In recognition of this seminal milestone, a new book, Nimble and Tenacious: The History of Catawba Valley Community College, looks back on all that has made the institution an essential part of the region it serves. The book is produced by Redhawk Publications, an initiative of the college with a mission to present material that showcases the uniqueness of the Catawba Valley.
