In addition to chatting about Statesville, Steve talks about the importance of collecting and how to create nostalgia by showing the passage of time. Steve’s book has numerous photos going back as far as the late 19th Century. The transformation of Statesville in North Carolina is similar to the growth of many towns in the South. Redhawk Publications admires Steve’s passion for collecting artifacts about his hometown as well as his devotion.
