This month’s Storytime Station book is “The Cat Who Acted Like a Dog”, read by Tracy Hall, Executive Director of Education Matters in Catawba Valley.

The author of this month’s book is Laura Mims.  Laura has a master’s degree in education and taught elementary school before leaving the profession to raise her family.  The original story of The Cat Who Acted Like a Dog began as an assignment for one of her children’s literature classes while studying at UNC-Greensboro.  She currently lives in Greensboro, NC with her husband and three children and works as a content writer for an online marketing company.

Illustrations for this book are by Dan Robinette, a graphic designer in High Point, NC.

    Storytelling… What a great idea! This story saved me Sunday night, when I saw the facebook posting. My girls (8 & 5) really enjoyed it, and I did too! Very enjoyable! I'll be looking out for the next month's story 🙂
