Business North Carolina is a monthly magazine dedicated to exploring and uncovering the success that lies within North Carolina. For over 30 years, Business North Carolina has focused on the perspective of business from a unique position by highlighting news as it pertains to the state as a whole, rather than from a national or local perspective.

In the April edition of Business North Carolina, Catawba County is thoroughly investigated and a six-page article reveals some of the exciting projects that are coming out of western North Carolina. Among these projects is The MESH, our online media network dedicated to highlighting local personalities and talent. The MESH receives recognition along with several other noteworthy ventures as a leading, innovative concept that is helping put Catawba County on the map.

The MESH to help Keep NC Beautiful

The MESH is excited announce a new project designed to help keep North Carolina beautiful. Throughout the month of April, The MESH will be donating $.25 for every new “like” received on the official Facebook of The MESH.  The MESH encourages those who have already “liked” The MESH on Facebook to share the page with their friends in order to maximize the difference that can be made for North Carolina.

The O-N-E Shot comes to The MESH

Have you ever wanted to take a few minutes out of your day, a few times a week to get caught up on the latest news in Catawba County? Do you find yourself not having time to catch the 6 o’clock news each night? Don’t worry…we’ve got a brand new solution for you.

The MESH is partnering with the Observer News Enterprise to bring you a bi-weekly podcast that delivers a quick summary of the latest news in your area. The O-N-E Shot is produced by the Observer News Enterprise and will cover news and sports stories for Catawba County, North Carolina. Your host, O-N-E Publisher Michael Willard brings you a condensed, concise and informative podcast at the beginning and end of each week. This audio program will give you the main headlines for recent news. All you have to do is subscribe to the O-N-E Shot to get new episodes pushed to your computer on an ongoing basis.

Last days to enter The MESH iPad contest!

The last episodes have been posted that contain codes for our iPad Giveaway contest... all of the MESH episodes that have been published between January 1st and March 31st 2012 (with the exception of the O-N-E Shot) contain a special code that you can use to submit an entry into our contest.  You have until midnight on APRIL 10th to enter each code - along with your email address - on our Contest page.  Each code you submit gives you one entry in our contest.

We will be drawing and announcing the winner of the iPad on April 15th; we will be contacting the winner by email, then announce their name on the site and on our Facebook page.
