We've been watching. We have been wondering and watching and waiting and now the Summer House reunion is over, all except for the bonus episode that's coming our way.
[00:01:01] I don't understand why that was necessary. Just tack it on and give us the meat. Like, that's all we want to know. But I assume you have watched everything from Summer House. Yes. Okay. We have not talked about this. We have not discussed outside of the show. So this is, this is all encompassing reunion. I have thoughts. I have feelings about this.
[00:01:31] And, and I feel like after we discuss this, I'm done. I'm done. You know, it's, I might as well be Jesse Solomon. I'm just a puddle over here. Just done. Um, all right. Well, let's get into it. I mean, how dare you make me like Kyle Cooke? Right. Who saw that coming? Gosh. I want to make it extremely clear.
[00:02:00] I've not been a fan of Kyle Cook. Ever really. I'm not. He's not my, he's not my vibe of person. I've never really developed a feeling either way about him. I mean, he's had some like funny moments. Agreed. I mean, he's pure entertainment. Yes. But. But I don't want to be married to him. I don't want to be in a relationship with him. No, he's not someone who I was like, oh, you know what? He's a great partner. He's marriage material. Right.
[00:02:30] But he, here's where I get conflicted about Kyle. Cause this is how I've always felt even before this. Okay. And I might be one of the only people who. This season felt the way I felt about his and Amanda's relationship. But I've always felt like. Carl. From the beginning. From season one. Definitely not a great. Boyfriend. Fiance. Husband.
[00:03:00] Most of the time is a pretty good friend. I know he and Carl went through his things, but Carl was also, you know, like. Had his own issues. Yes. Then when the two friends, Lindsay and Carl got together, that was a little weird for him, I think. But, but I will say this. I was actually shocked when they went ahead with the marriage. Agreed. Because he never showed her from day one that he was like this. I'm all in. It's all about you. Right.
[00:03:30] The only thing that he did to really solidify that was actually ask her. Ask her. Right. To marry him. That's about the extent of like secret of special showings. Right. She was also kind of pushing that. Right. Yeah. Like. Yeah. It's kind of like, I want to be this. And I don't want to be your girlfriend. Like he's one of the oldest ones. Right. Like she's like, this is what I see in my future. Like, I don't want to just waste my time dating if it's not leading me. Like. Right. And that's fine.
[00:03:58] If you're dating and marry, you're dating and marry. And if you're dating a guy who's not dating and marry. Yeah. Then. Right. You're not on the same page. That's fine. And again, I know I'm watching an edited version. I don't know the conversations that are happening. Sure. Between those two. But this season. Yes. Kyle was horrible. But from the beginning of the season. I also felt. Like Amanda. Was poking the bear. Intentionally. Oh.
[00:04:27] I feel like she's done that. Her home. Their. Concept. To me. Of. They go out there. They hang out for a weekend. You know. And honestly, I feel like. Every summer. Every cast. Every time. All they do is. They talk outside. About somebody. And then they go and lay in bed.
[00:04:56] And talk about the other person. Like. I. I don't. I don't quite understand it. It's not really my. Thing. Like. I don't know. Like. Amanda. Paige. Hannah. Lynn. I mean. [00:06:53] Here's my overall opinion. Of. This reunion. I get. You know. I mean. West. West. And Amanda. Are. Like silent. The whole time. Right. And they're just not. Showing anything. Lindsay. Sierra. Mia. All. Just railing on them. Right. The whole time. At first. When I was first watching it. I kind of. Was like. Amanda. West. Like.
[00:07:23] Speak up. Like. Say something. You know. Come on. And I think. I got just a glimpse of like. If they tried to say anything. It just. Came at them again. Tenfold. Like they were not going to get a chance to say really anything. Without getting. Backlash. Like. It was really jarring. For me. To watch. Because we weren't. Really talking about. Summer House. We were just talking about. Amanda. And West.
[00:07:53] Uh huh. And. While. Yes. That's what people wanted. When they would try to pull in. These other little things like. Ben. And. What's her name? The blonde girl. Bailey. You know. Going off on Ben. How he. Talks to people. Or something. And then. Bringing Levi in. To talk like. Where was she all summer? And she comes and sits on the couch. For five minutes. And then. KJ. Bless his heart. I understand. Like.
[00:08:22] He's got real issues. But like. It was really odd. To throw that in. And then everybody be like. Oh. KJ. Like. We wish you the best. So Amanda. When was the first time. You slept with West? Yeah. You know. And it was like. This is. It's all really. They maybe should have had. A summer house thing. And then have like. Amanda and West special. Episode. Or something. But. In a way. This summer. Was really about. West and Amanda.
[00:08:52] Because they acted strange. On the show. All summer. Now. I. I caught that. I caught that early. When. Now that we're looking at it. I have never. Said it. Well. I actually did. Like. I mean. I didn't think. I'll put it this way. When I first started watching. You knew it. Whenever you watched the season. Yes. When I was watching the season. I thought something was going on. No. I'm saying. When we were watching the season. Everybody already knew. That they were together. No.
[00:09:22] We didn't find out till March. And this. They were. The season started in like. January. February. Right? We had had a few episodes. Yeah. Before it came out. So. When I first started watching the show. Because then everything got re-edited. Remember? Right. Yeah. So after the show. Yeah. Of course. Everybody. When they first started. What I noticed. Was that Amanda and West. Were spending a lot more time together. I never realized. That her. Jesse and West. Had this like. Friendship outside.
[00:09:52] Of the thing. And then they started talking about it. And then I was like. Well. Maybe that's why. She and West are. Like seem so weird. And so close. Right. But. It always seemed weird to me. Like the attention. She was getting from West. Or the attention. That she was seeking from West. Yeah. Like just the things. That they were doing. Now obviously. Yeah. After we found out everything. It was like. Makes sense. You want. But. Right. Right. But. I had just never seen the two of them.
[00:10:22] Interact that way. Mm hmm. The two seasons prior. Since West has joined the show. And. I mean. Maybe the difference was. Amanda was having marital issues. Publicly now. Right. But. I also think the reunion. Was about that. Because of that. But. I also think. And. To your point. Like Lindsay. Sierra. Sierra. And Mia. I liked that they. Gave it. Like. We're holding them accountable.
[00:10:51] But without raising their voices. They were calm. Sierra. Try not to cry. She did it a little bit. But yeah. Right. But. I honestly think. West and Amanda. Came out there. And said. I think the fact is. That nobody believed them. In the reunion. I still don't believe them. Like. They didn't come out there. To be truthful. And to be held accountable. They came out there. To try to save their. Their public image. And I think it failed. I think if they had come out there. And said. Look. Now that the cat's out of the bag. Everybody knows we're together.
[00:11:20] This started before. The summer house. We have been. Seeing each other. We have been going out on dates. More as friends. Since maybe. April. May. June. Of last year. And we started to develop. Real romantic feelings. During that time. Around July. August. And we have. Been together ever since. Had they come out there. And said that. Yes. The blowback. That they would have gotten. A hundred percent. Kyle would. And I think. You know. People are speculating.
[00:11:50] That they're not doing that. Because Amanda is still. In the middle of a divorce. And it could backfire. But girl. I think it's going to backfire anyway. Nobody. We have a timeline. Like there's ways to find out. These things. Well. And you know. I don't think we're ever going to get. A truthful answer about a timeline. Ever. Because I think it's murky. I don't think they. Are going to get that. However. You. You were saying. What you wish. You could have like. Heard them just come out. And say. Right. I think people would have appreciated it more. And that. Right.
[00:12:19] And today would be a different day for them. There's part of me though. That wishes. They would have come out and said. Guys. Listen. Yes. Like if I'm Amanda. You know. Yes. I fell for him. I shouldn't have. I didn't really want to. But. We've been good friends. This. Developed into more. I'm. Apologized that. You know. This happened.
[00:12:47] I'm so sorry to you guys. And I know that it was hurtful. But it's been two years. Since he and Sierra dated. They were back in friendship mode. He made it clear to her. That he did not want to be. Her boyfriend. They didn't. He didn't want to date Sierra. And while I wish that I had not developed feelings. I did. And. I apologize. But. That's it. Like. I mean. I wish she would have just straight up said like. I'm sorry.
[00:13:17] I didn't want to. But it happened. And I'm doing it. And. It wasn't like. You know. I mean. She even tried saying. She's like. It wasn't like I had an affair. I didn't step out on my husband. You know. And. And they're all like. It's emotional. It's emotional. You know. This is where it ties back into. Another little problem I had with. Was. That. Everybody dismissed. Anything. Kyle's ever done. That they have all hated Kyle for. For years now. But.
[00:13:47] You know. On the couch. At the reunion. He's like. Golden boy. All of a sudden. Right. They're all like. Kyle. You're so brave. You're so smart. Like Kyle. You know. Kyle. Kyle did this. But we all knew that. Yes. We know. Kyle cheated. And this. They even tried saying. He didn't cheat at one point. And then Amanda was like. But. Well before. They cheated. He cheated. Before they even got married. And then. And she has said. And then she says. Well I have proof.
[00:14:16] But she will never produce that proof. And even Kyle has asked her. Right. Give a video. Show me. Because. It's never happened. Right. I mean. Yeah. I don't think people are excusing Kyle. I think what. Again. Through new. Through new lenses. Yeah. It's. You haven't had sex in four years. Yeah. So you were really living as roommates. Mm-hmm. But you see her being affectionate with all these other men. Kyle.
[00:14:47] West. Like you see her being capable of emotions. And being. You know. Good. Again. We don't know what's going on in their house. She's not supportive of lover boy. She's not supportive of helping your livelihood. Like get. Right. Out of bankruptcy. It's all about. Well I did this for you. Now it's my turn. Like not. It's not a partnership. It's a. I've got my thing. You've got yours. I don't want anything to do with yours. Because now it's not successful. So. Yeah. I'm kind of going to back out and do my swimsuit thing now.
[00:15:17] I think people are starting to see that. Maybe she wasn't a great partner either. And maybe some of these things weren't. No. Oh should he have yelled at her and cussed at her and done all that stuff. No. But. Yeah. No. They were there long enough. Both of them together toxic. Like it's not. They should not have been together. Lay around and talk about people. Like you know. I don't think she's some moral compass. Right. So. Do you think that this is all different?
[00:15:45] And I understand that there's another player in it. Meaning Sierra. But. Do you think that this has a whole different feel. If Amanda and Kyle have never been married? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So you think that. The Amanda and Kyle of it kind of has. An enough weight. Or Sierra and West. Issue of it has enough weight. So I don't think it's a Sierra West issue. I've never seen it as a Sierra West issue. I think she.
[00:16:16] She feels. Why do you think everybody's taking. Giving her the Ariana Maddox treatment? I think it has more to do with Amanda. Because she's been such a good friend to Amanda. It's the friend betrayal. Right. Not the West betrayal. Because she kind of knows who West is. Like she's clocked him for a while. Sure. I mean yes. She. She didn't talk to him for two years. Because of what he did. Previously. When they did date. When they were a couple. And they were getting back to being friends. But I also think Amanda didn't call that out. Because.
[00:16:48] There was no information that she found out. During the reunion. Without even saying anything like that. Like yeah. We have hung out. Yes. He has contacted me. Yes. I have spent the night at his house. Like. She knew none of that. And. Even about the make out. At the summer house. Like. Right. I don't think she wanted to say that. Because I feel like she knows that. But Sierra probably has her receipts. And she's done her. Her background checks. And she can. Everything that Amanda says. She goes. Well that's interesting. Because on this date. Right. West called me. Or West sent me this. You know what I mean? Like.

I don't know. I'm. I just feel like sometimes. Like Sierra was. Was taking. And I. I love Sierra. I do. But I do feel like sometimes. Even Kyle said it. There was a couple times. That she was a little.

[00:19:17] The men in Summer House. Are. Puddles. Yeah. And. You know. It. And they'll try to say. Oh. Well. No. We don't think about you. We don't think about. Lindsay. You are lying. Because you are. Lindsay is loving. The attention that she's gaining off this right now. I think Lindsay is taking over the page role. Mm-hmm. And you know. Because Paige just kept her mouth shut. For the most part. Yeah. Right. That's to say that she supports Sierra. Because Sierra is her real friend. Of course.
[00:19:47] I'm saying she's not like going on and speaking directly to Amanda. She's not saying these things. She's not coming and doing guest spots on the reunion. All that stuff that people wanted. Right. But. I would love to see people kind of step back and do that same thing. Like. Okay. Look. Yeah. We support Sierra. We've made it very clear. And good luck guys. Bye. Yeah. So now it's like seeing her.

And they were having their lunch break. And West went back there. And he said to Amanda. I know Sierra gets under your skin. That's not a just a reunion thing. They have had conversations about how they do not like Sierra. So I think it goes both ways. I think Sierra has understood that. I think Sierra has found things out.
[00:21:14] Since this happened about Amanda. I think Sierra is digging. That's the thing. I think she is spending too much mental energy on this. Yeah. But I think she's also giving people what they want for the reunion. And I think after the reunion. She's like. I've said my piece. Because now she's like. I don't even think about Amanda. We will not be friends anymore. Yeah. Like. But I thought what Kyle said. Kyle has become very insightful. Oh my gosh. Like. He looks so much more handsome now. He looks so much more healthy now. He seems so deep. And intuitive. And smart. Right. Like. Please. Keep away from Amanda. Like.
[00:21:44] I like this Kyle. Kyle. But. And I'm even enjoying the whole Sally. From Southern Charmichael. I think they're amazing. But anyway. When he said to Wes. What is your plan for Amanda? Because you have essentially. Like. Isolated her. And put her on an island. Yeah. Like. You've put her on an island. She has lost her friend group. These are not her friends anymore. Because these are my friends. Right. And like. When you said like. If it hadn't been for Amanda and Kyle. Like. Getting married. Would this have mattered?

He was the girlfriend. And it came along. I don't. I think if they broke up. The show would have gone on with Kyle. And whoever knew he was dating. I don't think Amanda would even. Be a factor. I don't think Amanda. As much as I don't. Understand her.
[00:26:42] I don't think that she was doing this. To purposely hurt. Sierra. But I do think. That she didn't. Think. That it would be. A big deal. Like. I think she just thought. Like. Whatever. We're. This is outside of the. Summer house. We're being kind of sneaky. About it. I might just like. Have some fun right now. Because I'm angry at my. Ex-husband. And I'm kind of.
[00:27:11] West is fun. And Sierra will never figure out. So it's not going to be a big deal. Because this probably isn't going to go anywhere. And then they got busted. And it started leaking. And then they had to basically. Pretend like they're in love. Yeah. I mean. I agree. I think. I think the problem for me though. Is that she didn't think about Sierra. Like. Agreed. So. Like. If you're.
[00:27:40] If you're genuinely friends with someone. Whether they dated two years ago. Five years ago. Ten years ago. A week ago. Your friend has talked to you intimately. If you're truly friends. Right. About that relationship. Their feelings in that relationship. How they were treated. And so for you. To then go. And be like. Hmm. I want to see what that's all about. Without even having a conversation. With your friend. Like. To Jesse's credit. He went about it the wrong way. But he at least said to West. Like. I'm having these feelings. Right.
[00:28:09] I think that's the problem for Amanda. Is she thinks about herself. She doesn't think about other people. Yeah. And it's become very clear. I think their whole plan was. And I'm not taking credit for this. Because I agree just with what other people have. Have. Thought about this. I think the whole plan was. We're going to make Kyle look like the bad guy. We're going to release our statement about the divorce. We're going to get together.
[00:28:36] And then the public's going to root so much for me. Because Sierra has dragged you along. And Kyle has been so mean to me throughout our marriage. That people are going to rally behind us. And we're going to be like the new. It couple. Right. Right. It'll become about us. People are going to think this is cute. Because. People are going to think like. Oh she's finally found someone who stands up for her. He's such a good guy. He wasn't a fit for Sierra. But he's like. Like you just said. He wasn't a fit for Sierra. But this makes sense. Like they were friends first.
[00:29:06] And then you know. Right. But I think the whole. This is where I think the line to Sierra blew up in their face. Because if Sierra is asking you. And she said as far back as January. If all of your friends are coming to you. And saying. What's going on? You guys seem weird. Two months before you're putting a statement out. Yeah. I think you pan it. And I think had you. Not been forced. Because people were saying. No. This is a real thing.
[00:29:36] Like. There is something going on. They are lying. They're on watch what happens live. And they are lying. They're straight up. And they're lying. I think it could have gone the way they planned it to go. Had they. Not lied to their friends. And just said. Yeah. Like got everybody together. And be like. Yeah guys. Let's pick up the cameras. This is happening. Whatever. Told their piece about it. Before people started putting the pieces together themselves. I. I think that's why they're getting the backlash now. Is because. You were caught.
[00:30:05] And you continue to lie. Instead of just being honest. And that's why people are having an issue with it. It's like. Okay. So tell me this. If. In the world. If there is a world. Where. They didn't. Okay. Things develop. Because like you said. They have. They have a genuine friendship. We do know that. Like it's not like they were just. A random hookup. We know they've been friends. We know they've hung out. Whether it be in the groups. Or whatever. And.
[00:30:34] Like things do happen. People can develop feelings. You know. Whatever. You know. Not everybody acts on stuff. But like. That can happen. Do you think that if they would have. Immediately. West. You know. Goes to Jesse. And says. Oh my gosh. I've got feelings for Amanda. And like. I don't know what to do about it. Like. This is weird. You know. Whatever. And if Amanda. Went to Sierra. And said.
