[00:01:44] Friday. I've got to think of something. I could put an IOU in a bag on the Christmas tree somewhere. Well, do you want to tell me that there's going to be things? Well, I'm just prepping because, again, I'm in order mode now. Yeah. I guess I think I ordered something earlier this week, maybe something late last week whenever I got it,

[00:03:03] But some of it requires me going to the store, this money is to be used for this because we wanted to get you this. We still want to get you this, but Alas, it is not available. And so I'm kind of banking on possibly after Christmas sales happen and if my kids are and I will say it's a it's a type of clothing and so if if

[00:05:21] That was sold out. That they had another one.

[00:05:25] That wasn't what is on her list,

[00:05:26] but it was the thing that she likes.

[00:05:28] And I was this close to saying,

[00:05:30] I can maybe buy this one.

[00:05:31] And then I remember who my daughter is.

[00:05:37] I will not, I will not make this decision for her.

[00:05:40] I will not be forced to cry on Christmas morning.

[00:05:45] You will not, you will not's no presence under the tree. One package has arrived and the rest is in root and or not taken care of yet. So. Same boat. I have to get one thing today, but nothing's under my tree.

[00:07:01] Yeah. And honestly, I don't put anything under my tree until Christmas Eve because

[00:08:02] And I was still able to get her a couple things she wasn't expecting because I, like we do,

[00:08:05] we listen when we go places.

[00:08:10] that she probably wouldn't mind getting.

[00:08:12] I could go rogue on those.

[00:08:16] But the thing I was getting this morning,

[00:08:20] I'm disgusted so I was not going rogue.

[00:08:22] But yes, I'm very serious.

[00:08:25] They are detailed lists, the stores where they can be found,

[00:08:28] if it's not found in that store, Right. But she doesn't want gift cards. Oh, what? Me. And I'm like, what are we talking about? Well, my kids are all day. Love gift cards. My kids love them. Love them. Yeah, my kids love a gift card because I think they feel like powerful with it.

[00:09:40] You know, they go and they're like, Hmm.

[00:09:44] Maybe I'll do this.

[00:09:46] Like they they stretch shopping and. We'll see.

[00:11:01] We'll hear next month how successful it all was. I'm just being honest. McDonald's French fries are the the the end all be all for fast food French fries for me. They're my favorite French fry. Okay, they were my just like very little salt on them. And I feel like I'm just eating a plain potato. And so, Wendy's are usually have a good balance of not too salty,

[00:13:41] but salty enough where I can not just be eating a plain potato. regular tomatoes and all that stuff as you know and the Hormel chili or whatever. It's right there. It tastes just the same. It is Wendy's branded. And the only thing is I add a little more I add a little bit of water to it to kind of juice

[00:15:02] it up a little bit. But overall, the taste is delicious.

[00:16:06] Starbucks and Duncan as a fast food giant that seeks afternoon boost in sales

[00:16:11] They've already opened their first location and it's in Illinois

[00:16:17] But they're planning on opening up additional ones in 2024 and

[00:16:26] It says that they were saying that they had an afternoon beverage pick me up on occasion

[00:17:43] demand what would happen if a McDonald's character from the 1980s that was part alien part surfer part robot opened up a restaurant in 2023. I don't remember this character. That's why I was what if what would happen if oh okay if there was a part alien part surfer part robot who opened up a restaurant look to it. Some of the drinks that are going to be offered are things like the churro frappe, a s'm Sprite without feeling bad about just getting a McDonald's Sprite. You don't have to get the fries or you can get their turmeric. Whatever you can get there.

[00:20:26] My pears slushy. So this is slightly less than Starbucks prices. Okay. With its 16 ounce gingerbread latte and caramel brulee latte's each costing $5.95 at Starbucks. So it's very sweet. A little less. Yeah. Then Starbucks. I'm not a coffee drinker. I drink tea, but.

[00:21:46] Well, I've heard, which is that's kind of for your pretzels. None of that goes, my problem is none of it goes together. You know what I mean? Like it's just like someone came in and said, everybody bring an idea to the meeting of what we should serve at McDrinkies and everybody's idea one. So they just said we're doing it all. These sound fantastic.

[00:25:40] McDonald's itself, the OG is planning to open 10,000 more stores worldwide by 2027. why we eat it all because we just yeah it's after games it's late night practices it's whatever else right like with that's what's open it's always open yeah it's always open and like I said if we're going to an early tournament we can or practice we can grab a I can grab a coffee my kids can grab hotcakes you know I mean they love those pancakes in the

[00:27:02] morning you know yeah they get that some hash browns of sandwich whatever um and in the I don't know. They weren't terrible. For like, um, like they weren't customized or anything. I'm assuming just little pepperoni pizzas or something. If you get pepperoni or cheese, I think. I mean, I was young. They may have had other things that I'm interested.

[00:28:24] So what? Okay. when I was a kid. We were, I remember Hardys, like going to Hardys's big.

[00:29:42] I remember going to Hardys more for some reason.

[00:29:46] Well, we had hot dogs. Well, I have never had that. I have always gone there for the biscuit and gravy. So who was it? I think it's which PS. I can't find anything comparable to out here, except for Carl's Jr. Like nobody can do biscuit and gravy out here.

[00:32:09] which obviously southern fast food, chicken, biscuits, types of stuff, but they have the boberry biscuits, which are basically blueberry biscuits with that same icing drizzle on top.

[00:32:15] I've never, in all my years down here, I wasn't introduced to Bojangles till I moved down here

[00:32:21] to North Carolina. But I have never had their biscuits, okay. Do you remember or did you have the Wendy's buffet that had pasta and salad? I may be making this up. I may be making them up next. I think you are making that up. I've never heard of such a thing.

[00:33:46] My childhood was awesome. through a garden spot of Mexican fiesta. What? Okay, so this is it was difficult to maintain. It was discontinued in 1998. So yes, that was what I grew up with in Ohio. We had one Wendy's. What do we only have one Wendy's that when I was growing up? We may have everything. I agree. Yeah. And if I was just like, and again, I don't know if it's just because I didn't eat fast food a lot, but I remember being like, this stuff is pretty good. Sure. Today, I might be like, if I have one more.

[00:36:21] From Wendy's. That hot chili on that cold lettuce. Right? So I mean, I'm just like getting soup and salad essentially. Yeah. That is a good pro tip. So I mean, everybody's like, oh, I don't really know if I want taco salad. Like it's not taco salad. It's chili and salad separate. But you get a little bag of chips with it.

[00:37:40] So maybe that's their leftover Mexican tribute

[00:39:07] and dig out a little bit of the top of all. You know where at buffet I was spending my time at in the 90s? Pizza Hut because I was reading book it. I was I was reading books and getting pizza. That's what I was doing. That's where I was getting my buffet. Do they still have buffet at Pizza Hut? Does anybody have a buffet? They do not.

[00:40:21] They do not. We only have a carry out Pizza Hut's still open. Like, I don't even know if there's pizza here. Ours is just carry out. Does there still pizza had open in Hickory area? Yes. Oh, like you can go inside and eat it? Yes. Okay. But no buffet. No.

[00:42:45] Well, like I said, I really did it when I was traveling and I had nowhere else to go or I didn't know what I wanted to eat And I just needed to sit down somewhere you couldn't find a super bar somewhere

Yeah, the first person that came to my mind was, and I saw the under the comments, everyone talking about Shanae, and I was like, Oh, yeah,
