04:56] [SPEAKER_01]: 1595

[01:04:57] [SPEAKER_01]: When shakespeare would have been about 31 years old now every picture i've ever seen drawn of shakespeare

[01:05:03] [SPEAKER_01]: This is what he looked like and he's got the doily

[01:05:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Next thing yeah, we he kind of just looks like a floating head. Um

[01:05:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you should see the two estate it looks like down to nabby

[01:05:16] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[01:05:19] [SPEAKER_01]: No, my grandparents, you know what my grandparents did they brought me ashtrays from las vegas

[01:05:25] [SPEAKER_01]: That said it had the mgm lion in it and i thought it was awesome

[01:05:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And then my grandma would save me a baby airplane bottles and i set up a fake bar in my room

[01:05:33] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what my grandparents brought back

[01:05:35] [SPEAKER_01]: What would happen next well look yeah, that's your guys' fault. I spend every night of my life in a bar

[01:05:42] [SPEAKER_01]: And i had matches they gave me a lot of matches

[01:05:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I like my matchbook collection. Um

[01:05:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Experts says it's have determined it is from the right period

[01:05:53] [SPEAKER_01]: It is not a copy and should be only authenticated. It should it could be the only one

[01:05:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, but a lot of academics haven't taken him seriously

[01:06:01] [SPEAKER_01]: He said because i'm a working class tradesperson the people

[01:06:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Who have been studying this for years they don't want to find out from this from a nobody

[01:06:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I know he's a window washer. I know it's a job

[01:06:13] [SPEAKER_01]: The only two uh unambiguous portraits of shakespeare

[01:06:16] [SPEAKER_01]: They're only two both of which were painted after his death in six in 1616

[01:06:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Several other portraits from the 17th century

[01:06:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Allegedly show the playwright during his lifetime although all of them

[01:06:28] [SPEAKER_01]: The sitter is either unidentified or the resemblance has been subject to debate. Mr

[01:06:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Wadlow accepts he may never know the truth about the portrait which he keeps in storage

[01:06:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's get it out and talk about it. That's what he's saying now. Yeah, send it to whomever. Yeah, how do we know though?

[01:06:43] [SPEAKER_01]: How do we know if it's really shakespeare?

[01:06:47] [SPEAKER_00]: You gotta bring it to somebody you can trust

[01:06:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, right and we got to bring it to a museum. Ow my glasses. Sorry my glasses are going into my ears

[01:06:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Top golf. Have you ever been? Yes, I've been so expensive

[01:07:01] [SPEAKER_01]: My biggest complaint, but that's because I golf

[01:07:05] [SPEAKER_01]: The golf clubs and I know we're not there to be serious. I get it and we're just there to goof off

[01:07:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I get it

[01:07:11] [SPEAKER_01]: but I literally and my parents

[01:07:15] [SPEAKER_01]: More than me have shittier golf clubs laying around in the garage that I would give them and go come on man

[01:07:21] [SPEAKER_01]: What is that from the 60s Jesus Christ the jack nickel is two iron

[01:07:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean and they're just old and shitty

[01:07:28] [SPEAKER_01]: And you present this thing and then you expect people who do not know how to golf to hit like one of the hardest clubs ever to

[01:07:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Hit on earth

[01:07:36] [SPEAKER_01]: But these there's there's they're monstrously large

[01:07:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I think they're expensive the food's good

[01:07:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I like it and I like the game

[01:07:46] [SPEAKER_01]: but like all my nieces and nephews

[01:07:49] [SPEAKER_01]: And a couple siblings were coming down for my birthday. I think it was

[01:07:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Before covet and I was like well, let's go to top golf because then all the kids can come and we can

[01:08:00] [SPEAKER_01]: We can all drink and eat and we can have fun and they can have fun. It's like a perfect family deal

[01:08:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I called to rent a stall deal. Yeah, it was like $1,500. What? Yeah

[01:08:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean for two three hours. I don't know what I wanted and I don't remember what it included

[01:08:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I just know I was like that ain't happening

[01:08:19] [SPEAKER_01]: We could go bowling if you want to do something the kids could do we could go to the real golf course and just play

[01:08:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean

[01:08:25] [SPEAKER_01]: anyway

[01:08:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I did not know that callaway golf bought top golf

[01:08:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And they keep popping up every city I go to i'm like, oh wow, they have all top Huntsville Alabama has a top golf

[01:08:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, are there enough people here?

[01:08:39] [SPEAKER_01]: To keep this in business

[01:08:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Nashville has one now st. Louis has one now everywhere you go their top golf

[01:08:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Um the place you go to bond with your dad is in worse shape than rory mackleroy on a sunday afternoon

[01:08:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Top golf shares sank to a nine month low yesterday

[01:08:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh on the news that investment bank Raymond james, they're the ones that always tell you what to do with your stock

[01:09:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Slashed its rating to quote avoid. Wow. Yeah, they'll either have buy consider

[01:09:11] [SPEAKER_01]: but avoid

[01:09:12] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[01:09:13] [SPEAKER_01]: A few weeks after the company reported

[01:09:16] [SPEAKER_01]: That their earnings report that spooked investors backstory very short

[01:09:20] [SPEAKER_01]: A golf club callaway bought top golf in a deal that valued the chain of the chain at two billion

[01:09:26] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I would never have given them that no

[01:09:29] [SPEAKER_01]: That was in 2020 its stock has fallen 40 percent since the merger

[01:09:33] [SPEAKER_01]: It's I think they thought it would be for corporate outings

[01:09:36] [SPEAKER_01]: And that does happen like and usually they're kind of crowded

[01:09:41] [SPEAKER_01]: but

[01:09:42] [SPEAKER_01]: But you're not me it's not enough for all this land. I don't think it was that expensive to build

[01:09:48] [SPEAKER_01]: The land is expensive, but notice they're always in weird places. Yeah, so flood lots. Yeah. Well, why not take a floodplain? Who cares?

[01:09:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Raymond james analysts so-and-so advise its investors to sell shares in callaway

[01:10:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Um top golf struggles to bring in traffic

[01:10:07] [SPEAKER_01]: The recommendation came after the company said it was conducting a strategic strategic review

[01:10:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Including a potential spin-off of its driving range business

[01:10:15] [SPEAKER_01]: You a driving range doesn't make money

[01:10:20] [SPEAKER_01]: The spin-off might be a little too late even possible

[01:10:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Top golf has an estimated 2.4 billion dollar debt load

[01:10:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't and then I was but listen so there was a different there's other this is just fascinating to me because

[01:10:34] [SPEAKER_01]: As soon as I said no to my birthday

[01:10:36] [SPEAKER_01]: And I have the money if I wanted to spend it. It's just not right like it's ridiculous, especially

[01:10:43] [SPEAKER_01]: No, it's just no no the answer is no we can find something else to do that's just as fun

[01:10:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, that just sounded fun really I pictured myself drinking

[01:10:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And put me and then I'll take the computer and do the kids games

[01:10:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And then I'll make them gamble and turn on one another. That's what I saw happening. Yeah

[01:11:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Listen to this though. They've been opening

[01:11:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Um

[01:11:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Calloway Calloway merged with them in 2021 that was I didn't even know that happened

[01:11:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't I didn't understand why all of a sudden it said Calloway top golf

[01:11:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, why don't you get some Calloway good golf clubs in there and try to sell your golf equipment? Yeah

[01:11:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Look at me knowing how to do what what I'm doing in this place bar golf bar. Yeah. Yeah

[01:11:25] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[01:11:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Calloway rebranded itself as top golf Calloway and built as many as 13 new venues annually

[01:11:32] [SPEAKER_01]: You guys there's not enough cities for that you need a shitload of people look at all those bays

[01:11:37] [SPEAKER_01]: There and then inside there's a full blown bar because I go to the one in phoenix by talking stick

[01:11:42] [SPEAKER_01]: There's one right across the deal great place to have lunch and watch

[01:11:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Um sports are on everywhere that part's fine. I bet that part makes money

[01:11:52] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the golf bays that you're charging to rent with some ridiculous amount

[01:11:56] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[01:11:57] [SPEAKER_01]: They're so same venue sales growth. They have no growth

[01:12:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, anyway, I don't know. Do you guys have one by your house termites? Do you ever go or do non golfers go?

[01:12:08] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I wanted to because here's the thing if you're a golfer

[01:12:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just gonna go golf right or I'm gonna go do a par three with the kids or I'm not

[01:12:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Tap golf to me is really just a bar with something else to do but it could be a bowling alley. It could be

[01:12:26] [SPEAKER_01]: A million things I don't need I just wonder if non golfers are attracted

[01:12:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Text messages saying come back. Yeah

[01:12:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah

[01:12:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I have a good feel good story

[01:12:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah

[01:12:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's only feel good for some people

[01:12:53] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm gonna do this one because this is a great story and he's one of my he should be my king

[01:12:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Charles Barkley

[01:13:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I think I might okay

[01:13:02] [SPEAKER_01]: He left a hundred million dollars on the table so that tnt employees could keep their jobs for one more year

[01:13:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel really good the basketball veteran said of declining to leave tnt admits changes to warner brothers discovery

[01:13:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Access to nba media rights

[01:13:21] [SPEAKER_01]: So this coming year tnt will still have nba stuff, but the following year they will not

[01:13:28] [SPEAKER_01]: so charles

[01:13:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Proved again. He's a team player on wednesday august 14th the nba legend revealed on the dan

[01:13:35] [SPEAKER_01]: So-and-so show podcast that he left a minimum of a hundred million on the table to stay with turner sports

[01:13:40] [SPEAKER_01]: His decision to remain with warner brothers discovery sports division came after tnt was left out of the nba

[01:13:47] [SPEAKER_01]: 11-year media rights deal

[01:13:49] [SPEAKER_01]: The number one thing is to keep my people from turner to keep to keep their jobs for at least one more year

[01:13:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Barkley 61 said that's all I was concerned with due to the new agreement his exit was actually

[01:14:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Contractually sound so he could have left. I'm sure he got offers from yeah everywhere

[01:14:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Everybody wants to Charles. Yeah, he's fun and he's smart and funny and

[01:14:10] [SPEAKER_01]: He's great

[01:14:12] [SPEAKER_01]: He said he um, it was a great feeling to get recourse

[01:14:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Get offers from outside of networks

[01:14:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, but he wanted to thank and thank them all for reaching out. It was humbling and cool

[01:14:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Even though they were throwing crazy numbers, uh like damn, but as long as I got my people safe at tnt man, so

[01:14:29] [SPEAKER_01]: That is so awesome

[01:14:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Barkley signed a 10-year deal in 2022. So he could leave tnt now

[01:14:36] [SPEAKER_01]: No problem. He blah blah blah

[01:14:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Tnt lost the sport and me nba's media rights after the league declined

[01:14:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Warner brother discovery 1.8 billion year offer

[01:14:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Which matched amazon's offer per cnn as a result the nba's

[01:14:52] [SPEAKER_01]: 2024 2025 will be the last with tnt

[01:14:55] [SPEAKER_01]: So wherever you want to watch basketball, you're gonna have to go find it wherever they put it

[01:15:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Would it be youtube tv?

[01:15:04] [SPEAKER_00]: They'll have it on whatever it ends up on

[01:15:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I only watch it when he gets the playoffs. I want him and snoop to commentate something. Yeah, that'd be great. Um

[01:15:13] [SPEAKER_00]: golf

[01:15:13] [SPEAKER_01]: He loves everybody at tnt. So some some people some rich people

[01:15:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Sir charles is very rich are still doing the right thing. That's very nice. All right

[01:15:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Moving on to thank yous got a lot of stuff backstage and we'll do our quotes

[01:15:30] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[01:15:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Hampton oh the wizard hat

[01:15:34] [SPEAKER_01]: It was a crocheted wizard hat. It's purple. It that's from Cindy. That was awesome

[01:15:52] [SPEAKER_01]: that was

[01:15:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Carrie and her cat hugo, which she sent me a picture in this letter. I'm like

[01:15:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Did she superimpose baby cat into a photo people do do things like this

[01:16:02] [SPEAKER_01]: And

[01:16:04] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not it's her cat named hugo the terrible. I mean it looks exactly

[01:16:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna put it in the show so you guys can see it. It's crazy. I really thought somehow

[01:16:14] [SPEAKER_01]: But then I was like, why would I have ever taken a picture?

[01:16:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember taking one of baby cat like on her side look like this pose

[01:16:22] [SPEAKER_01]: And then like she put it right by that plant

[01:16:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, baby cat's got a twin and I gave baby cat um a bracelet

[01:16:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she loves it. It's just a giant rubber band. Yeah, and I won't give her rubber bands. They'll eat them

[01:16:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, lots of greenies and the catnip balls, which I finally understand that came from karen and pee by it

[01:16:42] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[01:16:44] [SPEAKER_01]: The jackalope necklace is like it's a silver necklace. It's very very cool

[01:16:48] [SPEAKER_01]: That from kathleen whose dad was also named jack and she put a little jackalope on it. It's super cool

[01:16:53] [SPEAKER_01]: um this guy

[01:16:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I do love it. This is a screaming possum

[01:16:58] [SPEAKER_01]: And uh, this is from terry uh and shalom. I hope i'm saying that right ready

[01:17:14] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the noise they make that freaks me out. They're always on the porch. I like a possum

[01:17:42] [SPEAKER_01]: The the venue people are always impressed. They're like nobody ever gets this much stuff

[01:17:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, it's the podcast people. I never got one present for doing stand-up comedy

[01:17:50] [SPEAKER_01]: No, or should I have I was um actually just doing my job and getting paid

[01:17:54] [SPEAKER_01]: So I didn't need presents

[01:17:55] [SPEAKER_01]: But this stuff is great and it's funny how the cats know they go right for the correct suitcase

[01:18:01] [SPEAKER_01]: They know it's not my carry-on. No, no, it's the one I check. Um

[01:18:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Meow meow like open it and then they want to put away because they don't want to think i'm leaving again

[01:18:14] [SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's get a quarter

[01:18:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I forgot to say what we're watching and i'm just going to cover that before I go

[01:18:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I was so disappointed. I have waited forever for the steve mcnair

[01:18:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Untold it's on netflix, but it's like I think it's an espn series

[01:18:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Initially

[01:18:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Untold they're just sports stories even if you don't care about sports. This is about his murder

[01:18:37] [SPEAKER_01]: He was a tennessee titan quarterback

[01:18:39] [SPEAKER_01]: And he got murdered and I thought oh they built it up

[01:18:44] [SPEAKER_01]: All summer when nothing really great spent on and i'm like that'll be great

[01:18:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought I would learn something

[01:18:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Really all I learned is that jeff fisher

[01:18:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Who's a coach is weird. Yeah, he's just weird

[01:18:57] [SPEAKER_01]: He's kind of affected and weird not

[01:19:00] [SPEAKER_01]: hateable not dislikeable just strange

[01:19:03] [SPEAKER_01]: um other than that

[01:19:05] [SPEAKER_01]: They were like yeah, his girlfriend shot him and then she shot him shot shot herself

[01:19:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Right

[01:19:11] [SPEAKER_01]: That was that that's what the news said. I mean there wasn't

[01:19:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't there wasn't one new thing. I know more about steve mcnair's

[01:19:21] [SPEAKER_01]: World and friends from people at my golf bar because they knew him and they knew his friends and they knew

[01:19:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Somebody I know knows the guy who found him like oh well

[01:19:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like they didn't

[01:19:33] [SPEAKER_01]: It was just I never am disappointed by those and I was like that was the stupidest hour. I just watched

[01:19:39] [SPEAKER_01]: It was only one hour. But I mean and maybe if you never ever heard of it

[01:19:43] [SPEAKER_01]: It'd be interesting

[01:19:44] [SPEAKER_01]: But if you heard of it and saw on the news how they presented it, I thought oh maybe that girl

[01:19:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Didn't do it the 20 year old

[01:19:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And I finished clickbait and I will say

[01:19:57] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a few times where you're like this is jumping the shark

[01:19:59] [SPEAKER_01]: This is jumping the shark, but now I gotta finish it. I liked it

[01:20:03] [SPEAKER_01]: And I think it could really happen the ending's crazy, but I can see it happening

[01:20:09] [SPEAKER_01]: This is why I'm just not a fan when my friends say they're gonna online date

[01:20:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I know it works out for some people, but you have no way to vouch for that person

[01:20:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't I don't like it

[01:20:19] [SPEAKER_01]: No, just go to barn. He's on a sunday. He'll meet somebody

[01:20:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh

[01:20:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Dolly

[01:20:27] [SPEAKER_01]: This is reacting to her relatability in an interview with billboard

[01:20:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure there's lots of people out there who'd like to smack my head off

[01:20:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Whoa

[01:20:36] [SPEAKER_01]: But we won't we won't talk about them

[01:20:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I've lived a lot and I've done a lot people relate to me because I grew up in a poor fan

[01:20:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Poor and in a big family. They know I understand all the hardships

[01:20:50] [SPEAKER_01]: You think dolly was poor?

[01:20:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I was watching uh

[01:20:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Well a golf thing of chi chi rodriguez who I loved

[01:20:58] [SPEAKER_01]: He was so poor as a child. He got rickets

[01:21:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Rickets is a disease you get from starvation for the children

[01:21:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't mean I know what rickets is it's kind of outdated. That's why you don't hear about it anymore because we don't really

[01:21:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Right um, that's poor and then I started watching willy nelson documentary on something my friend dwarf told me watch it

[01:21:17] [SPEAKER_01]: It's very good. He was extremely poor

[01:21:19] [SPEAKER_01]: But not as poor as chi chi no

[01:21:22] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[01:21:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, here's tei tei

[01:21:26] [SPEAKER_01]: This is the hollywood reporter 2012

[01:21:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I think the worst part about a breakup sometimes

[01:21:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Is if one could choose the worst part would probably would possibly be if you get out of a relationship

[01:21:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And you don't recognize yourself because you changed a lot about yourself to make that person like you

[01:21:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Do who'd she do that for?

[01:21:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Did she do it for ryan gosselin?

[01:21:53] [SPEAKER_01]: She did ryan reynolds

[01:21:55] [SPEAKER_01]: ryan ryan her boyfriend blake

[01:21:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, her boyfriend blake who plays for the phoenix sun

[01:22:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Should be retired in my mind if like he should retire by now. He's got to be in this late 30s

[01:22:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Basketball tearing knees up what that what is that guy thinking does he not have anything fun to do? I made up a whole story

[01:22:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Not even on purpose. All right termites

[01:22:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Come see me on the road. We'll see you down the road. Happy labor day. Enjoy the last
