[00:01:15] As you say I say at least ten times a year the best day of the year.

[00:01:21] The Thursday of March Madness which starts tomorrow, March Madness starts tomorrow.

[00:01:26] We go on our trips tomorrow.

[00:01:28] I do and you go on Friday.

[00:01:30] The number one best day of the year for me.

[00:01:34] What are the other ones that you said that I've said to the best day of the year?

[00:01:37] The Easter Christmas, Black Day, Christmas Day, July 4th.

[00:01:43] Yeah, Earth Day.

[00:01:44] All of them.

[00:01:45] Anyway this one really is number one.

[00:01:48] Okay.

[00:01:49] Okay so as I just saying that song to you you know that's the Luther Vandross one shining moment.

[00:01:57] I have not missed that singing of this song which means I've watched every national championship game for at least 40 years

[00:02:04] I say because I've seen Luther sing that couple years Jennifer Hudson saying it.

[00:02:09] Yeah, one year I think Teddy Pindegraff might have been singing a long time ago.

[00:02:12] I like the Luther.

[00:02:13] Luther is the classic and that's the one we always go to.

[00:02:16] Hank so we're excited.

[00:02:22] I have not.

[00:02:23] Do you want to talk about the brackets before we jump into the other?

[00:02:26] Pulling up a bracket right now so we'll have one in front of us but I know you got one in front of you if you want to go ahead and go.

[00:02:31] Yeah so we won't spend much time on this but the number one seeds is everyone knows in the east you con in the west Carolina in the Midwest Purdue and in the south Houston out of those four seeds.

[00:02:43] Hank who is the one likely number one seed to get upset not make it to the final four.

[00:02:49] UNC and I'm a UNC really yeah I think I think it's dangerous I think Baylor is dangerous I think St Mary's is dangerous.

[00:02:56] I just find like their bracket is tough and I think they're good yeah I just think that they got a real tough word like we talked about I think you cons got a tough road to but they're really good.

[00:03:05] You know I my thing with Carolina and I love Carolina as I don't think the AC is strong enough to have got them prepared for this tournament if that makes sense sure it kind of showed it last night with Virginia showing yeah they got beat by 24 to Colorado state yeah it's gross.

[00:03:22] They scored 14 points in the first half. Yeah it's gross. Oh yes I just don't think the ACC is prepared any of these teams yeah so anyway you've got Carolina going out first number one seed I've got Houston going out number one seed first.

[00:03:34] They're not getting beaten this first yeah okay yeah so I mean let's tell me where you think Carolina is going to get beaten and we'll keep on going so Carolina plays Wagner first they get through then they would play the Mississippi state Michigan State winner who goes there they're right here.

[00:03:48] Well I think Carolina gets through that game then they would play the winner St Mary's Alabama I think that might be a tough that might be a tough one and certainly the eight because I think Butler I mean the next would be Baylor or Dayton or Arizona Nevada okay so you got them going out there I got Carolina advancing through to the final four let's go look at quickly at the east.

[00:04:11] Got Yukon moving forward to meet Iowa state in the elite eight to go to the final four that's the one and two seeds let's move up here to the south I mentioned I have Houston getting beaten I have Houston getting beat relatively early I think it's in round is before it's in the sweet 16 I've got them getting beat by Duke even the Houston I'm up here yeah so you did say that about the ACC and I agree you know it's not the toughest year for the AC but I just don't believe in Houston but actually I have

[00:04:40] coming out of this division I have NC state advancing to the final four beating Houston in a rematch of the 83 championship in the elite eight okay yep okay say I got it Duke is beating Houston but state would meet in down here okay you know okay I'll scratch that we're going

[00:05:02] Houston to the elite eight state beats Houston and you said Duke was going to beat him in the sixth that's right scratch that I think it'll be a close game all

[00:05:08] right let's go to Midwest Hank Purdue the number one CD or who do you have coming out I think Purdue I don't think Tennessee meets him though I don't either

[00:05:16] do you like in our our friend C.J. Hines he thinks they're too streaky I kind of I kind of like Kansas really kind of do I think that they're built for big game if it weren't I mean I also you know

[00:05:31] I think that's going to be a tough one but they're going to meet him before is um TCU okay I like TCU but they're going to meet him in the 16 that would be actually

[00:05:39] a second round yeah so I mean it's either going to be Kansas or Texas I feel like my sleep or Crating I've a Crating coming all the way out of

[00:05:45] there going to the final four so my final four you can Carolina NC state and Crating with NC state losing to Crating

[00:05:53] you can be in Carolina Crating you can't the final you can't get it done cut snits that you got I think you can't too good I think you can't

[00:06:01] going to be in that four I think um did I say was going to be down here in this one Baylor Baylor was going to be in this

[00:06:08] four um I don't think Houston is going to be there I think Kentucky is going to make a pretty decent run and certainly not

[00:06:16] I think Bill probably sees you know when state in the second series so I think Kentucky makes a pretty good run

[00:06:22] there and then um I was saying Kansas but Texas or Kansas and the other one I think that you kind ends up

[00:06:29] winning cool last but not least let's go through a couple sleepers first round sleepers you really like

[00:06:34] Kentucky and so does the world I've got Oakland upsetting Kentucky in round one round one big one

[00:06:41] like when I'll stay here because I've got a lot of upsets over here in the south I've also got

[00:06:48] let's see James Madison over a Wisconsin up here in the south in the Midwest I've got some

[00:06:55] listen to these dogs I've got I've got TCU Utah State that's not a big dog but I've got

[00:06:59] McGee State over Kanzaga I've got Samford over Kansas I've got Oregon over South Carolina

[00:07:05] and let's move over here to the west for the upsets in round one I've got Charleston

[00:07:12] upsetting Alabama I've got Grand Canyon upsetting St. Mary's yeah and I've got Nevada upsetting Dayton

[00:07:18] and then in the east I think I've got all chalk that's all I got all chalk in the east that's

[00:07:24] the only one I have chalk yeah so guys yeah it's exciting yes so let's talk about our trips real quick

[00:07:33] oh but before I move into our trips for March Madness I can't believe I'm actually gonna say this

[00:07:38] on the airhank I just can't believe I want to do it but I want to do it you may have already heard

[00:07:42] this story do it so I was I had this really great run last week we watched NC State every game of

[00:07:49] their five game win talk about how amazing to do it five games unbelievable they played the way that

[00:07:54] they played five games and you know has a Carolina fan I respect the that streak sure and they

[00:08:00] they played amazing against us that it was like it's something I can't describe you know when you

[00:08:07] root for something for so long and it just hadn't happened in 37 years and you see it all kind of

[00:08:12] coming together and it happens amazing feeling so anyway we'll get back to that five day run in

[00:08:17] a second but on day two of the run I went to this place city Walt Brewery and a person I had not

[00:08:23] seen she graduated with me since 92 I probably seemed to once or twice since then

[00:08:29] is talking to another friend of our hoody Bowman yeah and hoody was like Chad come over here

[00:08:34] and I was like hey am I gonna announce this person's name on the air she's a real sweet girl

[00:08:39] and she said I wanted to tell you that um I listened to your podcast and I was like great and she

[00:08:46] was like I don't she said I love Hank Eimer and what he brings to the show and so I was sitting

[00:08:52] there and hoody was like she said nothing about me she said I love Hank Eimer and what he brings

[00:08:59] to the show and hoody was like well you don't what do you think about Chad and she was like well

[00:09:04] you're kind of I mean this is in my face I'm not seeing her what she says this is not exactly

[00:09:08] behind your back exactly and so I've seen her twice since 1992 she graduated with me and she was

[00:09:15] like well you're kind of funny but I love Hank I'm like oh my god I love this woman thank you can't

[00:09:20] believe I've told you this story now his head's even bigger oh I love it but anyway it was a trip

[00:09:25] so that kind of kicked off the night for that was that was actually the Duke game I think day three

[00:09:31] of the NC State run so they went through Louisville Syracuse Duke Virginia and then Carolina to

[00:09:37] wrap it all up and man what a week it was I'm still exhausted man think about how there's players

[00:09:43] oh I can't believe I mean you know Carolina had a distinct advantage because of just playing time

[00:09:51] right all right but they played amazing they really did it was fun to watch yeah it really was

[00:09:55] and before that week kicked off on Tuesday and I'm sure you went to the Hickory High so tell me

[00:10:01] about us we streamed it and I watched it in from home but was it just exciting yeah well you know

[00:10:06] I mean I think that this team is a special team because they've got I mean they were blown people

[00:10:10] away and all year even as good as Hickory was they heard about Central Cabarras everybody was talking

[00:10:16] about like oh they're the Goliath right you regardless how good you are you're not going to get

[00:10:21] past that Goliath well our team didn't believe that our coach didn't believe that our fans didn't

[00:10:28] believe that and so when we got to Winston and started playing you know they've been beaten people

[00:10:33] by 20 to 60 points right at halftime we were down one and I think they're a light man

[00:10:41] we got kind of punched in the mouth a little bit right and it was about as high level of high school

[00:10:47] basketball you could watch you know and it was amazing because you're going to have things

[00:10:55] in a game that dictate you know the outcome and it were just few few things you know if

[00:11:02] we throw here there a rebound here there a drop shot you know a called foul right and we were

[00:11:09] right back in that game but you cannot I mean you cannot downplay the effort that Hickory gave

[00:11:16] and it was a pretty I mean it's pretty special to get that far and I mean Daniel Willis coached

[00:11:21] the peck out of those moves amazing the interesting thing on television it looked like the

[00:11:26] the level was so high it didn't look like high school basketball it looked like a college basketball

[00:11:30] game it was unbelievable the other thing both teams how I mean they would they were relentless

[00:11:36] you know what I'm saying they would not give up like one would take a body blow and then someone

[00:11:41] you know what I'm saying there was punch after punch and the other one would just keep fighting

[00:11:45] yes I mean unreal yeah and you know each dunk meant something each you know every three

[00:11:51] pointer meant something and I you know there were a lot of points in the game but did you see

[00:11:57] my man John whole Brooks pick at half court no oh I did he said a screen in half court

[00:12:03] and that guy went yes I mean it was like hitting a brick wall when he hit that when he hit that

[00:12:09] everybody in the place was like oh you should have been watching where you were going yes it was

[00:12:13] a massive it was but it was great and you know the amount of fans you saw it the game before you know

[00:12:19] when they had to turn people away I mean was the last time they had to turn people away sure but when

[00:12:22] there the amount of fans it came down to watch them you know my father-in-law and they went to

[00:12:29] Higri High he went down with a car full of his buddies they went to high school with how cool and

[00:12:33] you know it was just really cool to see all that support yep Jennifer went with a big group of

[00:12:38] girls and behind her where CJ Heinz and his family who lives in Winston now so it was great as

[00:12:44] she said she saw you and Michael from across the way and then anyway every time she turned her head

[00:12:49] she saw somebody else that she knew so she said it was a great great turnout there was congratulations

[00:12:54] to the Higri High School basketball team as well as the ladies they didn't make it quite as far

[00:12:58] but they made it to the tournaments a good job to both teams there for sure all right Hank

[00:13:03] let's go back to last week the NC State run and not to talk about the NC State run but let's just

[00:13:09] talk about you know like the events so it's Tuesday right watching the stream in the game NC State

[00:13:16] had gotten their win we watched the Higri High School streaming at a buddy's house day one probably get

[00:13:22] back to the crib about 11 Jennifer's come back to the crib after the game same time Wednesday

[00:13:28] that's the Duke game city walk meet a couple state fans a couple state fans turned into about 30 people

[00:13:34] you know all like there to think it's over the season's over let's get together for the last time

[00:13:41] they get the dub no I'm sorry that was the Syracuse game I'm sorry I bet when the Syracuse game

[00:13:47] city walk so the next day it's round three against Duke a couple other people calling like we

[00:13:52] gonna get together to watch this and I was like sure why not so we get together at a friend's house

[00:13:59] bingo they get a win did you need that much encouragement not in your very true I really did not

[00:14:04] really you're making the phone call I'm probably wasn't in the text out so then game four Virginia

[00:14:11] hey we had good look at the city walk for the Tuesday game everybody come back up here let's run it

[00:14:16] back again right so we watched the Carolina game there is first and then watch part of that one

[00:14:20] and then Jennifer and Lucy Rose were at a dance function they had left about that time

[00:14:27] and so I see her in this is added we took it back to the crib rolled out the 65 inches of

[00:14:32] viewing pleasure into the patio it is the as cobwebs on it it's not been rolled out in a long time

[00:14:36] yeah and made a fire out there like the good old days and the people from the neighborhood just

[00:14:41] started popping by like yeah I remiss this whole place yeah we haven't done it forever yeah

[00:14:47] so we did that and celebrated just fabulously and then the next day was Saturday very groggy sleepy

[00:14:55] wipe the cobwebs out get up play a little golf and then another friend decides he wants to have

[00:15:01] the party that night he's a Carolina guy but invited to watch state people over and magic happen

[00:15:08] you know magic happen what I love it how you started this story with this is not about the state

[00:15:13] anything about the state and it was all about the state win it was nothing but it was just

[00:15:18] about how people get I mean think something special was brewing like surely state fans don't get

[00:15:24] together you know it's why would you celebrate exactly I would celebrate any athletic event fair

[00:15:32] it's fair but for some reason we all felt like we needed to be a part of this and then sure enough

[00:15:38] bump upon the crowds sort of growing and it was just a magical week for sure I think I did get one

[00:15:43] invite to one of those things yeah I think I told you walk city walk yeah so if you would have

[00:15:48] been at the city walk then you would have gotten about to the next one which turned into the next one

[00:15:51] which it turned into the next one well I'm glad I stayed away and so I'm glad for I know you are

[00:15:57] so Hank let's roll into the festivities that begin tomorrow I'm leaving Thursday we'll start with

[00:16:03] your trip through Friday we're leaving Friday yes yes well some guys are going up Thursday so what

[00:16:09] what we're doing is you know March Madness high school buddies get together we go up to the mountain

[00:16:13] house and we we just kind of stay around there it's kind of near West Jefferson so we might pop

[00:16:17] into West Jeff and watch a game there whatever it's near the river but the rivers gonna be freezing

[00:16:24] it's supposed to be raining I foresee a lot of house time hanging around the house but board games maybe

[00:16:31] maybe maybe board games so what some of the guys are going up Thursday night me and three other

[00:16:37] guys are gonna leave Friday morning early like drop kids off at school get up there because we've got

[00:16:43] the normal suspects that are going up there but we've had two or three guys that we haven't seen one

[00:16:49] of them we haven't seen since graduation it's unbelievable and so he's gonna be up there and so it's

[00:16:53] gonna be a whole lot of fun and we want to get up there and make sure we we have enough time

[00:16:58] yes to spend with one another do you think when he gets back into the mix he'll be like oh my god

[00:17:06] get me out of here or where he say oh my god I missed y'all oh come on it's glad to be back

[00:17:11] he you know us but I do feel like it's funny because we did this whole text chain together all of us

[00:17:16] and you know saying stuff from high school and everything else and he immediately was like

[00:17:23] this is gonna be a lot of fun this is feels this feels right it feels like high school

[00:17:27] I love it yeah so we're gonna do that and then you know all of us are responsible for different

[00:17:33] meals you know my friend who we're going up to his mountain house it was you know blow out let's go

[00:17:39] do it now all of a sudden we're getting text messages like you're taking care of meals on Friday hey

[00:17:44] you're the breakfast guy on Saturday hey don't worry about the bloody Mary Bart Timmy's got it right

[00:17:48] right right right we've got a bunch of texts going on so we're just gonna leave him the mess

[00:17:53] there you get the mess on Sunday because I think we're all gonna have to get up pretty early

[00:17:57] get out of there yeah head back yeah well that's a good thing about the mount trip compared to

[00:18:01] the beach trip the drive home on Sunday is much less painful because it's a lot shorter right yeah

[00:18:07] tell me about yours you leave early tomorrow tomorrow will even early in the morning tomorrow

[00:18:12] one of the guys actually who's on the trip with us said what are the chances that we can leave

[00:18:18] tonight like he wanted to go down tonight and you know which is a great idea yeah but we can't

[00:18:24] I can't add that yes yet there's no way because then you wouldn't even make it to the end you

[00:18:29] wouldn't make it to a Saturday you know you'd be close to dead or in an urgent care somewhere

[00:18:34] so we said no to that we're leaving eight first pick up as a eight I get picked up at eight thirty

[00:18:39] right and then what are this is our standard protocol we go to Gastonia well at least we make it

[00:18:46] to Gastonia leave Hickory everybody's excited and we're talking about all the things that we're

[00:18:52] gonna do and all the memories of the things we've done in the past and so we hit this little store

[00:18:57] right outside Gastonia the QT yeah I normally roll in get everybody lottery tickets so we can just

[00:19:03] scratch scratch them all the way down we talk about while we're scratching when we win this money

[00:19:09] we you know what we've done is a million times we're never coming home we'll fly from

[00:19:13] Urdu Beach to Las Vegas blah blah blah and then I stock up on the slim gyms I gotta have plenty of

[00:19:19] slim gyms yeah yep so we get through there and we we're talking and then probably the next stop

[00:19:25] is about an hour and a half down the road so now we're talking about maybe say it's 10 10 30

[00:19:34] go ksh you know what that sound is I think it sounds like a defense move on a video game but

[00:19:41] I mean I'm guessing it's a beverage that you're having it's not ad you get ad you get it's go ksh

[00:19:47] so that normally happens about 10 30 or 11 and then we take that all down to make it to

[00:19:53] cherry grove okay and tomorrow is supposed to be gorgeous this would be really pretty really

[00:19:57] expecting rain too the entire from Friday to Saturday relentless rain up to like four inches of

[00:20:03] rain you know we ought to do we ought to wait till about four o'clock on Friday or Saturday

[00:20:09] in FaceTime each other and just see what kind of havoc is sure that sounds like a keep your phone

[00:20:15] on yeah we'll have it all yes this trip because somebody and I'll tell you a little bit about our

[00:20:20] trip Hank you know this but this has been going on for 28 years roughly and so it started as just

[00:20:26] our high school friends and then as time went on you guys started joining us on the trip you'd have

[00:20:31] your own place and so your group of high school friends my group and my brothers group would even go

[00:20:37] on the same trip I mean amazing crazy I mean 30s plus dudes together from Hickory High all together

[00:20:43] cherry grove on the same weekend but over time you know now we've got people in our group who

[00:20:50] you have college tours planned this week yeah so they can't go another group has very or another

[00:20:57] guy is very young kids six years old they plan their spring break because their kids are out of

[00:21:01] school so they got spring break trip we've got another fellow who's been on the trip for us almost

[00:21:06] every year his mother-in-law is turning 80 they've got a surprise birthday party so anyway

[00:21:11] there's you know life happens it happens you can't have everybody there every year but the thing is

[00:21:17] at least one of us has been there throughout the years to keep the party going right and so we're

[00:21:22] gonna continue the tradition and it should be lovely so in their spot a couple other of my

[00:21:28] college buddies they have been down there the same time too we just decided to join forces so

[00:21:32] they'll be in our house so we'll have eight to nine strong so it'll be really good and y'all

[00:21:38] gonna have like 15 15 strong 15 oh last time we did this last year we had a lot of guys too and

[00:21:44] it was great because I remember our good friend Michael Banks and our in the kitchen and there are

[00:21:51] people in the kitchen in the dining area in the watching part of the game I mean people everywhere

[00:21:57] and it was so loud like people are like laughing and screaming like you know bake punch and

[00:22:03] I was like Michael come here come here and so I look at him I was like just close your eyes

[00:22:09] and listen to all the talk that's going on right now and it was like people talking trash to one

[00:22:57] did a couple months yeah I guess it was about a month and a half ago the Charlie's Ag story I mean

[00:23:02] it's becoming legendary people with I was playing tennis the other day and somebody I wouldn't

[00:23:07] get on the same tennis court they were talking about that story I mean so funny you know

[00:23:13] and real quick on that the story about Super Bowl one of our friends Charlie's Ag who's not a big

[00:23:18] sports guy missed the super Bowl because he was that broke back mountain never gets old and it's

[00:23:24] the truth this reality so anyway the details that I have it's unbelievable so that was one of the top

[00:23:32] of podcasts from last the last six months but you know from the last year one of our most

[00:23:37] well renowned podcasts was starch madness oh yeah you know yes you know a lot of people commented

[00:23:43] how wonderful they thought starch madness was and just two we're not gonna go through it this year

[00:23:47] because we're gonna do a little bit of flavor add a little flavor this year last year's final two

[00:23:53] went to an the final two was an up-and-coming scallop potato team do you remember them I mean

[00:23:58] they came out of nowhere they broke into the dance nobody even thought they'd get a bid yeah

[00:24:03] and they upset the number one seed and they knocked down on eight seed and before you know it

[00:24:08] there in the final the final staring down McDonald's rise the number one seed McDonald's fry

[00:24:14] and Hank I'm getting hungry just thinking about it it was such a close battle but in the end

[00:24:19] McDonald's fried put out a squeaker but everybody left with a lot of respect for scallop potato

[00:24:24] that's a lot of respect I know I said I I won't lie to you after the podcast Aaron we went out

[00:24:31] made we both got a potato and made them yes they're delicious wonderful wonderful so great job

[00:24:37] last year on the starch madness this year we're gonna just switch it up a little bit and this one I

[00:24:42] couldn't find a ride a word that rhyme with March or starch but what this one is going to be called

[00:24:47] is sitcom madness all right and so what I've done is I've seeded the top 16 sitcoms through our years

[00:24:55] okay so the ones that I didn't really see it would be like the I love Lucy's yeah or all in the

[00:25:00] family sure you know of the honey moona's yeah which some would classify as a top 16 but to us

[00:25:08] never really watch so I will give you a couple of the seeds that were there that didn't make it

[00:25:15] this time but we're right on the bubble I'm talking about knocking on the door right one that was

[00:25:20] so close and the only reason it was so close is because we talk about this one all the time

[00:25:25] because the dudes room was so cool with silver spoons yeah Ricky's rotors room and you know

[00:25:32] the den was so cool yeah so it made almost just because of the environment the show probably

[00:25:38] if you watched it right now would be so terrible yeah so that one another one that didn't make

[00:25:44] it was like the jeffersons I thought that was a little bit out of our time what's happening

[00:25:47] what's happening you know happy days that kind of genre they didn't quite make the cut but they

[00:25:52] were right there yeah you know if we had a maybe a 32 field or 64 they would make it right there's

[00:25:58] also a couple that classified more like as a drama sitcom like wonder years I don't know if you

[00:26:04] remember one of the one of years was one of my favorite shows of all time it just didn't make the cut

[00:26:09] because it was more drama oriented okay so that's kind of how I created this list so I'm

[00:26:14] gonna start with the 16 I'm gonna start with the matchups and then I'll tell you whose fight needs

[00:26:19] or playing each other and you tell me who gets makes it to the final easy enough and then number one

[00:26:24] seat sitcom madness going up against the 16th seed sign failed number one seat right no that no

[00:26:31] brainer going up against the golden girls okay there's no ladies don't stand a chance yes and for some

[00:26:37] reason I've left off a couple here but I'll let you fill it in our number two friends not my favorite

[00:26:42] but you know it's pop culture is going up against blank give me a 15th I cannot leave a left this

[00:26:48] blank I can fill it in real quick you know I 15 seed on that 15 seed I mean yeah I don't know

[00:36:08] recently on to to view to must must view the worst actor and I hate to say this about a little kid

[00:36:15] on modern family was the little adopted girl as she grew her acting skills diminished I mean by

[00:36:21] the time the show was over with you ready oh it just she was so cute and then as she got older and

[00:36:28] she was an an actress and so like they give her a line you can almost sometimes see her look at

[00:36:32] the camera not intentionally like you know because sometimes you look at the camera in that show

[00:36:36] like she would accidentally look at the camera like come on you're an actress you can't do this

[00:36:41] let's pull it together it was how I really liked I liked Mandy a lot of people did not like

[00:36:44] Mandy out of that many was hilarious as he got older you know not as funny but when he was a little

[00:39:24] hey when a kid makes a kid and that's kind of the thing it's like if a kid makes a catch

[00:39:28] that wouldn't been spectacular in summer ball or whatever

[00:39:33] to see them light up to see them get a hit to see it's pretty cool you know regardless of uh

[00:39:38] you know the outcome it's pretty cool right on well that's great how about you dance soccer

[00:39:41] oh everything yeah so Lucy Rose last weekend they performed in Alba Marl right and they're going

[00:39:48] to Ashville this week but she finished fourth overall and you know she's a freshman she could be

[00:39:53] against seniors fourth overall our team dance finished first overall another one took third place

[00:39:58] she came home with all these medals so impressive it's so awesome they did her team was spectacular

[00:40:04] and then they played St. Stephen's yesterday at St. Stephen's and beat him all St. Stephen's turf

[00:40:10] 2o is that is she playing varsy she's JV JV okay okay did Varsity girls 1-0

[00:40:16] everyone want to yes yeah so good uh good day overall for the Hickory High School Lady

[00:40:21] RetroNators soccer team but anyway she's just enjoying it thoroughly livias doing so good at school

[00:40:27] too I don't know if I told you or not but a roommate moved out okay so she's solo in the room

[00:40:32] that's kind of cool just kind of exactly the way she wanted it that's kind of cool yeah her roommate

[00:40:36] took an R.A. job and I don't think it's the same dorm but a different hall right and so uh

[00:40:42] uh livi is pretty happy pretty so all space to herself you know and so it's going really well

[00:40:48] and now she's she is living in a different dorm next year that's for what like her friends

[00:40:55] that she's made right well it's no it's with her friends that she's made they're actually off

[00:40:59] campuses the house and they've all got like their own rooms so it's I mean pretty sweet it's gonna be

[00:41:04] cool like I did did you ever live in a house off campus when you did what year my junior and senior

[00:41:09] year okay yeah I lived in it was more of a townhouse but we were off campus junior and senior year

[00:41:15] two of the best years of my life yeah I am not going alive yeah it's pretty special time finally

[00:41:19] kind of felt even though the dorm experience was wonderful I would never take that back

[00:41:23] not for a day of my life I felt more independent when I was in that townhouse my junior year life

[00:41:29] I can do this stuff on my own yeah you know I can actually do it yeah so you get a lot of confidence

[00:41:34] yeah those first two years you're looking for the connections with those people on your hallway

[00:41:37] right you know and I mean it you're looking for energy excitement all that stuff accountability to

[00:41:44] do homework and everything right junior senior year you're all grown up yeah I'm sure you are a heck

[00:41:49] of a scholar those two years absolutely sir Dean's list here we come Dean's list here we go

[00:43:03] dash through the marsh okay we'll see if that goes down a couple hats um and then yeah I guess

[00:43:10] that standard poker chips you know couple beverages always bring my sleeping bag just in case how about

[00:43:16] how about is that did you bring your sleeping bag because of the last time that we were down there

[00:43:20] and you stated Davies you had a washcloth to sleep with and it was cold on the floor they set the air

[00:43:26] condition for 60 degrees I had no towels I had my shirt off in my own man in a door and

[00:43:35] then I said y'all do you have anything that I could cover up with Tucker threw me a washcloth

[00:43:40] it covered my shoulder they won't part of my shoulder and that was it I don't know even now I

[00:43:45] slept Hank but anyway I do I'm yeah I made it through that night but anyway no washcloths here

[00:43:51] I will have my trusty sleeping bag and can't wait two weeks we'll tell our listeners about our

[00:43:57] lovely adventures and hopefully we're talking about Tor Hill and State meeting in the final four
