[00:00:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Hey everybody, it's me Kathleen Madigan. Welcome to Madigan's Pubcast. You grab yourself a drink,

[00:00:14] [SPEAKER_02]: pull up a bar stool, let's talk about what's been going on.

[00:00:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Hermites! Welcome. Welcome all termites, welcome all people. Welcome. It is me, Stevie. Now there's

[00:00:31] [SPEAKER_00]: a million videos of her on TikTok. It's Stevie yapping. Oh, she can talk. She's getting on. Yeah.

[00:00:38] [SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, 1967. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh. But you better not edit her because Lindsey tried to do that. She got really pissed out.

[00:00:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Let her talk. She still sings all of her songs. I don't care if you talk too much as long as that's not taking the place of songs.

[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Right. And she sings everything you've ever heard so you can't complain about a Stevie concert. No.

[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, termites! So many things. So many things. Seriously, some weeks it's like, well there's some stuff to talk about but other

[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_01]: weeks it's just mind boggling. First, what am I drinking? Well how appropriate for a child's cat lady, I'm drinking a beer called

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Herding Cat. Yes. And baby cat herds. She herds. She doesn't like it if there's company over and everybody's not in the same room.

[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_01]: She herds them. She herds them. My sister's Australian shepherd. No one's allowed in the kitchen if everyone's in the family room.

[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Really? No. He will come in there and bark at you and bark at you. And then I said to my sister, what does he want?

[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Like a treat or something? She's like, no, he doesn't like that you're in the kitchen. Stop. He's a bully. We've all decided that Buster's

[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_01]: the Australian Shepherd is a bully. And so much of a bully that they didn't research Australian

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_01]: shepherds enough before they got one. Yeah, he's like 10 now but he got attacked by a dog so now he gets a little aggressive

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_01]: and he bullies you because they need a lot of attention. And it's like having a four-year-old. He's too smart.

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, you should have got a dumb dog. Beagles don't do this shit. Labs don't do this shit. Like he will stand there and stare at

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_01]: you and his eyebrows move like, oh, it's crazy. If you're on the couch, he literally will try to sit in my mom's lap.

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_01]: But my sister dropped him off at this farm in Missouri while they all went on vacation for like 10 days and she came back

[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_01]: and the lady's got an awesome place and she's got separate like there's a goat's over here, little dogs here, big dogs here.

[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_01]: One time I went to go get him and Buster was in with the goats. I'm like, uh-oh, what did he do? This time my sister went to

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_01]: got him and he was in the house on the couch watching TV with the lady. Kate said he bullied his way into the house,

[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_01]: onto the couch to watch television, to keep track of that lady. Yeah, so I don't know why I got off of that but anyway.

[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_01]: This Herding Cat's Hazy Pale Ale. I love a Hazy Pale Ale. It's the average 2020 Farm Brewery. I believe it's from Ontario.

[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Canada! Oh no, it's Quailsbury. Oh, there's one in Ontario. Yeah, and one in California. Delicious. Well done guys.

[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Love a Hazy Pale Ale. Summertime is wonderful for a Hazy Pale Ale. I'm just going to show you this before we move on.

[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Usually I save these things to the end and I got to see who gave it to me. Hold on. This is Pamela from Buffalo.

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_01]: This is the Crazy Cat Lady action figure. It's a lady and she, there's six cats. It comes with six cats and says it.

[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Small parts not for children under three years. And then she has a cat on her shoulder. There's a black and white, a gray, a

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_01]: brown one and a black one. Here's the questions. Are you a crazy cat person? I know I'm not. Do you get excited?

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, wait, do you excited when you get here to hear a can opener? No, I don't because I don't open cans of food.

[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Do they eat dry food? Do you think cats are smarter than people? Yes. Do you spend more time on doctor bills for your cats

[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_01]: than yourself? No, they don't go. They're fine unless they're hurt. Well, they have all their shit.

[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_01]: They're spayed, they're neutered, they have all their vaccinations. Feline AIDS. Did you buy ice cream?

[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Do your cats prefer instead of kind you like? No. Ice cream. I don't know. Do they eat ice cream?

[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_01]: These guys won't need anything with dry food and greenies and temptations. They don't like real food.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I've tried to offer them salmon, chicken. They don't want any salmon. They don't want anything.

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Now I don't know. The cats I had growing up, I mean the one cat, we had a cat, a tuxedo cat named Gandhi.

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_01]: He ate everything. He loved prime rib. I mean he loved everything. Did he eat ice cream?

[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean anything. He would literally eat anything. Do you have a website devoted to your cats? No.

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you have more than one piece of clothing with a cat on it? No. Do you spend more? No. That's a no.

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_01]: No. Do you spend more on Christmas presents for your cats and your family? No. Do you buy more

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_01]: than one kind of cat food because your cats are picky? Well, no, it doesn't apply.

[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you feel that the ancient Egyptian tradition of cat worship is the one to religion? Yes.

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_01]: So I only answered yes to two. It said if you answered four or more, you're crazy.

[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_01]: So a crazy cat lady but I do love these little, I don't know where I'm going to put this. I love it.

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's go to the new podcast studio. Yeah, the new podcast studio which is coming along

[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_01]: but I got to get on. I got to get a hold of my little friend, Avi, and ask what the hell.

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Also, this was left backstage and we're going to be talking about Airbnb too.

[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Somebody left it backstage in Canada and gave me two of them. I gave one to the guys

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_01]: because the one guy was really, it's called the prepared hero. It's the privacy pen.

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_01]: This was fascinating and we tested it. So it's to tell you if you go in an Airbnb, if there's cameras.

[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_01]: What? Yeah, it just, it looks like a little, it looks like a vape pen actually.

[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_01]: And when you, we set it all up and there's a ton of security cameras backstage

[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_01]: and he knows where they're at. So he said, let's see if it works and sure enough,

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_01]: beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, yep, yep.

[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not, I got to see, let's see where, oh, this is Mississauga termite,

[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_01]: termite tracy and she also brought other stuff too some beer socks and a possum T-shirt and so.

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_01]: But this is, if you're worried about it, it worked, prepared hero,

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_01]: hero privacy pen. It worked. Yeah.

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_01]: So very cool and I'm more mad about Airbnb for other things, but the camera thing is a problem.

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_01]: And then people say, oh, well, you know, I don't hear about that in the news because they settle.

[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_01]: They settle with people. I'm surprised people starting, having started setting up their own cameras

[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_01]: just to get a payoff. Not that I'm encouraging that kind of behavior.

[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying. Okay, so that's what we're drinking. Let me cross that off.

[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_01]: What were we eating? Hippie chips, hippie chippies.

[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, first let me go with the hickory sticks because these are already open because I love them.

[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_01]: This is from Melissa. She brought these backstage. These are hickory sticks.

[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Hostess makes them, but they're better than the pickup sticks out of the can because they actually taste like hickory.

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_01]: They're delicious. I know. I don't think there's flavored ones down here though.

[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I think she got these in Canada. Yeah, it's Ontario.

[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, damn it's a Frito company.

[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_01]: It's from Melissa who works in the casino.

[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Come on, Frito is down here somewhere in it. Oh, it's Frito Lake Canada. Maybe it's just for them.

[00:07:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm just going to have to get J.N. Arden to mail me a bunch by e-mail their,

[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Janky, please go to the store and get me Julianne's a la hickory.

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Hickory sticks from Hostess. The snack size format size collection will work well for airplanes.

[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Thanks. Send them down here. These are delicious. A plus on that. A plus.

[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to try, which one's the hippie chippies? This one.

[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. Hippie chippies. Psychedelic, sweet and savory tortilla chips.

[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow, the bag is fabulous. Where have these made?

[00:07:55] What kind of a sheet?

[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, sorry. They're from Michigan Termites.

[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Jim, Karen and Bill. I'm trying to see where they're made.

[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't read it. Grand Rapids.

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Look at Grand Rapids. You know what Grand Rapids has?

[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Besides being one of the homes of Amway.

[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Hello. Grand Rapids has a shit ton of great breweries.

[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, you should have done this beforehand.

[00:08:23] You can do it.

[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I don't like them.

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_01]: No?

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no. Sweet and savory. No, no, no, no.

[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Moving on to salt vinegar. Thank you for bringing them up.

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I like to taste this stuff. Then I don't have to go make a mistake and spend my own money.

[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a regular one.

[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't even pronounce this. Chiavettas.

[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Chiavettas?

[00:08:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Chiavettas.

[00:08:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Salt and Barbecue. You never hear of that.

[00:08:48] Nice.

[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's see who brought these.

[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Easter Roar, New York Termites, Christina and Daughter Lisa.

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_01]: These are from Brandt, New York and Lockport, New York.

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I've never heard of either one of those places.

[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_00]: That's the most original barbecue.

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Just go with me for one second while I open it.

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I know it's really annoying if you listen to a podcast.

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I started listening to a good podcast.

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Nice?

[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Very good. It's everything you like the best.

[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Salt and Vinegar, Barbecue.

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_01]: The salt and vinegar kind of overruns the barbecue.

[00:09:21] In a good way?

[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_01]: For me, but I like salt and vinegar better than anything.

[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Well done, Termites.

[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Well done.

[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Where are we going on the road?

[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll get this show on the road.

[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_01]: The road show though, August 24th, Hampton Beach, New Hampshire.

[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Super fun.

[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_01]: That's a great gig.

[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_01]: That's a wonderful gig.

[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_01]: And the person who runs it also runs the Wilbur in Baston.

[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Her name is Taylor and she's a wonderful human being.

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes it's just nice to go into a gig

[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_01]: where you know the person in charge has their shit together.

[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Because sometimes they don't.

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Then August 30th, the 30th birthday.

[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Labor Day.

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_01]: The Venetian, Las Vegas.

[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Very excited to have some friends coming out.

[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_01]: It's all going to be a good time.

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_01]: September 6th, Terry Town, New York.

[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_01]: September 7th, Wilmys and Delaware.

[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_01]: September 13th, Columbus, Ohio.

[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Just talked to my friends to Oregon Elliot on the radio this morning.

[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_01]: September 14th, Lexington, Kentucky.

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_01]: September 19th, can't wait to see Oklahoma City.

[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Oklahoma where the big thing is going to be.

[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_01]: September 21st, Dallas, Texas.

[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a couple seats left up in the third balcony.

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_01]: But let me tell you what, those seats don't suck.

[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not just saying that.

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I would tell you guys don't buy them if they suck up there.

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_01]: But for comedy?

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_01]: It's fine.

[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_01]: September 27th, Foxwood's Casino.

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_01]: September 28th, New York.

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_01]: New York City Town Hall.

[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I was looking forward to that.

[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_01]: October 11th, Troy, New York.

[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_01]: By the way, Luce sent me some big thing about where I'm supposed to get a piece of fried chicken.

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_01]: These are kind of emails I get from Lewis Black.

[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I won't be in town when you're here, but I really think you should know this.

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh!

[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a $5 piece of fried chicken and he says it's absolutely worth it.

[00:11:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And he knows I would like it.

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_01]: So I will go do it.

[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_01]: But I'm like, sometimes I look at him like,

[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_01]: did you have nothing else to do today, Lou?

[00:11:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Like what...

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_01]: One of the things that are very important to him,

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_01]: when he stumbles upon something like that in New York,

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_01]: he's happy for days.

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_01]: You can't believe what I found.

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I found this roast beef sandwich down on 9th and blah, blah, blah.

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, I...

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, $8 you can't.

[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Food makes him so, so happy.

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_01]: October 11th, Troy, New York.

[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_01]: And I can't go wait to go see where The Gilded Age is being filmed.

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_01]: How exciting...

[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I love that show.

[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_01]: And I've seen every single one of them.

[00:11:35] [SPEAKER_01]: October 12th, Burlington, Vermont.

[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_01]: October 19th, Salt Lake City.

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_01]: You da, you da.

[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_01]: It's always hard to find something to put with that.

[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_01]: And clearly I was not successful.

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just by itself.

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, as well as people, you don't come here enough.

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes routing is hard.

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't have...

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I help with it.

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_01]: You gotta find shit that goes together.

[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_01]: You tell you guys are just out there on your own.

[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, doing your thing,

[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_01]: whatever it is you're doing.

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_01]: October 25th, Spartanburg, South Carolina.

[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_01]: October 26th, Wilmington, North Carolina.

[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_01]: November 1st and 2nd.

[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Heading up north, north, north.

[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Edmonton, Alberta.

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Calgary, Alberta.

[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And Nadia.

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_01]: So much, Canada.

[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_01]: It's gonna be great. Very exciting.

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_01]: No. And this weekend was Niagara Falls.

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And it was...

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I just love it. Everyone should go once in their life.

[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I go...

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I've been a lot just because I've always had gigs up there.

[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I get on the boat every time.

[00:12:33] [SPEAKER_01]: I get my ticket in advance.

[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I get as excited as a kid.

[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Because I can't believe the boats will take you that close.

[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And now there's this behind-the-falls thing.

[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And you can see...

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_01]: You can go right next to the outside on this little thing.

[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_01]: You're gonna get soaked no matter what you do.

[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Be prepared. These people aren't kidding.

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I also loved I got on the Hornblower.

[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the one on the Canadians.

[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Nobody mentioned life jackets or safety.

[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care. I can swim.

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_01]: And I figure if this thing goes over,

[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I already have my spots picked out

[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_01]: depending on how rough the current is.

[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I can swim.

[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_01]: But there were a lot of people on that boat

[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_01]: that did not look like they knew how to swim.

[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_01]: And I thought in America, there would be this big old speech.

[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And I hate that shit.

[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, all insurance...

[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_01]: All this crap. No. Give us your 35 bucks.

[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Get on. You're dumb enough to get on this boat.

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_01]: If shit goes down, you're on your own.

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know if there were...

[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure there are life jackets, but nobody said anything about it.

[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_01]: There was only one that tipped

[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_01]: capsized and it was back when it was first built.

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And then, of course, I can't stop googling

[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_01]: how many people have gone over the falls.

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_01]: We did this story on here

[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_01]: about the seven-year-old that went over.

[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_01]: He jumped... He had to get out of a fishing boat

[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_01]: because it was about to go over.

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_01]: But he lived. He's a lawyer now.

[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_01]: And that was a big story we did on here.

[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_01]: There was also a lady in the 1800s.

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_01]: 63 years old.

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_01]: She decided she was going to do this

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_01]: to really make a living because you could go on tour back then.

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Like Annie Oakley.

[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_01]: These people were on tour.

[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Like they were the headliners, right?

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_01]: First she got Geronimo.

[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I cannot believe he was headlining

[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, and I saw a poster. It said,

[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_01]: 1914 you can come see Sitting...

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_01]: And I said to my grandpa, you were 10.

[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_01]: You could have seen Geronimo.

[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Like how old are you, grandpa?

[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Right. Just sitting there telling stories.

[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_01]: That was the big show, Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.

[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_01]: If it came to town, there's Geronimo.

[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_01]: But anyway,

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_01]: one lady

[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_01]: in the 1800s at

[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_01]: age 63 decided she was going to go over

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_01]: on a barrel. First,

[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I think she wanted

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_01]: to be the lady that went over on the barrel

[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_01]: and then she went on tour. Well first she sent

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_01]: her cat over. Now it's not very nice.

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_01]: How much do you hate your cat?

[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, miraculously the cat was totally fine.

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_01]: So then she decided the barrel was fine

[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_01]: and she sent herself over and she was fine.

[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Nothing. No

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_01]: no problem. Now this did not happen

[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_01]: to a lot of others that have tried. A lot of deaths.

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not easy. And then she went on tour

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_01]: for like two years.

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_01]: As the lady who went... Back then

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_01]: we just brought people that did crazy things

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_01]: or freak shows or

[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_01]: you know, you're going on the road lady.

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Get your barrel. Get your barrel.

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Get your cat. Bring your cat.

[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_01]: We're going in this wagon and you're going on...

[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even think they had the railroad by then.

[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy.

[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_01]: And the Gagas Falls view casino,

[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_01]: they redid their whole showroom. It's so great.

[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Rod Stewart was supposed to be coming.

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, maybe he's still here.

[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_01]: But he's sick. He's been canceling shows.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_01]: But I don't know. Yeah, but anyway, the crowd was great.

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Michael Palasek, if you google him, very funny.

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_01]: He was the opening act.

[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_01]: He's great.

[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_01]: What was that with the Nerf guns?

[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_01]: There were all these Nerf guns backstage.

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why. They were fun though.

[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_01]: The whole backstage was fun. They had a porloroid.

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_01]: They make you take little selfies and then they put them all over the wall.

[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And the casino is great.

[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_01]: There's video games like from

[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_01]: the 80s back there. So I got very excited.

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they had...

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_01]: What's the golf one?

[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I used to play with my brother.

[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Golden Tea. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just a wonderful gig

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_01]: and the people are so nice. It was crowded though.

[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I would recommend if you can

[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_01]: go like in September after

[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_01]: all the kids are back to school.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Because it was kind of an overwhelming nut house.

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_01]: But the lines run smoothly

[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_01]: way better than most places.

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Cool.

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_01]: And you can't... There's no complaining there.

[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_01]: But what a wonderful gig

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_01]: and everything.

[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Flew right into Buffalo. Come pick you up.

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just great. Went right over the border

[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_01]: and easy peasy.

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, a lot of Buffalo Terraites came to the show.

[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_01]: A lot of Buffalo...

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And I applaud that because you got to put up with the border

[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_01]: and honestly on the way over there

[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_01]: that line was pretty long.

[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_01]: On the way back it wasn't long at all.

[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_01]: But it can be... It just depends.

[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_01]: It can be a shit show.

[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_01]: It can be easy as pie.

[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Did you go to the keg?

[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I did go to the keg. It's my favorite restaurant

[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_01]: because they have this appetizer.

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_01]: It's baked shrimp with cheese all over the top

[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_01]: and then there's five little holes for your tiny shrimps

[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_01]: and then they're hidden in cheese and garlic.

[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the greatest thing ever.

[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just wonderful.

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_01]: And the view looks out over Niagara Falls.

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wow.

[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_01]: It's more of a date spot

[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_01]: so it's weird if I go with Michael.

[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'm like...

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_01]: So where are you working next week?

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:17:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's not very romantic.

[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Here's some freaky things about Niagara Falls

[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_01]: and then we'll move on.

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the oldest state park

[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_01]: so there's the American side.

[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_01]: If you go to Buffalo you just go to the American side

[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_01]: and not have to deal. The Canadian side though

[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_01]: you get the better view.

[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_01]: There's just hands down no question about it

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_01]: because you can see all of Horseshoe Falls

[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_01]: and those are the biggest ones.

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_01]: It was in establishes...

[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the oldest park in America, 1885.

[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Over 8 million visitors explore...

[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.

[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And then there was a lady on the boat

[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_01]: behind me that asked

[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_01]: what time the falls closed.

[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_00]: What? What?

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Like just watch?

[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_01]: What time did they turn off was her exact wording.

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, God.

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And I wanted to turn around and it goes

[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_01]: it depends on when Bob needs to be back home.

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Bob's got the night shift.

[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_01]: He usually turns them off around 11.

[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_01]: 11?

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Turn off the falls.

[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_01]: This is when you're just like Jesus Christ people.

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_01]: What level of

[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_01]: dumb have we reached?

[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we should...

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe climate change should kill us all. Holy shit.

[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_01]: You think this is man made?

[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Holy...

[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's totally Disney.

[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It has three waterfalls.

[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_01]: The Horseshoe Falls known as the Canadian ones.

[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_01]: American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls.

[00:18:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh...

[00:18:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Fish fly over it and they survive because

[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_01]: they just go with the water.

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Four out of the great five lakes,

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Superior, Michigan, Huron and Erie

[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_01]: drain into the Niagara River

[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_01]: before emptying into Lake Ontario.

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Now were you ever told

[00:18:48] [SPEAKER_01]: how to remember the five lakes

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_01]: by the acronym that they spell out accidentally?

[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think so.

[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_01]: House.

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Nope.

[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Really? Never heard that.

[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_01]: That's how you cheat in grade school.

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Not cheat, but that's how I'm like oh okay

[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I can remember that. So then you got eight

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Huron, Ontario.

[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, Huron is you.

[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry. Yeah.

[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh so you used it twice.

[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_01]: And then Superior

[00:19:16] [SPEAKER_01]: and Erie and it spells house.

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_01]: So there you go. You can tell your kids that

[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_01]: now you know that forever. See, doing the work of the Lord

[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_01]: and we're learning things here.

[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_01]: We're learning about Niagara Falls.

[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_01]: They don't shut off. Everyone should go.

[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_01]: If you're ever up Buffalo, just put

[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Mark out a few hours to go do it.

[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_01]: The oldest surviving

[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_01]: United States flag is permanently displayed

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_01]: at Fort Old Fort Niagara.

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_01]: It was captured by the British during

[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_01]: the War of 1812.

[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_01]: It can be traced back to the end

[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_01]: of the last glacial period more

[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_01]: than 12,000 years ago.

[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_01]: It does not freeze in the winter. However

[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_01]: on March 29th

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_01]: 1848 the flow of the water

[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_01]: was reduced so this lady

[00:19:54] [SPEAKER_01]: be sad to hear

[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_01]: it has never turned off.

[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Ma'am, that's your answer.

[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_01]: It was reduced to a mere trickle

[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_01]: for a few hours due to an ice jam

[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_01]: upstream in the Niagara River.

[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_01]: So there you go.

[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Telling you, termites if you get a chance

[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_01]: if you're up Buffalo for any reason or upstate New York

[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_01]: take a day. Go out of your way.

[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Or Toronto.

[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Or Toronto. It's an hour and a half from Toronto.

[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. Okay.

[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_01]: This made me laugh

[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_01]: as we're moving on to the

[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_01]: pub guests before I do Queen News.

[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_01]: These are some emails

[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_01]: so we were talking about

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Elks and Moose lodges.

[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I got a lot of holler outs

[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_01]: from the Elk people. So far I got no Moose.

[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what in the

[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_01]: team email but this one is great.

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_01]: This person was listed.

[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I am a female and an Elk.

[00:20:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I have been a member for 21 years and was president.

[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_01]: They actually called

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_01]: me out of the president. Exalted ruler.

[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Fantastic. I love it.

[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_01]: For two years in my local lodge, my mom

[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_01]: and brother or Elks and my grandpa

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_01]: he was a past state president so I grew up

[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_01]: in the Elks. We are a benevolent social group

[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_01]: whose main goal is to help our communities

[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_01]: but mainly veterans and our youth.

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I did figure they did community stuff.

[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_01]: We're second in the US government

[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_01]: in the amount of money we give out in scholarships each year.

[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_01]: We were responsible for starting the first

[00:21:11] [SPEAKER_01]: VA hospitals and the GI bill was based on

[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_01]: what Elks were doing for our veterans.

[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_01]: We helped inspire Flag Day.

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_01]: General Pershing was an Elk

[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_01]: and allowed to pick

[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_01]: and was allowed to pick when the

[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_01]: armistice was signed. I have been in a train car

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_01]: where the World War I

[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_01]: armistice was signed. It is in a city called

[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Campané, France.

[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_01]: It is where I was an exchange student

[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_01]: and learned nothing.

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Well my French students English

[00:21:39] [SPEAKER_01]: was so great. I'm like we don't have to

[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_01]: fake this bullshit about me trying to do French, right?

[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_01]: You're cool, right?

[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_01]: You're cool. She's like I do know which one we speak.

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like great!

[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to learn shit. This is awesome.

[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_01]: So he decided what time the armistice

[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_01]: was signed. The hour of 11

[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_01]: is we honor our departed members.

[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_01]: He picked the 11th month, the 11th day

[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_01]: and the 11th hour. I wonder

[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_01]: if that's why when I would take my grandpa out to lunch

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_01]: at this one place and he liked to be there by 11.

[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_01]: At 11 straight up

[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_01]: these people, could have been the Rotary Club

[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, would stand up

[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_01]: and salute the flag and say

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_01]: it might have been the Pledge of Allegiance or God Bless America.

[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't really remember but I remember them

[00:22:20] [SPEAKER_01]: all on cue.

[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that was that.

[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_00]: The Rotary Club wants us to do a shout out to them too.

[00:22:26] [SPEAKER_01]: The Rotaries?

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_01]: There's more emails.

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Oprah Winfier was an Elk Scholarship

[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_01]: winner. Of course she was.

[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Well I didn't know they were giving out scholarships.

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_01]: They had a Hoopshoot championship thing that I entered

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_01]: and I won.

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Five U.S. presidents were Elk.

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Babe Ruth.

[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Matt Dillon.

[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Well I know, if you ever make it to Albuquerque

[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_01]: this is where she'll take me and buy me a beer

[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_01]: and yes they're still like $2.

[00:22:50] Go ahead.

[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah that's your Jimmy.

[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Hold on there was one more

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_01]: that made me smile.

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh here's another Elk.

[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah we gotta get it.

[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I gotta find one by the house.

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_01]: This lady's dad was the president of the local lodge.

[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_01]: My first stop as a newborn baby

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_01]: was to the local lodge with my parents.

[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_01]: First job was an Elk's dishwasher.

[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Age 13.

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's not talk about labor laws.

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe there weren't any.

[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_01]: My first drink and smokes, Elk's lodge.

[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_01]: The lodge went from not allowing women

[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_01]: to having women rule local lodges

[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_01]: alongside men in just a decade.

[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Inexpensive beers and drinks

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_01]: usually golfers and bowlers.

[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Good barflies.

[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_01]: He's great for drinking.

[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_01]: He's very grateful and toughen me up.

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_01]: This is Art of Candice.

[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm growing up and a member myself

[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_01]: just ended a five year turn

[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_01]: as Nebraska Elk State Scholarship Chair.

[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm proud to sponsor you into a lodge.

[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay great I gotta find one by me.

[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_01]: In Nebraska.

[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I know but can you do it out of state?

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_01]: My dad is still around

[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_01]: just turned 80 I referred to him

[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_01]: as a turtle often thank you for the reference.

[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I use it on a golf course a lot.

[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like oh no there's four suits

[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_01]: and I'm like super turtles.

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_01]: That's over 80.

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_01]: If they're over 80.

[00:24:08] [SPEAKER_01]: One guy shuffles so much he destroys the greens

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_01]: with his golf shoes.

[00:24:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Dan the greens keeper is like oh god damn it

[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_01]: he's here.

[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Just go say something Dan.

[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_01]: He goes he's too old.

[00:24:19] [SPEAKER_01]: What are you going to say?

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Could you pick your feet up a little bit more?

[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_01]: He can't.

[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I go to see if he has old school spikes on

[00:24:25] [SPEAKER_01]: or just like an Elk.

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_01]: He's not going.

[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_01]: He goes no it's not quite that bad but

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_01]: you're allowed to clap.

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_01]: So now here's this is not

[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I have two that are not queens

[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_01]: but astonishing.

[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_01]: So I read this article

[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_01]: about Lala Palooza some girl

[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Chappelle Rhone

[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_01]: and I looked up how to pronounce it.

[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_01]: She had so many people

[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_01]: they had to move her in the daytime

[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_01]: to the nighttime stage

[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_01]: and cut out a spot for her.

[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_01]: She had more people they say

[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_01]: than ever before

[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_01]: in the history of Lala Palooza

[00:25:01] [SPEAKER_01]: and I'm like well who is this person?

[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_01]: So I looked her up

[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_01]: she changed her name that's her stage name

[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_01]: but it's her grandpa's name or something

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_01]: it's all intertwined but

[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_01]: her real name is Kaylee Rose Amstutz

[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_01]: and she's from Willard, Missouri

[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_01]: and I'm like where's Willard, Missouri

[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I've been to every town I would think

[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_01]: in Missouri.

[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_01]: It's down by Springfield

[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_01]: there's not

[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean it's not populated

[00:25:26] [SPEAKER_01]: and even Springfield is not that

[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_01]: compared to St. Louis or Kansas City

[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_01]: This girl is the biggest thing

[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_01]: going

[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_01]: and I listened to her music

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_01]: and I really liked it

[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_01]: it's like a mix of Florence and the machine

[00:25:39] [SPEAKER_01]: a little Tay-Tay

[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Little Maggie Rogers

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_01]: and then occasionally said

[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Billie Eilish sad child

[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_01]: the children are sad at their core

[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why they're so sad

[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_01]: but Billie Eilish

[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_01]: That's squeaking

[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah

[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_01]: They don't want to come out of their room

[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_01]: or live or do anything

[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_01]: But this one has got a lot more

[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_01]: and I hear a little bit of your

[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_01]: rhythmics with the synthesizer

[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_01]: she was inspired by 80s

[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_01]: she liked the 80s synthesizer sound

[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_01]: She was 17 years old

[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_01]: This is a song you should go listen to

[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_01]: it's on YouTube, it's called Die Young

[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_01]: and she did it all by herself

[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_01]: She was immediately signed

[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_01]: to Atlantic Records

[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_01]: then in 2017 she released

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_01]: her debut album School Nights

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_01]: her 2020 single Pink Pony Club

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_01]: was a stylistic departure from

[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_01]: an early and facilitated initial rise to prominence

[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_01]: She was dropped from Atlantic Records

[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_01]: well that was really dumb on your part

[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Atlantic Records

[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I'd go find exactly who the fuck decided that

[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Who just because you're fired

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_01]: You're fired

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_01]: You're fired

[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_01]: and then she's released all these other videos

[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_01]: and it's just astonishing

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Her mother is a veterinarian

[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_01]: and her father

[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_01]: manages a family practice

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_01]: in Springfield as a registered nurse

[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_01]: and neurological and burn intensive care unit

[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_01]: She described her hometown as conservative

[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_01]: and Christian and you know

[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_01]: that's the running joke

[00:27:06] [SPEAKER_01]: We all had to take my mom

[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_01]: a long time ago my mom had breast cancer

[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_01]: she had to do the radiation in Springfield

[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_01]: and my dad

[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_01]: we all hadn't been down there a long time

[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_01]: and my dad said

[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_01]: well I hear Springfield's really coming along

[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I said it is, it's very nice

[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_01]: but the running joke is

[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_01]: little christiany

[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_01]: for the Catholics

[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_01]: but lately I've seen a lot more

[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_01]: of everybody else

[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_01]: coming into but for a while

[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_01]: it was like that southern Missouri

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_01]: sorta not Bible

[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_01]: and we'll belt but close

[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_01]: where we just go what are you doing on Wednesday

[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_01]: you have a Bible study

[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_01]: on Wednesday

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_01]: that's hump day, you're supposed to be out for drinks

[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_01]: and tacos

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_01]: the fuck

[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_01]: we would, no

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_01]: we barely get the Catholics to come on Sunday

[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_00]: doesn't she kinda do David Bowie

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_00]: make up and stuff too

[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_01]: her make up

[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_01]: and her outfits

[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_01]: my sister I asked if the twins knew

[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I go do they like this girl

[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_01]: she said yes they do

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_01]: but then my sister said

[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_01]: she has a weird stage presence

[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_01]: so before

[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_01]: WWE, before they get famous

[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_01]: there's many tours of wrestling

[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_01]: and they go to like Holiday Inn's

[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_01]: in mid-Missouri and Bum Fuck Ohio

[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_01]: and you gotta start somewhere

[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_01]: it's just like comedy, you're gonna do comedy in a bar

[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_01]: until you get to a club

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_01]: but I would describe Chappelle's

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_01]: look

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_01]: as a wrestler

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_01]: in a Holiday Inn

[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_01]: in mid-Missouri

[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_01]: combined

[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_01]: with David Bowie

[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_01]: combined

[00:28:42] [SPEAKER_01]: with some sort of fairy

[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_01]: like a real fairy out of a

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_01]: there's a lot going on

[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_01]: there was a couple outfits

[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like too much

[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_01]: wrestling paint

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I gotta throw a bunch of glitter on her

[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_01]: and let's glitter this up

[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_01]: but overall

[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_01]: she likes dressing up weird

[00:29:01] [SPEAKER_01]: and she's weird

[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_01]: she had to spend a lot of time at Christian summer camps

[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_01]: that's another thing like when we grew up

[00:29:08] [SPEAKER_01]: where like see these signs

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_01]: where it says

[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I never knew

[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_01]: VBC

[00:29:16] [SPEAKER_01]: signs all over

[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_01]: not in St. Louis, this is all like out

[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_01]: in the hinterland of Missouri

[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like what's VBC

[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_01]: and we didn't have Google back then so we didn't know

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Vacation Bible Camp

[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like

[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_01]: the Catholics we didn't even have camps

[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_01]: you went camping with your parents

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_01]: not

[00:29:35] [SPEAKER_00]: so do Canadians

[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_01]: when people go

[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_01]: are your children going to camp

[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_01]: you mean to camp with me

[00:29:44] [SPEAKER_01]: no they're not going to a camp

[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_01]: she plays the piano great

[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying

[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_01]: it was such a headline

[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like who is this kid

[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_01]: and she's only

[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know born in 1980

[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_01]: how does that make her

[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_01]: 1988 no 98 sorry

[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_00]: 98

[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_01]: so 24

[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus great good for her

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_01]: she already got to meet Elton John

[00:30:09] [SPEAKER_01]: 26

[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_03]: 98

[00:30:13] [SPEAKER_01]: wow

[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_01]: 24 plus 2

[00:30:17] [SPEAKER_01]: move it on

[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_01]: this is

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_01]: should I make her yeah we'll make her a queen

[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_01]: for the children

[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_01]: she put her children I like it too though

[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean I think all people that's what I'm saying

[00:30:28] [SPEAKER_01]: and it's not just for the children

[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_01]: we do need a Missouri Queen

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_01]: we don't we need to mean another one

[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_01]: well I'm not

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_01]: no no no this is

[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_01]: not a queen but she should be but she's too old

[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_01]: to make a queen for this show

[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_01]: because she doesn't do enough anymore but this makes me mad

[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_01]: this made me laugh the people you are waiting

[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_01]: too long to write memoirs

[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_01]: could I please just say one thing that'll resonate

[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_01]: in 2024 while I'm doing the work of the Lord

[00:30:52] [SPEAKER_01]: if you feel the need to

[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_01]: write a memoir do it at

[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_01]: 65 not

[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_01]: 80 the Barbara Strangestad

[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_01]: still wine and nobody bought her book what the people

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_01]: who knew you half of them are dead

[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_01]: and also he can't

[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_01]: be 900 pages Barbara

[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know who let that go on it's like

[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_01]: 7000 pages or some shit

[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_01]: well here's another one Liza

[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Manelli said she's tired of other people telling

[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_01]: her story the legendary

[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_01]: star said that she has a memoir

[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_01]: coming out and it's going to cover everything

[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_01]: since I was old enough to put

[00:31:24] [SPEAKER_01]: pen to pencil to paper people asked me to write

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_01]: book great but my career I said absolutely

[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_01]: not tell him what I'm going on was my philosophy

[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_01]: but she cited

[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_01]: a sabotage appearance at the at the Oscars

[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_01]: a film with twisted half

[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_01]: truce and a recent mini series

[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_01]: that didn't get it right all made by

[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_01]: people who didn't know my family and didn't know me

[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_01]: as reasons she decided to share her life

[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_01]: story now I was mad

[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_01]: as hell over dinner one night

[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I decided it's my own damn story

[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to share it with you because all of you

[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_01]: love you've given me

[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_01]: you know

[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Google how old she is I'm going to say she's

[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_01]: 78 79 this won't be out till

[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_01]: she's 80 like

[00:32:04] [SPEAKER_01]: 78 was her birthday

[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_01]: oh she's a Pisces

[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_01]: March 12th

[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_01]: okay

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean I hope somebody buys it for

[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_01]: her it's oh it's going to come out in the spring of

[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_01]: 2026 guys

[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_01]: okay if you decide to do one

[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_01]: here's another thing you could do

[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_01]: get six of the children and bring them in a room

[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_01]: and tell stories for a week

[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_01]: eight hours a day tell me every

[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_01]: story you got have the children write it down

[00:32:31] [SPEAKER_01]: we can have that book out in

[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_01]: three months

[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_01]: right

[00:32:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I will say in defensive lives of

[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Manelli who I've never met my friend

[00:32:42] [SPEAKER_01]: did work on a rest of development

[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_01]: that TV show and she was on quite a few episodes

[00:32:46] [SPEAKER_01]: and everybody had nothing but

[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_01]: wonderful things they said she was funny

[00:32:49] [SPEAKER_01]: she was prepared

[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_01]: she's nice she's normal like you could

[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_01]: just walk into her makeup trailer she just talked to

[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_01]: you like a normal human being so

[00:32:57] [SPEAKER_01]: considering the life she had it's pretty cool

[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_01]: that she's still normal

[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Laura left is 71

[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_01]: oh my god

[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_01]: is her half sister I have to tell

[00:33:07] [SPEAKER_01]: this story I don't ever tell work stories

[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_01]: but this made me laugh

[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_01]: so hard this is years ago

[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_01]: so I'm working

[00:33:15] [SPEAKER_01]: with a comedian named Al

[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_01]: who's very sweet and very funny

[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_01]: he and outside all week

[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_01]: long I saw

[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_01]: on the big in the big room we're in the comedy club

[00:33:25] [SPEAKER_01]: this is at the trap can in Vegas probably

[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_01]: in the 90s

[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_01]: it said Don Rickles

[00:33:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Lorna Luft

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_01]: now there's no phone there's no google

[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know who Lorna Luft is

[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_01]: in my mind I'm like I'll ask my mom and dad

[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_01]: when I talk to him but long distance

[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I only called once a week

[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_01]: cause I was too cheap and I didn't care

[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_01]: they didn't care where I was at

[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_01]: me and Al

[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_01]: so it was gonna be New Year's Eve

[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_01]: so it's a big big deal

[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_01]: and we get in the elevator

[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_01]: and holy shit there's Don Rickles

[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_01]: and I go

[00:33:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I was kicking out like you talked to him

[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_01]: like I don't want to and Al goes

[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_01]: hello Mr. Rickles where the

[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_01]: comedian's up in the comedy club

[00:34:06] [SPEAKER_01]: he goes I'm sorry to hear that

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_01]: like meaning we're stuck in the club

[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_01]: right and since Al started

[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_01]: and he seemed friendly even though he was

[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_01]: you know making fun of us which was funny

[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_01]: he goes I said who's Lorna Luft

[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_01]: do you care if I ask cause

[00:34:20] [SPEAKER_01]: we want to come see you but we only

[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_01]: have enough time in between shows to make sure

[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_01]: should we try to rate

[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_01]: he goes Lorna Luft

[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Liza Minnelli's half sister

[00:34:30] [SPEAKER_01]: and by half I mean

[00:34:32] [SPEAKER_01]: half the talent half the looks

[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_01]: good night and he walked out of the elevator

[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I was like oh my god

[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_01]: now I gotta see what she looks like right

[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_01]: now I gotta well we went down

[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_01]: and um

[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_01]: she sang fine

[00:34:46] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah they do not look at all the like

[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying one's better looking than the other but

[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_01]: they don't look they have different fathers

[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_01]: and they both look like their fathers

[00:34:54] [SPEAKER_01]: so anyway

[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Don Rickles half the talent

[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_01]: half the looks

[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_01]: who says that about their opening act

[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I think he do cause we weren't the general public

[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_01]: we were just other comedians that we would just laugh

[00:35:08] [SPEAKER_01]: and we did but I also didn't really

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_01]: get it cause I didn't even know who she was

[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_01]: um anyway

[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_01]: moving on to queen news

[00:35:17] [SPEAKER_01]: let me mark Chapelle off there

[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_01]: um you gotta go check her out

[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_01]: is crazy

[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_01]: put in the schnauz

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Chapelle Rone

[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_01]: um Tete

[00:35:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Queen Tete spent a terrible

[00:35:30] [SPEAKER_01]: terrible

[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_01]: the children and then it is the children

[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_01]: their teenager terrorists

[00:35:36] [SPEAKER_01]: and they were gonna do all this evil shit

[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_01]: and I don't wanna say how I know something that I know

[00:35:40] [SPEAKER_01]: but I know the crew was on

[00:35:42] [SPEAKER_01]: lockdown and got crazy emails

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_01]: and it just

[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_01]: you know you've become so big

[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_01]: you're a target I don't know what you do

[00:35:50] [SPEAKER_01]: after that I don't know

[00:35:52] [SPEAKER_01]: you gotta go home to

[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_01]: go home to travel and go to Kansas City

[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_01]: and go to Joe's barbecue and then go into the chiefs game

[00:35:58] [SPEAKER_01]: especially now it's fall it's gonna be so nice

[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Joe's makes everything better

[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Joe's

[00:36:04] [SPEAKER_01]: and then if Joe's isn't open you can go down to

[00:36:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Arthur Bryant's I love that one too

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_01]: there's so much good barbecue you need barbecue all

[00:36:10] [SPEAKER_01]: we can not get sick of it

[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_01]: so they arrested two of the suspects

[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_01]: they canceled three shows in Vienna

[00:36:15] [SPEAKER_01]: then the children came out singing anyway

[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_01]: they all went and met up at the place where

[00:36:20] [SPEAKER_01]: and I'm like guys see

[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_01]: that's where as a parent I'd be like no

[00:36:23] [SPEAKER_01]: you're not going to the meetup

[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry to break your heart you're gonna stay in your room

[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_01]: and you're gonna cry forever

[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_01]: but you're just going back to the place where

[00:36:30] [SPEAKER_01]: they arrested two but what if there's more

[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_01]: and they're baby ISIS people

[00:36:36] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah and who's giving them the money

[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_01]: and all that I'm sure it'll all be

[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_01]: tracked down but I mean

[00:36:42] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah then you just think

[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_01]: God now she's going to London

[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_01]: so they've changed the rules now

[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_01]: but I told you guys this on the podcast

[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_01]: after seeing that fucking

[00:36:51] [SPEAKER_01]: soccer game in Miami

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_01]: where the Colombians

[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_01]: bumrushed the place and 5,000 people

[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_01]: got in without a ticket they're going through the HVAC

[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_01]: they're going over walls

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_01]: you can't

[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_01]: so what I was saying for Miami

[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_01]: is they should have set up

[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_01]: a ring that's

[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_01]: out from the stadium

[00:37:10] [SPEAKER_01]: and saying you can't get past here without a ticket

[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_01]: don't let them get that close

[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_01]: that they can climb in their air conditioning events

[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean this is crazy

[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_01]: well Tete

[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_01]: they've done it now

[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_01]: they are

[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_01]: setting up a perimeter ring

[00:37:26] [SPEAKER_01]: but now that's sad for the children

[00:37:28] [SPEAKER_01]: because then they like to gather

[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I've always thought it was very nice

[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_01]: that even though they don't have a ticket they get excited anyway

[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_01]: and go

[00:37:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I love Stevie

[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I love Cher but if I don't have a ticket

[00:37:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to go down and sing

[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_01]: White Wing Dove with a bunch of other 50 year old ladies

[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_01]: because they're not there

[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_01]: well I'd be

[00:37:47] [SPEAKER_01]: well right I'd be the only one probably

[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_01]: but let's say I heard there was a group

[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_01]: of witches in a coven singing

[00:37:53] [SPEAKER_01]: landslide I'd say good for them

[00:37:55] [SPEAKER_01]: send me a video on tiktok but no I'm not attending

[00:37:58] [SPEAKER_01]: no I'm busy

[00:38:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Tete

[00:38:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Snoop wrapped up a great job

[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_01]: well done I think he's the reason for the ratings

[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean because the Olympics

[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_01]: we'll get to that in a second but there was a lot of

[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_01]: bullshit

[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_01]: a lot of bullshit

[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I know

[00:38:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Cher, nothing quiet

[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Tanya quiet

[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I read a thing that was kind of funny

[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_01]: her boyfriend

[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_01]: or whatever is getting sick of the amount of animals

[00:38:25] [SPEAKER_01]: like she brings the chickens in the house

[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_01]: and gives them baths and stuff I love it

[00:38:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Loretta Hen

[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_01]: and I forget what the other chickens did

[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_01]: oh yeah and they do seem to know their name

[00:38:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean they do react like as much as a cat would

[00:38:38] [SPEAKER_01]: the chickens do

[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah that's why then I think I could never kill the chicken

[00:38:43] [SPEAKER_01]: not unless I was absolutely starving

[00:38:46] [SPEAKER_01]: and

[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Jelly Belly went to the opening of the new

[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_01]: youth center here in Nashville

[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_01]: he was part of the grand opening and they spent

[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_01]: like 20 million he said it's money well spent

[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_01]: for those of you complaining

[00:38:56] [SPEAKER_01]: that we spent all this money just know that

[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_01]: this will probably keep these kids out of the system

[00:39:00] [SPEAKER_01]: he went through the cost savings

[00:39:03] [SPEAKER_01]: of how it will work

[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_01]: so if you can't appeal to your moral side

[00:39:06] [SPEAKER_01]: can I please appeal to your financial side

[00:39:08] [SPEAKER_01]: wonderful job

[00:39:10] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_01]: okay well watching

[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_01]: it's the Olympics

[00:39:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I watched NBC

[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_01]: so fucking

[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_01]: stupid

[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_01]: so I get home from Niagara Falls

[00:39:23] [SPEAKER_01]: turn on the Olympics

[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_01]: they're showing the closing ceremonies in the day

[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I watched the whole thing

[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_01]: at four o'clock and then you're going to try to trick me

[00:39:32] [SPEAKER_01]: to watch it at night time

[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_01]: you just showed me I do not understand

[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_01]: why they've been doing that all week

[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even understand

[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_01]: the Tom Cruise thing

[00:39:42] [SPEAKER_01]: here's the problem too

[00:39:43] [SPEAKER_01]: if you're a person who's in mission impossible

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't believe anything in those movies

[00:39:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I know there are tricks so why do I believe this

[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_01]: it should be somebody who has nothing to do with that

[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_01]: if I saw Dolly Parton jump off

[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_01]: the edge of a building I would be alarmed

[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_01]: because I would think oh my god

[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_01]: but if I see Tom Cruise do it

[00:40:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like this is some sort of trick or bullshit

[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_01]: even if he's doing it

[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't really care so you bungee jumped

[00:40:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean I'm not going that high I'm afraid of heights

[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_01]: but for people that aren't afraid of heights

[00:40:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Pink does that shit every night

[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_01]: in her shows she's flying around

[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_01]: like Batman

[00:40:15] [SPEAKER_01]: and then

[00:40:17] [SPEAKER_01]: then it got to

[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_01]: LA and he's at the Hollywood

[00:40:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't get it

[00:40:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I think

[00:40:25] [SPEAKER_01]: the breakdancing was a massive failure

[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_01]: they canceled it forever

[00:40:28] [SPEAKER_01]: even if it wasn't for that lady who was not a dancer

[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_01]: and faked it which is so funny

[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_01]: and I mean the Australian government believed her

[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_01]: people might not know about that

[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_01]: well there was a girl lady

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_01]: girl I don't know whatever

[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_01]: probably 30

[00:40:41] [SPEAKER_01]: she convinced the Australian government

[00:40:43] [SPEAKER_01]: to send her as my dad would say

[00:40:45] [SPEAKER_01]: a young gal

[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_01]: to send her to the Olympics as a break dancer

[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_01]: and then she had all these

[00:40:53] [SPEAKER_01]: you know on her little

[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_01]: resume that she's part of a social outreach

[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_01]: program and all that kind of stuff

[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_01]: right so they said okay well I guess

[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_01]: nobody in Australia said can we see your dance

[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_01]: before you go because it was all over

[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_01]: TikTok it's all over she looks like

[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_01]: me it looks like me drunk

[00:41:08] [SPEAKER_01]: asking for another shot going come on man

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_01]: like I mean it was

[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_01]: so bad everybody

[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_01]: here's the other thing about the breakdancing

[00:41:16] [SPEAKER_01]: if I see a movie with breakdancing

[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_01]: in it I just assume it was

[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_01]: made in the 90s aren't have we are people

[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_01]: still doing that somewhere

[00:41:24] [SPEAKER_01]: are the children doing it I don't ever see

[00:41:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I hear nothing about it from

[00:41:28] [SPEAKER_01]: my nieces and nephews that are that age

[00:41:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't see videos on TikTok

[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_01]: ever or well

[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm asking the children termites

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_01]: the termites

[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_01]: is that still a

[00:41:40] [SPEAKER_01]: thing am I just missing it

[00:41:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know there's a lot of people

[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_01]: that want the dressage

[00:41:46] [SPEAKER_01]: or dressage what they want that out

[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_01]: because they think it's cruel I don't think it's very nice

[00:41:50] [SPEAKER_01]: but I said that

[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Snoop's commentary was amazing

[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Martha Stewart but

[00:41:55] [SPEAKER_01]: you know

[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_01]: what are you doing

[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_01]: what are we doing with these horses

[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_01]: and you know my sister goes well maybe they

[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_01]: like it no they don't

[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_01]: or they would do it on their own

[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't

[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know I thought

[00:42:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I never thought I'd say I miss Bob

[00:42:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Cassis but I did miss Bob

[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_01]: and my treat goes fine

[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_01]: but he doesn't have this

[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah it was all

[00:42:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Snoop and Martha that got the ratings

[00:42:23] [SPEAKER_01]: and Flaviflave

[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_01]: he did a good job with his area

[00:42:28] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah you need like

[00:42:29] [SPEAKER_01]: a celebrity sponsor for each

[00:42:31] [SPEAKER_01]: thing unless it's a thing that everybody's watching anyway

[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_01]: like the gymnastics

[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_01]: and then there's still a big fight over that girl's bronze

[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_01]: metal that thing was horrible

[00:42:39] [SPEAKER_01]: fucking horrible you told

[00:42:41] [SPEAKER_01]: the girl from Slovakia wherever she won

[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_01]: then you took it away

[00:42:45] [SPEAKER_01]: and now you say you won

[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_01]: and now they're saying we approve or we put our thing in at

[00:42:49] [SPEAKER_01]: time so then they'll take it back again I guess

[00:42:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll give two

[00:42:53] [SPEAKER_01]: such an easy answer

[00:42:55] [SPEAKER_01]: you each get it yeah

[00:42:56] [SPEAKER_01]: each get a bronze I mean I don't know

[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe it matters more to them but I would

[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_01]: do another mess

[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_01]: the Irish swimmer who got the gold

[00:43:05] [SPEAKER_01]: the distance guy

[00:43:07] [SPEAKER_01]: well he did something in the sin

[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_01]: as part of a river and ended up in the hospital

[00:43:10] [SPEAKER_01]: because he said so much water went in his mouth

[00:43:13] [SPEAKER_01]: and he doesn't even know what went in his body

[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_01]: ah

[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_01]: next year we're going to be having all the events

[00:43:23] [SPEAKER_01]: in the Mississippi

[00:43:24] [SPEAKER_01]: now you might get hit by a log or a dead body

[00:43:27] [SPEAKER_01]: or maybe a tire

[00:43:28] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe you'll get hit by a tire

[00:43:29] [SPEAKER_01]: let's see some real swimmers

[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_01]: let's see some real people of action

[00:43:33] [SPEAKER_01]: I dare you to jump in the Mississippi under the arch

[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_01]: in St. Louis let's start there

[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_01]: anyway

[00:43:40] [SPEAKER_01]: speaking of are you crazy

[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_01]: the other thing I watched

[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_01]: it's on Netflix it's called Mountain Queen

[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_01]: it's about that Sherpa female Sherpa

[00:43:48] [SPEAKER_01]: that is summited more than anyone else

[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_01]: and she lives in Connecticut and she works

[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_01]: in a grocery store doing crappy

[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_01]: jobs to save all of her money

[00:43:56] [SPEAKER_01]: and I can't

[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_01]: explain what this lady's life is like

[00:44:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I

[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_01]: don't understand why nobody has stepped in

[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_01]: as a real sponsor

[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_01]: let's get this lady

[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Patagonia all with

[00:44:10] [SPEAKER_01]: climbing what are climbing people where

[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_01]: North Face

[00:44:13] [SPEAKER_01]: North Face

[00:44:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I have one of the switchers from

[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_01]: R.E.I.A

[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Arcterics

[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know what it means but it was on sale and it was black

[00:44:23] [SPEAKER_01]: it was cute

[00:44:26] [SPEAKER_01]: to watch what that lady is capable of

[00:44:28] [SPEAKER_01]: is just astonishing

[00:44:29] [SPEAKER_01]: and then to think she's living in Connecticut

[00:44:31] [SPEAKER_01]: in some shitty apartment

[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_01]: working at what looks like a Whole Foods

[00:44:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what it is

[00:44:36] [SPEAKER_01]: is it a Whole Foods

[00:44:40] [SPEAKER_01]: her English is pretty good

[00:44:43] [SPEAKER_01]: she should be on posters

[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_01]: like in R.E.I.

[00:44:46] [SPEAKER_01]: there should be a whole thing in the climbing

[00:44:47] [SPEAKER_01]: it should be that lady

[00:44:49] [SPEAKER_01]: it's just bizarre to me

[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_01]: it's such low hanging fruit

[00:44:53] [SPEAKER_01]: R.E.I. half the store is climbing shit

[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_01]: tell me who's better

[00:44:59] [SPEAKER_01]: right now

[00:44:59] [SPEAKER_01]: is there a dude that's gone more

[00:45:01] [SPEAKER_01]: put them both up

[00:45:05] [SPEAKER_01]: we've settled that issue

[00:45:07] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe I'll get on it for that lady

[00:45:09] [SPEAKER_01]: let's see if I can find her a sponsor

[00:45:10] [SPEAKER_01]: let's start calling people

[00:45:12] [SPEAKER_01]: is anybody listening from Patagonia

[00:45:14] [SPEAKER_01]: or anywhere the above mention

[00:45:16] [SPEAKER_01]: update

[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Banksy's on a tear

[00:45:20] [SPEAKER_01]: really?

[00:45:21] [SPEAKER_01]: all over London I couldn't print the articles fast enough

[00:45:24] [SPEAKER_01]: oh wow

[00:45:25] [SPEAKER_01]: one mural after another mural after another one

[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_01]: the first one which is probably my favorite

[00:45:30] [SPEAKER_01]: is a mountain goat on the side of a building

[00:45:32] [SPEAKER_01]: cool

[00:45:33] [SPEAKER_01]: he's balancing on a ledge and there's rocks falling out

[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_01]: this guy saw it

[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_01]: an art teacher spotted the thing

[00:45:41] [SPEAKER_01]: it was on his instagram post

[00:45:42] [SPEAKER_01]: and she immediately knew its location

[00:45:44] [SPEAKER_01]: cause she lives there

[00:45:45] [SPEAKER_01]: and ran straight out the door to go find it

[00:45:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I saw his post on instagram 40 seconds after

[00:45:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I went up and it was immediately recognized

[00:45:52] [SPEAKER_01]: where the art was

[00:45:53] [SPEAKER_01]: so she got a big thrill

[00:45:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I tell myself I made this happen

[00:45:57] [SPEAKER_01]: probably not but it's a huge coincidence

[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't believe he was just standing there

[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_01]: she thinks it has something to do with the environment

[00:46:04] [SPEAKER_01]: a lot of people say well he's just doing this

[00:46:06] [SPEAKER_01]: cause it makes people happy

[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_01]: this is in west London

[00:46:09] [SPEAKER_01]: this mountain goat thing

[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_01]: some people say

[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_01]: it's a precipice

[00:46:15] [SPEAKER_01]: represented the human race

[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_01]: currently being on the edge of extinction

[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I think you're thinking too hard

[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_01]: one person said

[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe it has no meaning at all

[00:46:25] [SPEAKER_01]: he just thought it would look cool

[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_01]: exactly I'm with that guy

[00:46:28] [SPEAKER_01]: lady, whoever

[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_01]: then he has two elephants

[00:46:33] [SPEAKER_01]: second one appears in two days

[00:46:34] [SPEAKER_01]: in London

[00:46:37] [SPEAKER_01]: this guy's been up every night

[00:46:38] [SPEAKER_01]: late night

[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_01]: two elephants

[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_01]: and their trunks are kind of touching

[00:46:43] [SPEAKER_01]: third one, three monkeys

[00:46:45] [SPEAKER_01]: they're so fun

[00:46:47] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah it says three monkeys in third banks

[00:46:49] [SPEAKER_01]: he artworks in three days

[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_01]: it was in London as well

[00:46:53] [SPEAKER_01]: he posted it on his instagram

[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess he posted it right after he does it

[00:46:56] [SPEAKER_01]: then he runs away

[00:46:58] [SPEAKER_01]: it's a bridge over brick lane

[00:47:01] [SPEAKER_01]: somewhere

[00:47:03] [SPEAKER_01]: from, yeah I don't know any of these places

[00:47:04] [SPEAKER_01]: just London if you want to go find it

[00:47:07] [SPEAKER_01]: then a fourth one

[00:47:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what the fourth one was

[00:47:10] [SPEAKER_01]: a fifth one

[00:47:13] [SPEAKER_01]: they're so fun

[00:47:15] [SPEAKER_01]: birds in a silhouette

[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_01]: fishing above the shop

[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_01]: on the corner of something

[00:47:20] [SPEAKER_01]: fifth London one this week

[00:47:23] [SPEAKER_01]: it's just so exciting

[00:47:25] [SPEAKER_01]: and then they're going to take one down

[00:47:28] [SPEAKER_01]: so he

[00:47:29] [SPEAKER_01]: the fourth one, oh here's the fourth one

[00:47:31] [SPEAKER_01]: it's a cat stretching

[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_01]: well I love the goat the best

[00:47:35] [SPEAKER_01]: and then I love the cat

[00:47:36] [SPEAKER_01]: but they're going to remove it

[00:47:38] [SPEAKER_01]: because it's on a billboard that was scheduled to be removed anyway

[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_02]: that's stupid

[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_01]: you can't leave it and put up a different billboard

[00:47:47] [SPEAKER_01]: and then just move it five feet

[00:47:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I know

[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah

[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_01]: he confirmed it with him

[00:47:54] [SPEAKER_01]: because he posts him on his Instagram

[00:47:56] [SPEAKER_01]: whatever the, his real name

[00:47:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I think is Robbie, I think it's that Robbie guy

[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_01]: but whatever, I hope nobody ever really finds out

[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_01]: because it keeps it fun

[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah they're going to remove it

[00:48:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean people

[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_01]: talk about it no fun Charlie

[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_01]: you need that billboard

[00:48:11] [SPEAKER_01]: how much were you making

[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_01]: off that

[00:48:13] [SPEAKER_01]: or just put your other billboard somewhere

[00:48:18] [SPEAKER_01]: right by it

[00:48:22] [SPEAKER_01]: banks he's on

[00:48:23] [SPEAKER_01]: a terror

[00:48:24] [SPEAKER_01]: update

[00:48:27] [SPEAKER_01]: the sphere

[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_01]: you know how I like to keep track of what's going on there

[00:48:31] [SPEAKER_01]: the Wizard of Oz could be

[00:48:33] [SPEAKER_01]: adapted to the screen at the sphere in Las Vegas

[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_01]: James Dolan's company may spend a

[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_01]: reported 80 million to update the

[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_01]: 1939 classic into an

[00:48:41] [SPEAKER_01]: immersive experience

[00:48:44] [SPEAKER_01]: no way

[00:48:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I would totally go

[00:48:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I've never watched the whole movie

[00:48:49] [SPEAKER_01]: ever

[00:48:50] [SPEAKER_01]: it scares the shit out of me

[00:48:52] [SPEAKER_01]: well as soon as she said oh we're in Kansas

[00:48:55] [SPEAKER_01]: and then

[00:48:56] [SPEAKER_01]: this was all supposed to be and I'm like

[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm in Missouri, I'm right next to that

[00:49:00] [SPEAKER_01]: this shit could happen to me

[00:49:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not watching this

[00:49:03] [SPEAKER_01]: thought it was terrifying

[00:49:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like turn on Hogan's Heroes

[00:49:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not watching it, how about the Brady Bunch

[00:49:09] [SPEAKER_01]: nope so if you're

[00:49:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Wizard of Oz person

[00:49:12] [SPEAKER_01]: just letting you know they're working on it

[00:49:15] [SPEAKER_01]: update

[00:49:18] [SPEAKER_01]: this is really good news

[00:49:19] [SPEAKER_01]: for the January 6th

[00:49:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Ryder the QAnon Shaman

[00:49:22] [SPEAKER_01]: the Shaman

[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_01]: is going to get his spear and his headdress

[00:49:26] [SPEAKER_01]: with the horns back

[00:49:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't give it back

[00:49:30] [SPEAKER_01]: to him, I would not

[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_01]: no this judge is nicer than I am

[00:49:36] [SPEAKER_01]: he's going to get his

[00:49:37] [SPEAKER_01]: spear he carried back as well

[00:49:38] [SPEAKER_01]: as his horn coyote tailed headdress

[00:49:40] [SPEAKER_01]: a judge ruled

[00:49:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Judge Royce Lambert

[00:49:45] [SPEAKER_01]: orders it back

[00:49:46] [SPEAKER_01]: because it was evidence and now he served his time

[00:49:48] [SPEAKER_01]: and all this shit so

[00:49:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I would have figured out a way to keep it

[00:49:52] [SPEAKER_01]: because he'll just make more money off this

[00:49:54] [SPEAKER_01]: like he'll just run around and be the crazy person to get

[00:49:56] [SPEAKER_01]: like no you shouldn't be able to profit

[00:49:59] [SPEAKER_01]: off your crime

[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know

[00:50:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I'd find a way but he's getting his shit back

[00:50:04] [SPEAKER_01]: speaking of Ryder

[00:50:05] [SPEAKER_01]: uh oh update update update

[00:50:08] [SPEAKER_01]: the US Capitol Ryder

[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_01]: sentenced to 20 years one of the longest punishments yet

[00:50:13] [SPEAKER_01]: boom was it worth it

[00:50:15] [SPEAKER_01]: was it worth it

[00:50:16] [SPEAKER_01]: when Mike Pence stopped you at the front door anyway

[00:50:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Mike wouldn't go along with it

[00:50:23] [SPEAKER_01]: it's a California man who repeatedly

[00:50:25] [SPEAKER_01]: attacked police with flagpoles and weapons

[00:50:26] [SPEAKER_01]: and had a history of political violence

[00:50:29] [SPEAKER_01]: bye bye chicken pie

[00:50:31] [SPEAKER_01]: David Nicholas Dempsey

[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_01]: sentenced as one of the longest of the hundreds of the

[00:50:37] [SPEAKER_01]: he attacked the cops

[00:50:38] [SPEAKER_01]: he did everything

[00:50:39] [SPEAKER_01]: he used other

[00:50:41] [SPEAKER_01]: writers like human scaffolding to reach

[00:50:43] [SPEAKER_01]: officers guarding tunnel under

[00:50:45] [SPEAKER_01]: he injured two cops

[00:50:46] [SPEAKER_01]: these are the same people that say they love the cops

[00:50:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll never understand this

[00:50:51] [SPEAKER_01]: anyway 20 years

[00:50:53] [SPEAKER_01]: have fun if you're good you get out in 15

[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_01]: let's see if it says how old he is

[00:50:58] [SPEAKER_01]: he ain't young, I'll tell you that

[00:51:01] [SPEAKER_01]: so no it doesn't say

[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_01]: he looks to be in his 40s

[00:51:06] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe 50s

[00:51:07] [SPEAKER_01]: 15 years is going to be a long time

[00:51:09] [SPEAKER_01]: very long

[00:51:10] [SPEAKER_01]: holy shit

[00:51:15] [SPEAKER_01]: this is crazy

[00:51:17] [SPEAKER_01]: the mystery of the bronze age axe

[00:51:20] [SPEAKER_01]: heads mailed anonymously

[00:51:22] [SPEAKER_01]: to an Irish museum has been solved

[00:51:24] what?

[00:51:25] [SPEAKER_01]: this is what's great about the Irish people

[00:51:27] [SPEAKER_01]: just go check your mailbox

[00:51:29] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe some person accidentally

[00:51:32] [SPEAKER_01]: mailed me a bronze age axe

[00:51:34] [SPEAKER_01]: wow

[00:51:34] [SPEAKER_01]: well a farmer stumbled upon the 4000 year artifacts

[00:51:37] [SPEAKER_01]: while working his field in central Ireland

[00:51:42] [SPEAKER_01]: earlier this year

[00:51:43] [SPEAKER_01]: the national museum of Ireland received a package

[00:51:45] [SPEAKER_01]: containing two bronze age axe heads

[00:51:48] [SPEAKER_01]: inside a flapjack box

[00:51:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to play

[00:51:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I look at it the box

[00:51:54] [SPEAKER_01]: it is a pancake

[00:51:55] [SPEAKER_01]: but maybe they mean a flat box

[00:51:58] [SPEAKER_01]: they urged the anonymous

[00:52:00] [SPEAKER_01]: sender to come forward

[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_01]: several months later the mystery has been solved

[00:52:03] [SPEAKER_01]: the 4000 year old artifacts had been unearthed

[00:52:05] [SPEAKER_01]: in a field in west meath

[00:52:06] [SPEAKER_01]: a county in central Ireland

[00:52:08] [SPEAKER_01]: owner is Thomas Dunn

[00:52:10] [SPEAKER_01]: who didn't learn about the buzz surrounding the artifacts

[00:52:12] [SPEAKER_01]: after it had already been in the news for a week

[00:52:14] [SPEAKER_01]: he didn't know about it

[00:52:15] [SPEAKER_01]: he came across the axe fields earlier this summer

[00:52:18] [SPEAKER_01]: he was farming

[00:52:19] [SPEAKER_01]: harvesting grass for light

[00:52:20] [SPEAKER_01]: so I had to feed on his farm

[00:52:22] [SPEAKER_01]: when he felt a piece of steel

[00:52:24] [SPEAKER_01]: he was afraid it would break his equipment

[00:52:27] [SPEAKER_01]: then they thought it was just an old horse plow

[00:52:29] [SPEAKER_01]: and it's not

[00:52:30] [SPEAKER_01]: it's an axe from the brats

[00:52:33] [SPEAKER_01]: it's awesome

[00:52:34] [SPEAKER_01]: but it's also very nice he just mailed it

[00:52:36] [SPEAKER_01]: he didn't need to thank you

[00:52:38] [SPEAKER_01]: he just mailed it

[00:52:41] [SPEAKER_01]: here you go

[00:52:42] [SPEAKER_01]: can you imagine going down to UPS

[00:52:44] [SPEAKER_01]: my UPS store

[00:52:48] [SPEAKER_01]: do you need insurance?

[00:52:50] [SPEAKER_01]: 12 million dollars

[00:52:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I need 12 million dollars with their insurance

[00:52:53] [SPEAKER_01]: is this going to take a long time

[00:52:54] [SPEAKER_01]: because there's a line behind me

[00:52:56] [SPEAKER_01]: and the old man behind me so close to me

[00:52:58] [SPEAKER_01]: he's breathing down my neck

[00:52:58] [SPEAKER_01]: how long Emily

[00:53:00] [SPEAKER_01]: as the girl who works at the UPS one by my house

[00:53:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Emily can we do this quickly

[00:53:05] [SPEAKER_01]: please

[00:53:07] [SPEAKER_01]: don't put my return address

[00:53:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want them to know

[00:53:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to be in the news

[00:53:11] [SPEAKER_01]: just want to do the right thing and get the fuck out of here

[00:53:14] [SPEAKER_01]: thank you

[00:53:16] [SPEAKER_01]: let's move it on to news

[00:53:20] [SPEAKER_01]: this is too bad

[00:53:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Denny's

[00:53:24] [SPEAKER_01]: is closing 15 restaurants

[00:53:25] [SPEAKER_01]: but the CEO boasts ways to bring customers back

[00:53:27] [SPEAKER_01]: so many of us

[00:53:29] [SPEAKER_01]: have so many funny memories at Denny's

[00:53:31] [SPEAKER_01]: but I haven't been a one in

[00:53:34] [SPEAKER_01]: probably 10 years

[00:53:36] [SPEAKER_01]: well I don't even see him that much

[00:53:39] [SPEAKER_01]: on the road anymore

[00:53:39] [SPEAKER_01]: and then I think what happened

[00:53:41] [SPEAKER_01]: why did we all quit going

[00:53:43] [SPEAKER_01]: diners happen throwback diners

[00:53:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know

[00:53:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying

[00:53:50] [SPEAKER_01]: if you just want regular breakfast

[00:53:52] [SPEAKER_01]: waffle house that's faster

[00:53:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Denny's though

[00:53:56] [SPEAKER_01]: is there no alcohol at Denny's

[00:53:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember

[00:54:00] [SPEAKER_01]: waffle house there's definitely not

[00:54:02] [SPEAKER_01]: because sometimes if I've

[00:54:04] [SPEAKER_01]: been up since three in the morning and then get back

[00:54:05] [SPEAKER_01]: especially if I get back to LA and they time changes

[00:54:08] [SPEAKER_01]: and you just want to beer with your eggs

[00:54:09] [SPEAKER_01]: and the answer was no

[00:54:11] [SPEAKER_01]: 15 more could be on the way

[00:54:13] [SPEAKER_01]: they're going to shut 57 locations

[00:54:15] [SPEAKER_01]: in several states

[00:54:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Ohio they're closing some

[00:54:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Pennsylvania has been on the receiving end

[00:54:24] [SPEAKER_01]: of the shutdowns

[00:54:26] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah

[00:54:28] [SPEAKER_01]: foodies have been hit hard by the

[00:54:30] [SPEAKER_01]: and it was always a good price

[00:54:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I remember mostly going there after drinking

[00:54:36] [SPEAKER_01]: college, comedy, comedians

[00:54:38] [SPEAKER_01]: we'd go

[00:54:39] [SPEAKER_01]: their food was I thought it was fine

[00:54:42] [SPEAKER_01]: 25 have been closed in the first quarter

[00:54:44] [SPEAKER_01]: this year alone

[00:54:47] [SPEAKER_01]: they're going to have an idea

[00:54:48] [SPEAKER_01]: to attract customers

[00:54:49] [SPEAKER_01]: here's the idea

[00:54:50] [SPEAKER_01]: we're going to relaunch it's 2 to 4

[00:54:53] [SPEAKER_01]: menu and it's 6 to 8 value menu

[00:54:55] [SPEAKER_01]: this summer

[00:54:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Taco Bell

[00:54:59] [SPEAKER_01]: well because I want breakfast

[00:55:02] [SPEAKER_01]: real breakfast

[00:55:03] [SPEAKER_01]: toast

[00:55:05] [SPEAKER_01]: real breakfast that sucks

[00:55:08] [SPEAKER_01]: there's another one too

[00:55:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to get nuts since we're on restaurant

[00:55:11] [SPEAKER_01]: here we go

[00:55:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know here's the thing

[00:55:17] [SPEAKER_01]: in St. Louis

[00:55:19] [SPEAKER_01]: we have really good Italian restaurants

[00:55:21] [SPEAKER_01]: and they're real Italians

[00:55:22] [SPEAKER_01]: and their families have done them forever

[00:55:25] [SPEAKER_01]: there's a restaurant in St. Louis called

[00:55:27] [SPEAKER_01]: the neighborhood called the hill

[00:55:29] [SPEAKER_01]: and all the good ones are up there

[00:55:31] [SPEAKER_01]: but even up in North St. Louis

[00:55:33] [SPEAKER_01]: where I grew up we had

[00:55:34] [SPEAKER_01]: we had our spots

[00:55:36] [SPEAKER_01]: so I didn't understand why people would do this

[00:55:39] [SPEAKER_01]: but I guess in other cities

[00:55:40] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe Omaha or something you don't have this Italian stronghold

[00:55:44] [SPEAKER_01]: of

[00:55:45] [SPEAKER_01]: people generations but

[00:55:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Bucco de Beppe

[00:55:48] [SPEAKER_03]: stop it

[00:55:50] [SPEAKER_01]: they just filed for bankruptcy

[00:55:52] [SPEAKER_01]: 13 underperforming locations in the United States

[00:55:56] [SPEAKER_01]: only 13

[00:55:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I've only been to it like once

[00:55:59] [SPEAKER_01]: the spaghetti and meatballs was fine

[00:56:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I just ordered the basic

[00:56:02] [SPEAKER_01]: it was good

[00:56:05] [SPEAKER_00]: the cater work stuff a lot

[00:56:07] [SPEAKER_01]: work people big groups

[00:56:09] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah cause like the wine

[00:56:11] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah

[00:56:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even require

[00:56:14] [SPEAKER_01]: expensive wine but like it's just

[00:56:16] [SPEAKER_03]: the ones that have like a cask

[00:56:17] [SPEAKER_01]: it's thick yeah it gives you a hangover

[00:56:20] [SPEAKER_01]: they always much as

[00:56:21] [SPEAKER_01]: $50 million but their assets

[00:56:24] [SPEAKER_01]: are only $50,000

[00:56:26] [SPEAKER_03]: oh my god

[00:56:26] [SPEAKER_01]: family style dishes vintage decor

[00:56:29] [SPEAKER_01]: permanently closed restaurants in California and Florida

[00:56:31] [SPEAKER_01]: it also shut its last remaining locations

[00:56:34] [SPEAKER_01]: in Michigan and Pennsylvania

[00:56:36] terrible

[00:56:36] [SPEAKER_01]: said times did you like it

[00:56:39] [SPEAKER_01]: termites did you like Bucco de Beppe

[00:56:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember I just remember

[00:56:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Sylvester Salon really likes it

[00:56:45] [SPEAKER_01]: and so does modern family actress

[00:56:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Sofia Verga

[00:56:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Verga

[00:56:51] [SPEAKER_01]: no it's not Verga

[00:56:55] [SPEAKER_01]: drop in sales

[00:56:57] [SPEAKER_01]: and the same time the cost for food and labor

[00:56:59] [SPEAKER_01]: sword

[00:56:59] [SPEAKER_01]: pasta is not expensive

[00:57:03] [SPEAKER_01]: they're gonna look to drastically cut costs by renegotiating some of its rents

[00:57:07] [SPEAKER_01]: this is the problem

[00:57:08] [SPEAKER_01]: it's the rent

[00:57:09] [SPEAKER_01]: let's not blame it on Angel hairpasta

[00:57:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I can make that for $4

[00:57:15] no

[00:57:17] [SPEAKER_01]: sad times

[00:57:18] [SPEAKER_01]: if that's your thing

[00:57:21] [SPEAKER_01]: they also closed restaurants

[00:57:22] [SPEAKER_01]: in Michigan Florida

[00:57:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Sacramento

[00:57:30] [SPEAKER_01]: they were on

[00:57:31] [SPEAKER_01]: the workers weren't aware until

[00:57:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Monday morning which by the way speaking of this

[00:57:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I got

[00:57:36] [SPEAKER_01]: had a little go back and forth there's a twitter site

[00:57:39] [SPEAKER_01]: that I love they're called vital Vegas

[00:57:41] [SPEAKER_01]: follow them if you love Vegas stuff

[00:57:43] [SPEAKER_01]: they're good but they put out

[00:57:45] [SPEAKER_01]: why should so Donald Trump

[00:57:47] [SPEAKER_01]: apparently said and then

[00:57:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Kamala also said

[00:57:50] [SPEAKER_01]: they're gonna take away the tip the taxes

[00:57:52] [SPEAKER_01]: on servers tips

[00:57:54] [SPEAKER_01]: right but the Vegas people were saying why

[00:57:57] [SPEAKER_01]: why do you why would you

[00:57:59] [SPEAKER_01]: take that away when the rest of us have to pay okay fair enough question but here's why

[00:58:02] [SPEAKER_01]: this is so because I waited tables

[00:58:04] [SPEAKER_01]: forever from 13

[00:58:07] [SPEAKER_01]: to 23 when I went on the road that was my job in some sort of restaurant part but

[00:58:10] [SPEAKER_01]: many years probably eight were spending

[00:58:13] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah I was great it was great but

[00:58:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Stuart Anderson is a real man and I met him

[00:58:19] [SPEAKER_01]: it was like fucking he's like this cowboy from Wyoming

[00:58:21] [SPEAKER_01]: he went to Japan to see how they treated workers

[00:58:24] [SPEAKER_01]: because he believed that you if you had less turnover

[00:58:27] [SPEAKER_01]: in the long run you could pay him more and they'd stay

[00:58:30] [SPEAKER_01]: less turnover I mean

[00:58:32] [SPEAKER_01]: now we still made minimum wage but as a bus girl

[00:58:35] [SPEAKER_01]: there I got insurance and a paid vacation

[00:58:38] [SPEAKER_01]: yes and none of us ever quit it was now

[00:58:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I had worked in other restaurants and bars we don't get shit but the bottom line is

[00:58:43] [SPEAKER_01]: the minimum wage was two fifteen an hour

[00:58:45] [SPEAKER_01]: and then you'd make whatever you make in tips

[00:58:48] [SPEAKER_01]: well somewhere in my

[00:58:51] [SPEAKER_01]: server career the government decided

[00:58:53] [SPEAKER_01]: that we were all lying and that we were definitely

[00:58:56] [SPEAKER_01]: destroying democracy and it was us little fuckers

[00:58:59] [SPEAKER_01]: that were the problem not the hedge fund managers

[00:59:02] [SPEAKER_01]: not the people not the corporations

[00:59:04] [SPEAKER_01]: evading taxes by having their goddamn money

[00:59:07] [SPEAKER_01]: and believes or wherever it was us

[00:59:09] [SPEAKER_01]: the servers and bartenders we are the problem with America

[00:59:12] [SPEAKER_01]: so they made us report

[00:59:15] [SPEAKER_01]: fifteen percent tips on our food sales

[00:59:18] [SPEAKER_01]: oh well that's assumed

[00:59:21] [SPEAKER_01]: you're assuming I made fifty some nights I didn't

[00:59:24] [SPEAKER_01]: and some nights I made a little bit more

[00:59:26] [SPEAKER_01]: but not much more and there was we didn't have any guarantees

[00:59:29] [SPEAKER_01]: not even on parties of eight or more like nowadays there's more

[00:59:32] [SPEAKER_01]: um so for the people still stuck in that situation

[00:59:35] [SPEAKER_01]: that's just bullshit I don't even know how it ever got passed

[00:59:38] [SPEAKER_01]: begin with I'm like you're just assuming I made money

[00:59:40] [SPEAKER_01]: because I have the people tip like shit

[00:59:43] [SPEAKER_01]: so where's that

[00:59:46] [SPEAKER_01]: and before that did we lie we did lie a little bit

[00:59:49] [SPEAKER_01]: but it does it's the government gonna fall apart

[00:59:52] [SPEAKER_01]: because I said I made fifty bucks on a Friday versus

[00:59:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I made seventy I don't I did live or more twenty really

[01:00:01] [SPEAKER_01]: but anyway

[01:00:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I just thought it was

[01:00:06] [SPEAKER_01]: they need but anyway

[01:00:08] [SPEAKER_01]: so no matter who you vote for they both claim they're gonna do that

[01:00:11] [SPEAKER_01]: which would be wonderful for servers and bartenders

[01:00:14] [SPEAKER_01]: anybody tipped and where you have a receipt of how much you sold

[01:00:18] [SPEAKER_01]: so if you sold as a bartender I sold all this alcohol

[01:00:20] [SPEAKER_01]: do you think Julie after eighteen fuzzy navels remember to tip me

[01:00:25] [SPEAKER_01]: no she didn't she didn't even walk out got carried out by her drunk boyfriend

[01:00:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus

[01:00:31] [SPEAKER_01]: moving on

[01:00:34] [SPEAKER_01]: remember fuzzy navels I know

[01:00:36] [SPEAKER_01]: and then they'd want a peach schnapps shot with it

[01:00:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like there's already peach schnapps in it

[01:00:42] [SPEAKER_01]: what are you turning it you should just go to an orchard if you love peaches as much

[01:00:46] [SPEAKER_01]: this is peach and the peach vodka are the peach schnapps

[01:00:51] [SPEAKER_01]: sticky like it was over everything by the end of the night

[01:00:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I was so glad when that phase went away I'm like

[01:00:57] [SPEAKER_01]: we're out of funny fuzzy navels I would just tell people we're out

[01:01:00] [SPEAKER_01]: and then if they asked for frozen drinks I'd say the machine was broken

[01:01:05] [SPEAKER_01]: because it was such a pain in the ass

[01:01:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like anyway

[01:01:11] [SPEAKER_01]: alright so our little our tribe not so little big tribe

[01:01:15] [SPEAKER_01]: in Peru's Amazon jungle

[01:01:18] [SPEAKER_01]: no that that tribe not my tribe not the Irish

[01:01:21] [SPEAKER_01]: it's the the Amazonians

[01:01:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Peruvians well they're coming out and they're attacking the loggers with spears and arrows

[01:01:29] [SPEAKER_01]: now we've discussed these people and I'm with them

[01:01:33] [SPEAKER_01]: bullshit it's theirs it is it is theirs I'm all

[01:01:37] [SPEAKER_01]: rooting for them they're using bows and arrows to attack loggers suspective of encroaching

[01:01:41] [SPEAKER_01]: onto their territory in the Amazon according to regional and digital organizations

[01:01:48] [SPEAKER_01]: fenamod representing 39 indigenous communities

[01:01:51] [SPEAKER_01]: in the region said Monday that it believes illegal logging was taking place

[01:01:56] [SPEAKER_01]: we talked about all this and where it was well they're coming out

[01:02:00] [SPEAKER_01]: yep yep how much are you making as a logger are you willing to take an arrow to your left eye

[01:02:10] [SPEAKER_01]: two loggers were shot with arrows while

[01:02:13] [SPEAKER_01]: fishing in 2020 one fatally

[01:02:15] [SPEAKER_01]: they're good shots too just know that

[01:02:19] [SPEAKER_01]: yep no so it's truly a matter of life and death only the government has a duty

[01:02:24] [SPEAKER_01]: and the government has a duty to stop it yes they do

[01:02:26] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe if you shoot enough of them

[01:02:29] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe

[01:02:33] [SPEAKER_01]: or my other idea

[01:02:34] [SPEAKER_01]: say you're gonna burn down and don't don't joke just do it

[01:02:39] [SPEAKER_01]: here's some good news if you're a cokehead

[01:02:44] [SPEAKER_01]: the great news is I don't know what cokeheads anymore

[01:02:47] [SPEAKER_01]: there was a lot of people back in the day at my restaurant to take coke and I saw all the bad effects of it

[01:02:53] [SPEAKER_01]: and I am so glad like everybody working there was 10 years older than me and I watched them all do coke

[01:02:58] [SPEAKER_01]: and it just it's a shit show it's not a good thing

[01:03:01] [SPEAKER_01]: but it's children out there because I've heard it's making a comeback

[01:03:04] [SPEAKER_01]: coke is yeah so there are people in Miami that are my age that are still doing it

[01:03:09] [SPEAKER_01]: you're your hip again see you waited it out you probably don't have a nose left

[01:03:13] [SPEAKER_01]: but whatever whatever well if you're a cokehead you like the coke

[01:03:17] [SPEAKER_01]: you like the coke

[01:03:18] [SPEAKER_01]: a million dollars worth of it has been blown up has blown up on Florida beaches because of hurricane Debbie

[01:03:25] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah and it's not wet

[01:03:28] [SPEAKER_01]: it's wrapped so well in the plastic

[01:03:30] [SPEAKER_01]: it's gone it's flipped over boats and all this crap it's fallen off boats and I mean

[01:03:35] [SPEAKER_01]: and then I think you know I lived in her most beach as a young comic for 10 years

[01:03:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I walk the beach every day

[01:03:42] [SPEAKER_01]: all I ever found

[01:03:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I never found a megalodon tooth

[01:03:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I never found

[01:03:48] [SPEAKER_01]: no you know what I found tiny he-men

[01:03:50] [SPEAKER_01]: little plastic boys toys

[01:03:52] [SPEAKER_01]: and I'm like why am I finding children's mostly boys toys

[01:03:57] [SPEAKER_01]: and I knew because my brother had had all my youngest brother had had all these

[01:04:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like oh look I've got I knew the characters and I'm like

[01:04:04] [SPEAKER_01]: well because in they have storm drains little kids especially boys seem to like to flush their people down the toilet

[01:04:11] [SPEAKER_01]: their toys to see what happens

[01:04:13] [SPEAKER_01]: well then it goes out to a storm drain that goes three miles out

[01:04:16] [SPEAKER_01]: and then it comes back in and a storm

[01:04:18] [SPEAKER_01]: so guess what else is coming back the shit in the storm drain

[01:04:21] [SPEAKER_01]: there would be softballs and he-men

[01:04:23] [SPEAKER_01]: that's mainly what I found

[01:04:24] [SPEAKER_01]: but now if you're walking on the beach in Florida you might find yourself a bunch of cocaine

[01:04:31] [SPEAKER_01]: oh my god

[01:04:32] [SPEAKER_01]: more than 70 pound packages of cocaine washed ashore as the winds topped 80 miles an hour

[01:04:39] [SPEAKER_01]: it blew 25 packs of cocaine

[01:04:41] [SPEAKER_01]: 70 pounds onto the Florida keys

[01:04:45] [SPEAKER_01]: what are you doing yelling at people

[01:04:48] [SPEAKER_01]: baby cat has entered here you want to come up say hi

[01:04:51] [SPEAKER_01]: say hi to the people

[01:04:52] [SPEAKER_01]: you're interrupting look you love cocaine

[01:04:54] [SPEAKER_01]: you love your cocaine banana don't you

[01:04:58] [SPEAKER_01]: you want come up

[01:05:00] [SPEAKER_00]: she's eating your chips

[01:05:02] [SPEAKER_01]: get away from my potato chips

[01:05:04] [SPEAKER_01]: back off Jack

[01:05:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what you're so sad about

[01:05:08] [SPEAKER_01]: anyway

[01:05:10] [SPEAKER_01]: just bricks of cocaine

[01:05:12] [SPEAKER_01]: if you're in the Florida keys get down there

[01:05:14] [SPEAKER_01]: find yourself a brick of cocaine

[01:05:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I would sell it I wouldn't recommend doing it

[01:05:19] [SPEAKER_01]: somebody wants it

[01:05:21] [SPEAKER_01]: uh

[01:05:21] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah

[01:05:23] [SPEAKER_01]: in June a beach scour

[01:05:25] [SPEAKER_01]: a beach scour scouring a north Florida beach

[01:05:27] [SPEAKER_01]: for sea turtle nest

[01:05:28] [SPEAKER_01]: stumbled upon four million dollars with the cocaine bricks

[01:05:31] [SPEAKER_00]: four million

[01:05:33] [SPEAKER_01]: don't need a metal detector for this

[01:05:35] [SPEAKER_01]: people get on down there

[01:05:37] [SPEAKER_01]: coca coca coca

[01:05:40] coca

[01:05:42] [SPEAKER_01]: nobody thinks about that

[01:05:43] [SPEAKER_01]: here's some not so shocking news

[01:05:46] [SPEAKER_01]: entertainment wise

[01:05:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't organize this very well this week sorry about that termite

[01:05:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I had plenty of time

[01:05:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I just you know I don't thought it made sense at that time

[01:05:54] [SPEAKER_01]: who loves Lauryn Hill

[01:05:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I do who's ever been to see Lauryn Hill

[01:05:58] [SPEAKER_01]: not me because

[01:05:59] [SPEAKER_01]: she cancels a lot or sometimes they start like

[01:06:02] [SPEAKER_01]: eight hours late and

[01:06:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I just mom at termite ain't got it

[01:06:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I need that show to start on goddamn time

[01:06:08] [SPEAKER_01]: and I need to know I'll be home

[01:06:10] [SPEAKER_01]: by 1115 yeah

[01:06:11] [SPEAKER_01]: well her world tour was

[01:06:13] [SPEAKER_01]: canceled due to low ticket sales which

[01:06:16] [SPEAKER_01]: she attributes to the media sensationalizing

[01:06:18] [SPEAKER_01]: of her canceled shows last year

[01:06:22] [SPEAKER_01]: is it

[01:06:22] [SPEAKER_01]: sensationalizing it if it happened

[01:06:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean if you're just reporting

[01:06:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I doubt they've ever said she didn't show up when she did

[01:06:29] [SPEAKER_01]: so when I say

[01:06:30] [SPEAKER_01]: it didn't show up I mean that is the

[01:06:33] [SPEAKER_01]: you know others have done it

[01:06:35] [SPEAKER_01]: George Jones

[01:06:36] [SPEAKER_01]: no show Jones

[01:06:39] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah

[01:06:40] [SPEAKER_01]: she's mad about that she's still going on a European tour

[01:06:43] [SPEAKER_01]: so if you're all Lauryn Hill fan

[01:06:45] [SPEAKER_01]: get on down

[01:06:47] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah she

[01:06:48] [SPEAKER_01]: she doesn't sound very stable a lot

[01:06:51] [SPEAKER_01]: there's a lot of reports about

[01:06:52] [SPEAKER_01]: taxes and all kinds of things

[01:06:54] [SPEAKER_01]: when you're like I don't know what's going on with that lady

[01:06:56] [SPEAKER_01]: but that's sad news if you had

[01:06:58] [SPEAKER_01]: tickets to that whoop

[01:07:00] [SPEAKER_01]: news King Elon

[01:07:03] [SPEAKER_01]: well

[01:07:04] [SPEAKER_01]: he's gonna shut the San Francisco offices

[01:07:06] [SPEAKER_01]: and move to Texas

[01:07:09] [SPEAKER_01]: oh hey baby cat

[01:07:11] she's really mad at you

[01:07:16] [SPEAKER_01]: she's mad because I was gone

[01:07:18] [SPEAKER_01]: this goes on for a day

[01:07:20] [SPEAKER_01]: until I put my suitcase away

[01:07:23] [SPEAKER_01]: she hates it

[01:07:24] [SPEAKER_01]: she was in it before I left

[01:07:26] [SPEAKER_01]: and I'm like you're not going you're not going to Canada

[01:07:28] [SPEAKER_01]: you don't have a passport

[01:07:30] [SPEAKER_01]: you don't have a driver's license you have nothing baby cat

[01:07:32] [SPEAKER_01]: nothing

[01:07:33] [SPEAKER_01]: no you don't even have a purse

[01:07:37] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah

[01:07:38] [SPEAKER_01]: she's gonna rip apart my day of the dead like anyway moving on

[01:07:41] [SPEAKER_01]: um it's

[01:07:42] [SPEAKER_01]: the office closure is gonna occur over the

[01:07:44] [SPEAKER_01]: next few weeks for those based

[01:07:46] [SPEAKER_01]: in San Francisco I know this will impact you all in ways

[01:07:48] [SPEAKER_01]: differently

[01:07:49] [SPEAKER_01]: leadership is actively working on plans including

[01:07:51] [SPEAKER_01]: transportation options for those of you

[01:07:54] [SPEAKER_01]: directly affected

[01:07:56] [SPEAKER_01]: um

[01:07:57] [SPEAKER_01]: he's gonna transfer operations

[01:08:00] [SPEAKER_01]: to new primary locations for his bay employees

[01:08:02] [SPEAKER_01]: including an existing office

[01:08:04] [SPEAKER_01]: in San Jose so he's getting out

[01:08:06] [SPEAKER_01]: but he's also moving a bunch of it to Texas

[01:08:08] [SPEAKER_01]: because he feels there's laws there suit

[01:08:10] [SPEAKER_01]: but

[01:08:11] [SPEAKER_01]: they're not as I guess invasive

[01:08:13] [SPEAKER_01]: for whatever he is he's doing

[01:08:15] [SPEAKER_01]: which is you know seeming to

[01:08:18] [SPEAKER_01]: actively destroying

[01:08:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Twitter I mean I don't even know why

[01:08:21] [SPEAKER_01]: you bought it if you hate it so much

[01:08:23] [SPEAKER_01]: what was the point maybe he wanted

[01:08:25] [SPEAKER_01]: last month he announced he would relocate

[01:08:27] [SPEAKER_01]: the headquarters for X and SpaceX to Texas

[01:08:30] [SPEAKER_01]: calling Newsom's decision

[01:08:31] [SPEAKER_01]: some tax decision I believe

[01:08:33] [SPEAKER_01]: the final straw

[01:08:35] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah so you know I don't know

[01:08:37] [SPEAKER_01]: if you work for Twitter up there to rights

[01:08:39] [SPEAKER_01]: might want to look into all this

[01:08:42] X

[01:08:42] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah he's clashed with local

[01:08:45] [SPEAKER_01]: authorities

[01:08:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know now you should probably

[01:08:49] [SPEAKER_01]: stay in Alvin's Alvin's

[01:08:50] [SPEAKER_01]: downtown San Francisco because now

[01:08:52] [SPEAKER_01]: they're dying for you know

[01:08:54] [SPEAKER_01]: commercial real estate's drop yeah maybe

[01:08:56] [SPEAKER_01]: they'll give you a rent rate did you

[01:08:59] [SPEAKER_01]: go in and try to negotiate that

[01:09:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's part of a statement

[01:09:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I do too and it's the whole Texas

[01:09:04] [SPEAKER_01]: thing everybody thinks they're cool

[01:09:06] [SPEAKER_01]: they're gonna move to Texas

[01:09:08] [SPEAKER_01]: the only person that's in Texas

[01:09:11] [SPEAKER_01]: that belongs in Texas from the

[01:09:12] [SPEAKER_01]: well Tanya and my friend

[01:09:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Ron white because he's

[01:09:16] [SPEAKER_01]: from Fridge Texas and then

[01:09:18] [SPEAKER_01]: after he got kicked out of the Navy

[01:09:21] [SPEAKER_01]: he grew up a lot in Houston

[01:09:23] [SPEAKER_01]: and then him and his friends

[01:09:24] [SPEAKER_01]: when Austin was super hippie

[01:09:26] [SPEAKER_01]: liberal fun they all

[01:09:28] [SPEAKER_01]: moved to Austin so

[01:09:30] [SPEAKER_01]: he moved back there as

[01:09:31] [SPEAKER_01]: an older man but

[01:09:34] [SPEAKER_01]: that's his home I mean

[01:09:36] [SPEAKER_01]: it's all this new

[01:09:38] [SPEAKER_01]: people have no idea what

[01:09:40] [SPEAKER_01]: they're doing air B&B let's talk

[01:09:42] [SPEAKER_01]: about it yeah

[01:09:44] [SPEAKER_01]: it's stock has nosedived

[01:09:45] [SPEAKER_01]: staggering 14%

[01:09:47] [SPEAKER_01]: in after our trading on Tuesday following a

[01:09:50] [SPEAKER_01]: disappointing second quarter earnings

[01:09:51] [SPEAKER_01]: well here's the thing air B&B

[01:09:53] [SPEAKER_01]: this is my we've gone over it before

[01:09:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll say it one last time you can

[01:09:57] [SPEAKER_01]: either charge me a cleaning fee

[01:09:59] [SPEAKER_01]: or make me clean the house but I'm not

[01:10:01] [SPEAKER_01]: fucking doing both exactly there is

[01:10:03] [SPEAKER_01]: the ones in the Ozarks these

[01:10:05] [SPEAKER_01]: condo it's like a Bible

[01:10:07] [SPEAKER_01]: you open it up here's the things I need to do

[01:10:09] [SPEAKER_01]: before I leave looks like my mom wrote

[01:10:11] [SPEAKER_01]: it be sure to make sure that you

[01:10:13] [SPEAKER_01]: push it put the toothbrush

[01:10:15] [SPEAKER_01]: back into the top no

[01:10:18] [SPEAKER_01]: um maybe people are

[01:10:19] [SPEAKER_01]: getting sick of it yeah

[01:10:21] [SPEAKER_01]: the retail giant is showing signs

[01:10:23] [SPEAKER_01]: of trouble as it sees signs

[01:10:26] [SPEAKER_01]: following of slowing demand

[01:10:27] [SPEAKER_01]: from us customers and then sometimes I will

[01:10:29] [SPEAKER_01]: say I've done it and it worked out I did

[01:10:31] [SPEAKER_01]: it in Gatlinburg for a cabin

[01:10:33] [SPEAKER_01]: was great and

[01:10:35] [SPEAKER_01]: there weren't even really

[01:10:36] [SPEAKER_01]: those people didn't make me do stuff

[01:10:39] [SPEAKER_01]: well they might have made me you know

[01:10:41] [SPEAKER_01]: take out trash that's fine

[01:10:42] [SPEAKER_01]: but when it starts to get into strip the

[01:10:45] [SPEAKER_01]: beds, beds I didn't even sleep in

[01:10:48] [SPEAKER_01]: nope

[01:10:48] [SPEAKER_01]: they failed to meet expectations with

[01:10:51] [SPEAKER_01]: earnings of just 86 cents per share

[01:10:53] [SPEAKER_01]: versus the 92 that was expected

[01:10:56] [SPEAKER_01]: while revenue did

[01:10:57] [SPEAKER_01]: climb its net income plummeted

[01:11:00] [SPEAKER_01]: to 555 million

[01:11:02] [SPEAKER_01]: a whopping 15%

[01:11:03] [SPEAKER_01]: from the 650 million

[01:11:06] [SPEAKER_01]: reported last year in the same quarter

[01:11:07] [SPEAKER_01]: wow

[01:11:09] [SPEAKER_01]: here we go it's showing signs of us

[01:11:12] [SPEAKER_01]: customers hinting at a potential shift

[01:11:13] [SPEAKER_01]: and travel towards the more classic form of travel

[01:11:15] [SPEAKER_01]: hotels that are licensed

[01:11:18] [SPEAKER_01]: that are legal that don't have cameras

[01:11:20] [SPEAKER_01]: that aren't making you do my mom's chores

[01:11:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus make sure

[01:11:24] [SPEAKER_01]: all the shoes are facing the other wall

[01:11:26] [SPEAKER_01]: or the dog will think that it can go

[01:11:28] [SPEAKER_01]: to the bathroom and the shoes

[01:11:29] [SPEAKER_01]: what

[01:11:32] [SPEAKER_01]: but I also understand

[01:11:34] [SPEAKER_01]: you know my sister

[01:11:36] [SPEAKER_01]: has twins that are

[01:11:38] [SPEAKER_01]: 15 and a boy is 13

[01:11:40] [SPEAKER_01]: so there's five of them and you know that's two hotel rooms

[01:11:42] [SPEAKER_01]: and

[01:11:43] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe it's 1416

[01:11:46] [SPEAKER_01]: whatever their birthday is not yet

[01:11:47] [SPEAKER_01]: they're still 15

[01:11:50] [SPEAKER_01]: no they just found out that if they get

[01:11:52] [SPEAKER_01]: a car they have to pay for gas

[01:11:53] [SPEAKER_01]: and the one was like really

[01:11:58] [SPEAKER_01]: my sister's like

[01:11:59] [SPEAKER_01]: who do you think is going to pay for it

[01:12:01] [SPEAKER_01]: and she goes even when we have to go

[01:12:03] [SPEAKER_01]: to like things we have to go to

[01:12:05] [SPEAKER_01]: like school

[01:12:07] [SPEAKER_01]: or like golf

[01:12:09] [SPEAKER_01]: and my sister's like yeah

[01:12:10] [SPEAKER_01]: you're paying for the gas you're going to get a god damn job

[01:12:13] [SPEAKER_01]: they did not like the

[01:12:14] [SPEAKER_01]: incoming information at all

[01:12:16] [SPEAKER_01]: no

[01:12:19] [SPEAKER_01]: okay hold on

[01:12:20] [SPEAKER_01]: oh that's a good one I'm going to save that one for next week

[01:12:25] [SPEAKER_01]: this is terrifying

[01:12:26] [SPEAKER_01]: this is

[01:12:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I was like what I say these things

[01:12:30] [SPEAKER_01]: this is why I wouldn't do that well there's a

[01:12:32] [SPEAKER_01]: billion reasons I wouldn't do first of all

[01:12:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not qualified for usually anything that follows

[01:12:36] [SPEAKER_01]: that sentence well I would never

[01:12:37] [SPEAKER_01]: jump off and you know okay

[01:12:39] [SPEAKER_01]: it's revealed

[01:12:42] [SPEAKER_01]: stranded NASA astronauts could be

[01:12:44] [SPEAKER_01]: vaporized

[01:12:45] [SPEAKER_01]: they can't get them they can't

[01:12:48] [SPEAKER_01]: they're stuck the ladies my age

[01:12:50] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah

[01:12:52] [SPEAKER_01]: two astronauts have been stranded in space for months

[01:12:54] [SPEAKER_01]: due to a fault

[01:12:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean the whole thing remember

[01:12:58] [SPEAKER_01]: when

[01:13:01] [SPEAKER_01]: somebody put

[01:13:02] [SPEAKER_01]: on Twitter for us Gen Xers

[01:13:04] [SPEAKER_01]: we were all told

[01:13:06] [SPEAKER_01]: in school to go in a room and watch a space launch

[01:13:08] [SPEAKER_01]: and we watched it the whole thing

[01:13:10] [SPEAKER_01]: blew up and all the people were dead

[01:13:11] [SPEAKER_01]: and then we were just told to go back to class

[01:13:13] [SPEAKER_01]: there were no psychiatrists

[01:13:15] [SPEAKER_01]: we weren't going to talk about it we're like well that sucked

[01:13:18] [SPEAKER_01]: it didn't work and we were just

[01:13:20] [SPEAKER_01]: like what the fuck did I just watch are those

[01:13:22] [SPEAKER_01]: people dead and then we couldn't even

[01:13:24] [SPEAKER_01]: watch the rest of the thing because they're like well it's over

[01:13:26] [SPEAKER_01]: jump that boom

[01:13:29] [SPEAKER_01]: they wheeled the TV back out

[01:13:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like no no no no no no no no

[01:13:32] [SPEAKER_01]: as my dad was like la la la la

[01:13:34] [SPEAKER_01]: get it back in here

[01:13:36] [SPEAKER_01]: but like all those people that beg

[01:13:38] [SPEAKER_01]: to go on that and I'm like that

[01:13:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I would beg never to go I don't want

[01:13:42] [SPEAKER_01]: to be in some capsule and then if you ever watch

[01:13:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Star Trek the next generation it's the only one

[01:13:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I watched because it will be Goldberg and because

[01:13:48] [SPEAKER_01]: John Luke Picard Patrick whatever

[01:13:50] [SPEAKER_01]: his name is

[01:13:53] [SPEAKER_01]: once you go out

[01:13:54] [SPEAKER_01]: there what if you can't get

[01:13:56] [SPEAKER_01]: back you know you're going to die there

[01:13:58] [SPEAKER_01]: and then every single day you just

[01:14:00] [SPEAKER_01]: know you're you're going to die there

[01:14:02] [SPEAKER_01]: probably soon you're not and

[01:14:04] [SPEAKER_01]: or do I want to live 50

[01:14:06] [SPEAKER_01]: years with the new Russian astronaut

[01:14:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Yuri no

[01:14:10] [SPEAKER_01]: no it would be

[01:14:12] [SPEAKER_01]: terrifying

[01:14:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore

[01:14:16] [SPEAKER_01]: were only supposed to be on the International Space Station for 8 days when they launched

[01:14:20] [SPEAKER_01]: on Boeing

[01:14:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Boeing is really having some

[01:14:23] [SPEAKER_01]: you can't the doors won't stay in your planes

[01:14:25] [SPEAKER_01]: your spaceships are all fucked up

[01:14:28] [SPEAKER_01]: on June 5th

[01:14:30] [SPEAKER_01]: but a fault with the capsule thrusters

[01:14:32] [SPEAKER_01]: critical to propel the crap through space

[01:14:34] [SPEAKER_01]: means they've been stuck out there for over two months

[01:14:36] [SPEAKER_01]: and NASA says they might not return

[01:14:38] [SPEAKER_01]: until February of next year

[01:14:40] [SPEAKER_01]: and if they don't go get them

[01:14:42] [SPEAKER_01]: they will vaporize

[01:14:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know how what is that

[01:14:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know

[01:14:50] [SPEAKER_01]: the space agency is now deciding whether to persist

[01:14:52] [SPEAKER_01]: with the faulty starliner

[01:14:54] [SPEAKER_01]: or launch a rescue mission

[01:14:55] [SPEAKER_01]: using space X's rival ship

[01:14:57] [SPEAKER_01]: which would be a huge embarrassment for

[01:14:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Boeing

[01:15:00] [SPEAKER_01]: well you know what Boeing

[01:15:01] [SPEAKER_01]: you're not going to have a good Christmas party this year anyway

[01:15:03] [SPEAKER_01]: just suck it up and go save the people

[01:15:05] [SPEAKER_01]: with Elon's ship if that works

[01:15:09] [SPEAKER_01]: here's the three

[01:15:10] [SPEAKER_01]: frightening scenarios that could play out

[01:15:12] [SPEAKER_01]: if they chose to go with the former

[01:15:15] [SPEAKER_01]: meaning

[01:15:16] [SPEAKER_01]: including the worst case scenario

[01:15:18] [SPEAKER_01]: that could see the crew burning up inside

[01:15:20] [SPEAKER_01]: the capsule upon re-entry

[01:15:23] [SPEAKER_02]: oh my god

[01:15:24] [SPEAKER_01]: their problems are located in the service module

[01:15:28] [SPEAKER_01]: which is like the control center

[01:15:30] [SPEAKER_01]: for the entire ship containing systems that control

[01:15:32] [SPEAKER_01]: the thrusters power as well as water

[01:15:33] [SPEAKER_01]: and oxygen

[01:15:36] [SPEAKER_01]: then it goes on to all the things

[01:15:38] [SPEAKER_01]: how hard it's going to be to get them back

[01:15:44] [SPEAKER_01]: she's 58

[01:15:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I read that somewhere

[01:15:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how old the dude is

[01:15:49] [SPEAKER_01]: it's just the two of them

[01:15:52] [SPEAKER_01]: NASA awarded Boeing a $4.2 billion

[01:15:55] [SPEAKER_01]: contract to build starliner as a taxi

[01:15:57] [SPEAKER_01]: for the astronauts

[01:15:58] [SPEAKER_01]: sue him but get in line

[01:16:05] [SPEAKER_01]: it's terrible

[01:16:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll keep you updated Charmites on what's going to happen there

[01:16:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Charles Barkley says he's not going to retire

[01:16:13] [SPEAKER_01]: that makes me very happy

[01:16:15] [SPEAKER_01]: and also he gets

[01:16:16] [SPEAKER_01]: so inside the NBA I don't really watch it

[01:16:19] [SPEAKER_01]: because I don't really care about the NBA

[01:16:20] [SPEAKER_01]: because I never had a team growing up

[01:16:21] [SPEAKER_01]: so I'm not really invested

[01:16:23] [SPEAKER_01]: but I love Charles Barkley on anything

[01:16:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll even watch it and occasionally when I watch it

[01:16:28] [SPEAKER_01]: it's just because he's on it

[01:16:28] [SPEAKER_01]: that show is ending

[01:16:30] [SPEAKER_01]: he gave all of the TNT employees that work on it

[01:16:33] [SPEAKER_01]: $5,000 a piece

[01:16:36] [SPEAKER_01]: right I know

[01:16:38] [SPEAKER_01]: they all got the money

[01:16:40] [SPEAKER_01]: so he's going to stay with TNT

[01:16:42] [SPEAKER_01]: and finish his contract instead of retiring

[01:16:43] [SPEAKER_01]: that makes me very happy I don't know what he's going to do

[01:16:45] [SPEAKER_01]: why not just create another show

[01:16:48] [SPEAKER_01]: why does it have to be inside the NBA

[01:16:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't get it

[01:16:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know

[01:16:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll look that up though Charmites

[01:16:57] [SPEAKER_01]: here's a good story

[01:16:59] [SPEAKER_01]: and I know people will go

[01:17:00] [SPEAKER_01]: you shouldn't just do free handouts

[01:17:03] [SPEAKER_01]: well

[01:17:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's nice oh no I lost my feel good story

[01:17:07] [SPEAKER_00]: you lost it

[01:17:08] [SPEAKER_01]: well I'll save it for next week it's about a penguin

[01:17:11] [SPEAKER_01]: this is going to be

[01:17:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I know

[01:17:13] [SPEAKER_01]: well here's something to go look at I want you guys to go see this

[01:17:16] [SPEAKER_01]: if you are into wildlife

[01:17:18] [SPEAKER_01]: this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen

[01:17:20] [SPEAKER_01]: like it was on tiktok it was on everything

[01:17:22] [SPEAKER_01]: but in case you missed it

[01:17:25] [SPEAKER_01]: an unbothered Canada links

[01:17:26] [SPEAKER_01]: poses perfectly in front of a camera trap

[01:17:29] [SPEAKER_01]: he's white

[01:17:30] [SPEAKER_01]: and he looks like something out of Game of Thrones

[01:17:32] [SPEAKER_01]: it looks like a Maine Coon cat

[01:17:34] [SPEAKER_01]: on crack he's gorgeous

[01:17:37] [SPEAKER_01]: but

[01:17:38] [SPEAKER_01]: this one was in Minnesota

[01:17:40] [SPEAKER_01]: a sassy links has been recorded

[01:17:42] [SPEAKER_01]: on a camera trap and boy does it look good

[01:17:44] [SPEAKER_01]: he looks so healthy and like he's ready

[01:17:46] [SPEAKER_01]: but he stares at the camera like he knows

[01:17:48] [SPEAKER_01]: there's something going on

[01:17:51] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah

[01:17:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll put it in the schnoz you gotta go see this video

[01:17:54] [SPEAKER_01]: if you're into it and if not

[01:17:57] [SPEAKER_01]: skip it

[01:17:59] [SPEAKER_01]: here's my little feel good story

[01:18:00] [SPEAKER_01]: and next week I'll do the penguin

[01:18:04] [SPEAKER_01]: people don't know this but

[01:18:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Brad Paisley and his wife Kimberly

[01:18:09] [SPEAKER_01]: they have opened

[01:18:10] [SPEAKER_01]: free food stores in Nashville

[01:18:12] [SPEAKER_01]: and they're very nice

[01:18:13] [SPEAKER_01]: it looks like an Aldi or something

[01:18:16] [SPEAKER_01]: and they said

[01:18:18] [SPEAKER_01]: they wanted to bring dignity back

[01:18:20] [SPEAKER_01]: to instead of

[01:18:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess you drive to some place

[01:18:23] [SPEAKER_01]: and they hand you a bag in your car

[01:18:25] [SPEAKER_01]: a box blah blah blah

[01:18:27] [SPEAKER_01]: this you can go in and it's all free

[01:18:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you have to prove anything

[01:18:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't understand that part

[01:18:33] [SPEAKER_01]: but they have also now

[01:18:35] [SPEAKER_01]: opened a free vet clinic in Nashville

[01:18:37] [SPEAKER_01]: wow

[01:18:38] [SPEAKER_01]: and the example

[01:18:41] [SPEAKER_01]: could go nationwide

[01:18:43] [SPEAKER_01]: well folks are struggling economically

[01:18:45] [SPEAKER_01]: and while they might find relief

[01:18:47] [SPEAKER_01]: from charities their pets are often

[01:18:49] [SPEAKER_01]: left out of the equation

[01:18:51] [SPEAKER_01]: in Nashville so now they're the model

[01:18:53] [SPEAKER_01]: what that could look like a new

[01:18:54] [SPEAKER_01]: visionary non-profit

[01:18:56] [SPEAKER_01]: they launched a companion project

[01:18:58] [SPEAKER_01]: recently opened a vet clinic to help

[01:19:00] [SPEAKER_01]: people take care of their pets

[01:19:01] [SPEAKER_01]: here at the store we know blah blah

[01:19:03] [SPEAKER_01]: take care of your furry members too

[01:19:07] [SPEAKER_01]: it's sponsors

[01:19:08] [SPEAKER_01]: here's the people that are helping

[01:19:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Merrick, Merck

[01:19:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Purina

[01:19:14] [SPEAKER_01]: St. Louis

[01:19:16] [SPEAKER_01]: my ant warship was in Purina for

[01:19:18] [SPEAKER_01]: 20 years

[01:19:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Betsy, BNB, Neogen

[01:19:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Farrah and Arch

[01:19:24] [SPEAKER_01]: that's awesome

[01:19:26] how cool

[01:19:27] [SPEAKER_01]: well and there's a lot of people that don't

[01:19:29] [SPEAKER_01]: have the money if the dog

[01:19:31] [SPEAKER_01]: breaks a leg or whatever I mean it could be

[01:19:33] [SPEAKER_01]: thousands right if you don't have pet insurance

[01:19:35] [SPEAKER_01]: and I don't even know anybody that did

[01:19:37] [SPEAKER_01]: except one of my friends

[01:19:39] [SPEAKER_01]: in LA a long time ago

[01:19:41] [SPEAKER_01]: her cat kept eating

[01:19:43] [SPEAKER_01]: like hair bands like your

[01:19:45] [SPEAKER_01]: hair ties

[01:19:45] [SPEAKER_01]: and baby cat loves them too I'm like fuck

[01:19:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I never thought you could eat one

[01:19:51] [SPEAKER_01]: but it did it so many times

[01:19:53] [SPEAKER_01]: there were so many surgeries to get them out that finally

[01:19:55] [SPEAKER_01]: my friend bought the insurance but that was

[01:19:57] [SPEAKER_01]: before you've even ever heard of it

[01:20:00] [SPEAKER_01]: so that's

[01:20:01] [SPEAKER_01]: it's all very expensive yeah I don't even know what

[01:20:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I paid to get all these cats taking care of

[01:20:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I was in a fight with the lady that worked there

[01:20:07] [SPEAKER_01]: well she was she was in a fight with me

[01:20:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't participating she was so mad

[01:20:11] [SPEAKER_01]: that I didn't know what I was doing and I'm like

[01:20:13] [SPEAKER_01]: lady I just found these things in the yard

[01:20:16] [SPEAKER_01]: she's just settled down

[01:20:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll get a handle on it but

[01:20:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Jesus Christ

[01:20:21] [SPEAKER_01]: and then she said

[01:20:22] [SPEAKER_01]: they're that they'd all and the vet said

[01:20:24] [SPEAKER_01]: it too they'd all be sleepy from the anesthesia

[01:20:26] [SPEAKER_01]: after their surgery stuff and

[01:20:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I let them loose in the mud room and

[01:20:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean it was chaos they were flying

[01:20:32] [SPEAKER_01]: on the ceiling

[01:20:32] [SPEAKER_01]: it was completely they clearly had an
