[00:00:25] I'm going to show jump right into what we can talk about today, which is all that we have been given on TV, which is competition shows. It has all been competition shows.

[00:01:40] And I'm saying competition shows because I as I am usually very, very excited about competition show season and it always kicks off with Big Brother in the summertime because summer is for Big Brother as we know. I will have to? I have been watching all that survivor. I think I stopped watching survivor. So this is going to date. I think it was like maybe one of the first five seasons when the construction

[00:04:21] worker from Boston was on there and he married some girls. That was in Australia. Boston a rookie too. I am here to admit that I have begun watching the masked singer. I'm new to this. I have seen bits and pieces of it over the last several seasons. I know what it is. I know it's been out there, all that stuff. I honestly for a while have thought it was kind of a joke.

[00:06:45] of mine. So something happened where I change a channel really quick, I change it to whatever's next and it was the mass singer. I'll put it on, I'm probably fixing dinner or whatever it's on in there

[00:06:50] just background noise. And I got sucked in. Okay, I get sucked in. Spoiler alerts to anybody who's

[00:06:59] watching because if you're like behind on any of this, just maybe don't listen this episode. I'm just

[00:07:04] gonna go ahead and tell you we're gonna talk about things that have happened on these shows. every episode and I'm a smidge embarrassed. I'm a little bit embarrassed. Messinger is actually a really get away from the ridiculous costumes that they're really I can't I can't yeah the costumes are ridiculous but why why do they have these like I don't understand I think it's just to cover the entire body so that

[00:08:21] you can't really tell and they use some voice adjusters or whatever they're obvious than they typically give. So part of me is like either they had nothing else for this person, or they just really wanted them people to guess them immediately right away. So tell me this, riddle me this, okay, because again, I'm rookie on this.

[00:09:40] I have a couple questions.

[00:09:41] First of all, do the judges legitimately not know?

[00:09:46] They don't but they are always singing

[00:11:01] Correct. They are always singing. Yes. It's like karaoke

[00:11:06] Sometimes in some of the seasons

[00:12:04] never heard these people saying it's kind of like their clues were very confusing. You're like, Oh, okay. Right. Yeah. Okay. And then the last question I had is,

[00:12:10] so when the audience votes,

[00:12:13] because they're voting now, are they voting for the best performance, or are they voting who they

[00:12:22] want to be revealed? You see what I'm saying? I don't really like is that whenever they're constantly showing the crowd shots and the crowd is always going like, oh yeah, this one, this one, and they're constantly talking to each other. It really looks fake and silly to me. But I just couldn't, they're, they're just voting for their favorite person overall. Like it doesn't necessarily mean favorite singer. It doesn't mean. So, it doesn't mean best performance. It just means their favorite one from that time.

[00:15:02] So this is why in going to my theory of everybody kind of figured out who the person First person revealed was Anthony Anderson. Anthony Anderson, thank you. Second person revealed was in a diving costume, like a submarine-ish with an octopus wrapped around it or whatever. Yeah, it was weird. Called him the diver. And immediately, like I said, immediately,

[00:16:22] from the first set of clues, and I

[00:16:25] think the combination of the performance, too.

[00:16:27] The performance, the pickle is revealed. You know, people thought it was going to be Charlie Sheen or I thought it was Charlie Sheen. I thought it was Charlie Sheen as well. I was behind that. When they put the friends up there, I was like, Oh, that's the, the

[00:17:41] brat pack.

[00:17:42] Yeah.

[00:17:42] Got the one redhead with Molly ring wall.

[00:17:45] That's right.

[00:18:48] the years is a big fan of Bravo is always on Watch What Happens Live and things like that.

[00:18:54] You know, that was fun to watch. It was fun to see them be wrong. Like I thoroughly enjoyed that

[00:19:02] time of it because that was my first time to say one of the first two weeks. Someone against LaGazela is bass and then he's on the show. And then he's on the show. And then he's on the last night. I was like, oh, so it's not him. It's not like I got it. I got it. Well, it was funny. I think the first week that I was watching in almost every package, like every time the stars. Okay, here's why. I, yeah, yeah, girl, I'm a fan, obviously of the show. I love Alfonso. And so I was happy to have him as the host. He's great. I like Julian Huff sitting on the judges panel. I'm fine with that. But something about her as a host, the way she does her voice and the way with technique, but then trying to be mean like Len, and I'm just kind of like that. Yeah. She's a, she's a, I, someone who I feel like tries to hard unnecessarily like in life. Just be yourself and get the interviews.

[00:24:21] Yeah, I agree. I don't know that I, I, big fan of Alfonso,

[00:24:25] huge improvement from Tyra.

[00:24:27] Yes. The other night, like she made some comment when Ariana, I think, had on little tennis shoes instead of heels. And it was like the way she looked down and was like, so I see here, like, we usually wear heels for the tang or for the quick step.

[00:25:41] And what do you have going on here?

[00:25:44] And I kind of want to be like, and Ariana even was like, we're working through it.

[00:25:47] Like, we're just working through it.

[00:26:41] solo. Well, I'm good. It's four on the floor.

[00:26:46] I feel like this is just a way to

[00:27:05] You know, like, so happy for your

[00:27:07] eight to nine.

[00:28:04] Yeah, and Mark, we got him back last year for that. Like one little teaser, like came back for one year kind of thing.

[00:28:08] But I love Mark and I always liked Louis, the older guy that Louis has.

[00:28:16] Well, I always loved him, but he's been kind of off and on over the years.

[00:28:21] But yeah, and Artem has always been one of my favorites.

[00:28:27] I like Artem.

[00:28:28] Yeah. Yeah. I had to ask my daughter who he was. And who really was. So same. So we have Jason Maraz. Singly good dancer. Singer songwriter and clearly a good performer, you know, who knew. I know and he's super cute about it. Like I'm a fan. That's great.

[00:30:46] But I need her to, I need her to be normal.

[00:30:51] Like I feel like when she's doing this,

[00:31:05] Like she just seems to me like she's almost inconvenienced. You know, like, I don't necessarily have a problem with him. I never really did whenever he was on housewives with Kyle and stuff, Kyle Richards, but they are going through this whole weird divorce separation. Nobody knows it's up in the air. He's going out on dates.

[00:32:20] She's with a woman like there.

[00:32:23] I don't know.

[00:32:24] And now he gives me the ick too. in Mexico. So I was like, oh, she's not going to have to teach you how to do the salsa. She's just going to refine it a little bit. Right. No, he's not good. He had no, not good. No. Yeah. So yeah, I don't really don't really care for him. Okay, Harry Jowsy. This is

[00:34:45] her sister, who Lindsay is not dancing this season. She, you know, has been in time with her family and whatnot. So, but I did see some stuff online of Harry and

[00:34:53] Riley out and about together holding hands, walking through the crowds and

[00:34:57] stuff. So there's buzz that there's an actual romance there. Big, big freakin

[00:35:03] surprise. Who knows?

[00:35:05] What would two attractive young people do?

[00:36:05] was the standard of stuff. Yeah.

[00:36:05] And so I see he's on the show and I was like, oh, hot damn.

[00:36:10] Yeah.

[00:36:10] OK, great.

[00:36:12] He not good.

[00:36:14] Oh, and that's to me one of the most disappointing things

[00:36:17] is when you take someone that you're like, oh, they're so handsome.

[00:36:21] They're this.

[00:36:21] And then you see them move and you're like, oh.

[00:36:24] And he's like, oh, oh, nice to back first could be able to show. Yes, yes, yes.. Adrian Peterson, OAP. The token football player that's gotta come on the season.

[00:39:01] Yeah.

[00:39:02] That generally football players are really good on this show.

[00:39:08] They're not bad, yeah. She is like, I have got my life together over here with my new boyfriend and I've got AP coming to me over here and I'm going to win this season because he's a football player and that's what happens. And then AP steps on the floor and he can't dance either. And his disappointing is disappointing. I always like watching the football players do it and it's just not happening.

[00:41:29] a Disney Channel kid. She's been in Raven's home, the babysitter's club, but some of the more

[00:41:39] adult members of our audience may know her from Dr. Strange in the multiverse.

[00:41:45] So she is a Marvel kid too, which gives seriously and saying like, Oh, I'm an actress. And so therefore I can act sexy. Even if I can't dance, I can act it. You know, so instead she just goes out there.

[00:43:00] And I mean, she, she's not exactly like super friendly and peppy and stuff. She was just very like, I'm just doing this so everybody can see that I still got it.

[00:44:21] And you know, I'm showing my kids I can do it.

[00:44:24] Like, she wasn't super fun to watch. you're missing out. This is your loss. You're getting kicked off like done. Go home. All right. Next is Charity Lawson who is dancing with my favorite, Artem. She was the Bachelorette and I didn't watch that season of, oh, I got, you know, don't buy my boyfriend. And he was hooking up with my best friend and blah, blah, blah, and everything.

[00:47:00] And she's kind of had to take that story again.

[00:47:03] But she's had a couple of times. He has. Yeah. And you know, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm hopeful that she will get to stick around for her own mental health. Like let's not kick her off too early and just send her in a spiral

[00:48:23] back behind the bar.

[00:48:24] But I don't know.

[00:48:26] We'll see.

[00:49:28] And she was going quick, quick, slow, quick, slow, quick, quick, slow. Like she was saying it as door dancing.

[00:49:30] And I could see it all.

[00:49:32] And I'm like, if I could see it, the judges can see it.

[00:49:34] Like, OK, we get it.

[00:49:36] Quick, quick, slow, quick, quick, slow.

[00:49:40] And then she'd get right by the judges and she'd smile real big.

[00:49:44] Quick, quick, slow.

[00:49:46] Yeah, so was family friendly. Is your family friendly? I've been on that. I've been on that as well. Okay. They have gone together to that. True. But this was like a year and a half ago or so, two years maybe.

[00:51:02] And the tour, you know, that they're always promoting at the end of Dancing with the Stars,

[00:51:07] right? And they love Artem 2 and anyway, it was great. So we go, we get tickets, we go to the show, men, women, everybody there, like it's mixed age crowd. And we get in, I feel like we've got pretty good seats, you know, and they only announce, right,

[00:52:20] maybe a week or two before the show,

[00:52:26] who all is going to actually be at your location.

[00:53:32] And it could have been the it's I've never been to I've never been to like a magic mic style show. But I'm guessing that's what this was like.

[00:53:36] And the women like all around us are screaming like take it off take it off like. Oh my gosh, and I'm like, I don't know. It's that family friendly. It did. And I mean, this was, I was picturing, you know, dances from the season, right? Like the show we had just watched and you would kind of recreate some of them or whatnot.

[00:55:00] Nope. Nope.

[00:55:02] This was like a review, like a male review.

[00:56:03] whole amount of scandalous dancing. And then it's like all the dances that they're doing

[00:56:06] are, they're beautiful, they're great dances, of course.

[00:56:11] But I mean, they're like in the crowd

[00:56:14] and grinding on each other and like, you know,

[00:56:18] getting the crowd involved.

[00:56:20] And you like that, you like that,

[00:56:21] you wanna see more, you know?

[00:56:23] It's like, it was, it was interesting. Note to self, you know, case it comes in my area. Do I want to go to this?

[00:57:41] You, you, oh, you want to go.

[00:57:44] I just don't want to take my kid with me.

[00:57:46] Correct. Yep. Oh, gosh. Oh, gosh. Oh. Okay. Well, so that's great for storytime. Just wanted to share. Yeah. You know, that's, that's a dance with the stars this season.

[00:59:03] Again, not don't. That's why I've never signed up to do this. This is why I'm watching from the couch because I do not think this is easy. Like what are you talking about?

[01:00:26] and I'm like no he has no advantage over any of you he knows nothing that's about to happen no except for the jumping off the boat part yes that he's done before so yeah so he's already like fighting a battle and stuff and so that

[01:01:40] makes it dumb too um so yeah I kind it. Thanks for doing it with anyone. Yeah. So it's definitely one of my favorites. It's still a little too early, obviously in the season because there's still so many couples right now racing.

[01:03:01] As it drills down, it gets a lot better.

[01:03:05] But it's early, we'll see.

[01:04:06] every week. Well, you need you to have a something scary or something, whatever, like you don't have to have that vibe

[01:04:09] for the week, like just let them play the game. It's enough.

[01:05:24] And he was more of a liability to her than anything. He's talked so much and is a one upper.

[01:05:30] Like someone says something to him.

[01:05:32] He, it's almost like he wanted to be revealed

[01:05:37] without actually really to accept for the person

[01:05:39] that he actually did reveal it to,

[01:05:41] which I'm shocked she's still keeping it secret.

[01:05:44] But to me, Sarri was. Had she known the things that he was saying, and if she watches the season back, she's gonna be like, he hurt our game. Not only hurt his game, but he hurt my game. Like he just talks too much. And he was rude about it.

[01:07:02] He's very rude, yeah.

[01:07:04] He was not one to, I know my son better, like there's problems. I think my sister watches the show too. And I was like, does she have any other kids that could have played with her? Jared liked it because he's not good at this. Well, she even said in one of her diary rooms, something she's like, you know, now I gotta clean up Jared's mess too.

[01:08:21] You know, she's like, you know,

[01:08:22] I already had to clean up the mess of this alliance.

[01:08:25] And now I gotta clean up Jared's mess too.

[01:08:27] Like she knows, she knows. I tell you, I think this whole season would have looked differently if Felicia hadn't played on her emotions and gotten rid of Hysum. He was the one person in their alliance minus Cameron, if they would have stayed true to him in red,

[01:09:45] who was going to win a competition at some point in time in fight amongst each other and have their battles. And he just wins his nominations. He keeps his mouth shut too because he doesn't feel like telling them. Instead of lying to them, he just doesn't tell them. And he has this word to share it.

[01:11:00] He's like, I will not nominate three.

[01:11:02] And he has to work.

[01:11:03] He said, I will help protect. I should have trusted that Cameron was being true to me. He was just playing the game. Yeah. You know. And he was one side of, he didn't know that was happening. That's right. And so, you know, all these things that are going on

[01:12:23] and y'all are just assuming you're all just mad

[01:12:25] because Cameron kept winning. you say. Yeah. So if you're going in the dark in the diary room and being reckless with your words and talking about people not thinking, Oh, they may make it to jury. And then at some point, they're going to hear this. And that may affect my game. I think people play differently. I don't like that they edit what they show the people in the jury. If there's no chance of them coming back. That's right. It's the same way with like goodbye messages. Sometimes, you know, like there's some

[01:15:01] get spoiled. She'll put a title to it.

[01:15:04] So it says like Vito winner, you know, coming up or something.

[01:16:02] maybe we like FaceTime sometimes and like, y'all couldn't see my kid and whatever.

[01:16:05] it'd be cool to be like normal around you guys.

[01:16:09] And Blue was like,

[01:16:10] Cameron, your number is the first one I'm blocking.

[01:16:14] You know?

[01:16:15] And I'm like,

[01:16:17] why are you guys like like?

[01:16:20] And I know we don't see everything either,

[01:16:22] but from what I understand from these feed watchers

[01:16:25] and stuff that I've we're not in there, but still. I'm a fan of him. So we'll see there's a lot of game left to play. They just now are sending people to jury. So all of these people that are here that we're seeing currently are going to be around for the long call because they will be in the jury house or in the finale.

[01:17:43] You know, I thought that was super cute whenever Cameron basically made his way

[01:17:47] back into the house and he knew that that.

[01:18:49] Right. Yep. So we're getting there now, but I'm just ready for Corey and or America to go. They

[01:18:59] I would like America to go. I think either I'm good with either one. I think Corey deserves to play a little bit longer.

[01:20:22] When it comes to playing the game, I don't want him to win and I don't know your take on this, there's a little bit of a double standard there because some of the pressuring she's been doing with Corey in the beginning of their show mants, which I'm still not convinced is 100% real. Like pressuring him to kiss her and to hook up with her in the house. Oh, she talked about it.

[01:20:24] Had it been on the other way around and want to address certain things and stuff, because she's mad. And it's like, you need to go back and watch.

[01:21:42] He should have kept her mouth closed, just like Jared

[01:21:44] should have kept his clothes.

[01:21:45] Yep. meeting and voted and said, oh, that's a fabulous idea. That's not has got to be up there among the worst. It's so dumb. It's so dumb. But I think they'll hear that too.
